REPAIR TO SEWAGE LINE, DRAIN, FENCING, HARDSTANDING AND PAINTING TO BOUNDARY WALL ETC AT AIR FORCE STATION BARWALA UNDER AGE (I) HIGHGROUND CHANDIGARH

Cleaning of underground sewage lines of 100 mm /150 mm/ 200 mm/300 mm bore from solid/ liquid/ mud deposited in these lines manually by rodding with sewage drainage rods through connecting manholes and removing sludge to a distance not exc 500 m from outside periphery of defence land including cleaning sludge/ solid deposited from the ends as well as from intermediate manholes coming between these lines taking off & refixing of manhole covers, complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) Rates quoted against the items shall deemed to include for all T&P and safety measures of workers/ safaiwalas. (b) The lines measured once can not measured again within 3 months. If blockage in the same lines re-occur within 3 months the contractor will clean again & nothing will be paid extra for this.

Cleaning of underground sewage lines of 100 to 300 mm bore by excavation and breaking (minimum two length) and removing the blockage, laying new pipes, re-jointing with old pipes including haunching the new pipes with PCC (1:3:6), type C-2, using 40 mm graded aggregate in all locations where cleaning is not possible otherwise complete all as specified and directed. Note: Rates quoted by contractor shall deemed to be inclusive of necessary excavation, returning filling and disposal of excavated soil

Cleaning, desilting of septic tank/ manholes from solid/ liquid, mud and removing sludge to a distance not exc 500 m from the outside periphery of defence land complete, including pumping out liquid and liquid sludge with pump arrangements complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Only solid contents shall be measured for payment. (ii) Rates quoted by contractor shall deemed to be inclusive of T/P required for execution of this item.

Cleaning of blockage of the Gully trap upto first manhole (include gully trap) manually by rodding and removing the deposited sludge/solid/liquid material, outside MoD land, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing blockage from water closet (Indian or European type) by removing solid/ liquid or mud deposited in the trap or CI pipeline by rodding manually and removing the sludge (outside MOD land duly covered in a hygienic manner) to a distance exceeding 150 metre but not exceeding 250 metre and making the WC fully functional, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing blockage from from floor/ nahani trap of kitchen, bathroom & washbasin by removing solid/ liquid or mud deposited in the trap or CI pipeline by rodding manually and removing the sludge (outside MOD land duly covered in a hygienic manner) to a distance exceeding 150 metre but not exceeding 250 metre and making the WC fully functional, complete all as specified and directed.

Notes applicable for items 5 & 6 :- (a) One safaiwala alongwith supervisor of contractor will attend complaint cell of AGE (I) Highground daily at Barwala Air Force Station at 08:30 hrs for complete tenure of contract including extension period if any, to collect the complaints and submit the complaint slip duly signed by user at 16:30 hrs the same day. It shall be the responsibility of contractor to ensure completion of complaints on daily basis.The quoted rate by the contractor against this item shall deemed to be included the cost of the aforesaid manpower. (b) Recovery of Rs 500/- per day if safaiwala is found absent. (c) Contractor shall be solely responsible for ensuring and supplying all the safety measure required by the safaiwalas during the currency of contract. (d) All waste material shall be disposed off outside MOD land. (e) The contractor will ensure the cleaning/clearing of all the complaints (irrespective of Nos) within 24 Hrs of its raising by deploying additional sfaiwalas if required. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. (f) The rates quoted in the above items includes cost of all the T&P like rods, bamboos, etc & safety measures, contractor shall be solely responsible for supplying all the T&P and safety measures required by the safaiwalas during currecny of contract. (g) A recovery of Rs 50/- per complaint per day will be made from contractor for complaints pending for more than 24 hours of its raising.

Cleaning of STP chamber of any shape/ size upto entire depth by dewatering/ desludging and removing of any type of solid contents including mud, brick bats, empty containers, vegitation growth, any type of polythene and other similar items and removing entire rubbish material out of MOD land. During cleaning blockage/ diversion of sewage is deemed to be included in unit rate complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for loose filling with broken bricks of gauge 80 to 150 mm in soakage pits, soakage wells complete as specified and directed.

Cleaning & clearing of solid/liquid mud/any type of solid content including mud,brick bats,empty containers of any type, polythene or any similar items deposited in underground sewage lines 100 to 600 mm bore laid in entire area (domestic as well as tech area) under Air Force Station Barwala and any depth upto 8 metres including manholes/inspection chambers of any size and any depth, using SUPER SUCTION MACHINE TRUCK MOUNTED HAVING SUCTION CAPACITY 1000 TO 4000 CUM/HRS, JETTING PUMP WITH WORKING PRESSURE AT LEAST 120 BAR having facilities of high presssure water thermoplastic fibre braided water jetting hose and through conical/round shape nozzler pipe, bottom surface of manholes/inspection chambers & sewage lines should be visible after cleaning process. Sludge /sludge water/any type of waste recovered from sewage lines/manhloes/inspection chambers shall be disposed off at authorised dumping site declared by local administration outside Ministry of defence land complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE:- (i) Payment shall be made to the contractor as under:- (a) 70% after cleaning/clearing the line. (b) 20% after three months (from the date of cleaning) (c) 10% (after four months from the date cleaning of line) or payment in final bill as applicable. (ii) Lines once cleared will be maintained through out the period of the contract. If there is any blockage during the period of the contract, the same will be cleared without any extra cost by the contractor. (iii) In case of any blockage is observed /found in any cleared line through super suction manchine during the time period of contract and it becomes necessary to clear the sewage line with machine, the same shall be cleared through manchine by the contractor without any extra cost to the department. The line shall be cleared by the contractor within 48 hrs after intimation to the contractor. The rate quoted by the contractor against this item shall be deemed to be inclusive of clearance of lines twice or more time as required during the whole contract period.

Supply and Fixing of Factory made Precast Circular Manhole Cover (dia 600mm with minimum thickness 75 mm) with collar Medium duty having capacity not less than 10 Metric Ton complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fixing of Factory made Precast Square/rectangular Manhole Cover (of size 600mm x 600mm with minimum thickness 75 mm) with collar Medium duty having capacity not less than 10 Metric Ton complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete ( unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specially provided for including removal of debries out of defence land complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for precast reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in manhole covers, chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces including necessary formwork and Cement Mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and directed (Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately.

Material and Labour for TMT steel bars, 6 mm to 8 mm dia and over , cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia complete all as specified and as directed.

Cleaning of underground storm water road gully chamber by removing MS or PCC road gully cover or both by dismantling PCC copping and removal of silt, vegitation grass roots etc complete from gully trap and from the mouth of inlet and outlet pipe for ensuring free flow of storm water and refixing the same or new PCC/MS cover or both as per original provision or as directed and fixing with PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 copping and cleaning the surrounding 1 mtr all around and removal of debries and silt etc to a distance 100 to 250 metre away from the road side complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of barbed wire fencing of any description and removal to store for credit, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or RCC) any section embedded in concrete,brick work, masonry etc, including taking out embedded portion and making good disturbed ground, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in posts holes (or similar holes) each not exceeding 0.5 cubic metre, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm, watering and removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and making good surface in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fix Mild Steel angle iron or other flat or round sections cofirming to Fe-290 Gde E165 as required for posts or struts in fencing including cutting at top and bottom to shape as directed, including welding the cut portion at top, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc. mild steel round bar 6 mm dia nibs, connecting struts to posts with 2 Nos. mild steel bolts 50 mm long 10 mm dia and washers, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fix Galvanised two strands, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia barbed with 2 mm dia barbs at 75 mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc., complete all as specified and directed. Note: Each line of wire to be measured

Fixing only and restraining, resecuring incl making good staples etc, (Galvanised two strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia barbed with 2 mm dia barbs at 75 mm spacing) to any type of standard rails including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc., complete all as specified and directed. Note: Each line of wire to be measured. Old wire retrieved under item 16.00 will be used under this item.

Dismantling fencing wire mesh,any type complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only MS galvanised chain link fencing , any size or type, weight not less than 3.0 Kg/Sqm, complete all as specified. Note:- Fixing of chain link fencing will be measured and paid separately

Fixing only chain link MS galvanised fencing including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts, etc. including provision of binding wire for straining and fixing to wood, concrete or steel posts with bolting or weilding, excluding provn of MS flats 30x30x3mm at top of posts to post next with bolting or weilding, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Only MS flat to be measured and paid separately.

Material and labour, applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over and including a coat of red oxide primer, on new steel surfaces over 10cm width or girth, including preparation of steel surface, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fixing fixed in repair Barbed razor type concertain coil fixed on existing angle post and barbed wire over security wall with coil of 8 to 10 turns per coil of minimum weight of coil 14.50 Kg ,hot dip galvanised and binding with and including MS annelled wire of 0.60 mm ,complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for mild steel as in framed work of doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing similar work conforming to Fe-290 Grade E-165, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of old steel surfaces over 10cm width or girth not otherwise described and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint, as on concertain angles/fencing angles etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Preparation of old plastered or unplastered, old decorated surfaces of wall by brooming down with steel brushing,scraping down smoke soot's moulds moss and efflorescent salts trading oil greasy sport etc and applying one coat of cement base paint all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment from surfaces of ceiling by wire brushes and using sand paper and stopping of surfaces & leveling /edging the disturbed places /edges by applying 1mm thick wall care putty to obtain smooth regular/even finish and applying two coats of Ist quality plastic emulsion paint (interior/exterior grade acrylic emulsion alkali proof) complete all as specified and directed

Material and Labour for Preparation of Old Painted Surfaces of any description over 10cm girth or width, not otherwise described and applying one coat of Plastic emulsion Paint (interior/exterior grade acrylic emulsion alkali proof, Ist quality) using necessay wall care putty all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete in any position and any description including removal outside the MoD land, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for providing pre-cast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in kerb stones including necessary formwork & moulds and set in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for cement concrete 1:5:10 type E2 in foundation filling and mass concrete using 40mm graded stone aggregate, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 40 mm thick plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregates as in floor, finished the surface even & smooth using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 75 mm thick plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregates finished even and rough using spike rolling to surfaces or making impressions of expanded metal, whilst concrete is greeen including necessary formwork complete all as specified and as directed

Material and Labour for forming construction joints 30 mm deep & 10 mm wide filled with sealing compound grade- 'A' complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for coloured chequered cement concrete tiles (glossy finish) of size 300 mm x 300 mm having thiickness of 25mm, factory made, ISI marked (IS 13801-1993), with grey cement & pigment, laid with neat cement slurry as in path, pavement ,floors, etc. @ 3Kg/Sqm over & including 20mm thick screed bed of cement mortar (1:6), pointed in white cement with matching colour pigment, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60mm thickess M-35 grade with grey cement and pigment, laid over and including 25mm thick fine sand cushioning and joints filled with fine sand, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Rate includes supply and spreading of sand.

Material and Labour for taking out silt, gravel bounders, vegetation grass from chocked and blocked and fully filled up Nallah/ Culvert with revoming the silt rubbish to distance exceeding 150 metre but not exceeding 500 metre complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brick masonry work built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, staging etc. and removal of rubbish outside MOD land, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labourfor brickwork with using subclass 'B' old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in cement mortar (1:4), complete all as specified and directed.

Note : Old serviceable bricks retrieved from demolition vide srl item No 46 here-in-before shall be reused after proper cleaning & washing etc.

Material and Labour for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1, using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates, as in coping, roof kerb, mud stops, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates,benching, water trough etc including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angle and throating, including necessary form work, complete all as specified and directed.

Note: The total amount shall subject to adjustment of credit of Rs 15500.00 for old Materials as per Schedule of Credit
