| 1.03DG set shall be inspected in factory premises before dispatch by representative of the Accepting officer. Note:- (i) The engine of DG set shall be suitably designed to give output of 82.5 KVA including 10% overload. (ii) The quoted rate for DG set shall be inclusive of PCC foundation The foundation for DG set shall be made of PCC as per OEM recommendations. The size of platform shall be as per manfacturers recommendations complete all as specified and directed. (iii) THE DHPP (fuel) required for testing of DG set shall be arranged by the contractor and the cost of the same shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for DG set. M&L for earthing with copper earth plate elecrode of size 60 cm x 60cm x 6.0 mm thick, burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 m below the NGL with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 m below NGL. Earth plate surrounded by 150mm thick packed alternative layers of charcoal dust and comman salt, earth lead copper strip 20x3mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers with thimbles. The other end of copper strip is connected to main switch board and protected by 40mm bore light grade GI pipe. Provn of 20mm bore light grade GI pipe for watering including GI funnel and wire mesh. Pipe shall be provided vertically upto top level of earth pit and then taken horizontally to the equipment. Cement concrete chamber of size 300x300x300mm with PCC (1:3:6 ) type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) with 50mm thick cover of PCC (1:2:4) type B1. The chamber shall be constructed one metre away from edge of earth pit including excavation in soft / loose soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance of 50 m as directed complete all as shown in Electrical Plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I (2009) and specified.
M&L for cement concrete in 1:4:8 type D2 (40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in fnd, filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in with the earth obtained from item No. 12 here-in-before including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.
Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and laying Sub class 'B' bricks(old size) laid flat with length of brick across th cable in trenches as cable covers complete all as specified & directed.
M&L for clean and dry sand (unwashed) in trenches around the cable for cushioning complete all as specified & directed. Note :- Sand cushioning 8cm before laying the cable and 15cm after laying the cable & punned down 18cm,and punned thickness shall be measured and paid.
Supply,laying,testing and commissioning in pipes/ducts/poles/trenches/under floor/under road XLPE insulated cable screened PVC heavy duty with aluminium conductor,11000 Volt grade(earthed) of cross section area 95 Sqmm,3 core complete all as specified & directed.
Supply and laying 80mm bore GI pipe 'light grade' in trenches,under floors,roads,along poles for protection of cables,including sealing ends complete all as specified & directed.
