REPAIR TO LT PANEL AND UNDERGROUND CABLES AND ALLIED SERVICES AT DOMESTIC AREA UNDER GE (AF) CHANDIGARH

Disconnecting/ dismantling and taking out old unserviceable cable any type and size upto 95 sqmm complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation & earth work shall be measured and paid separately.

Excavation in trenches in soft/ loose soil not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth for foundation of pole, laying of cable etc. and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning and filling in excavated soil in layer not exceeding 25cm thick in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtrs and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5mtrs above the starting points complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand cushioning to cables with a layer of sand 8cm deep before laying the cable and 15cm depth after laying & stretching of cable) complete all as specified. Note: Punned thickness overall 18cm shall be measured & paid.

Supply and laying old size sub class ‘B’ bricks as in protection of cable laid dry flat perpendicular to direction of cable abutting each other complete all specified and directed.

Horizontal boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sounding technique and necessary machine suitable for 160mm dia HDPE pipe including supply and laying HDPE pipe suitable for 0.4 mpa working pressure complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying 40mm bore light grade GI tubing with all fitting laid in trenches, fixed to well etc. as for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying 50mm bore light grade GI tubing with all fitting laid in trenches, fixed to well etc. as for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing LT XLPE cable insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 95sqmm 3½ core laid in trenches/ passing through GI tubing etc. complete as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing LT XLPE cable insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 70sqmm 3½ core laid in trenches/ passing through GI tubing etc. complete as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing LT XLPE cable insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 50sqmm 3½ core laid in trenches/ passing through GI tubing etc. complete as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing LT XLPE cable insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 35Sqmm 3.5 Core laid in trenches/ passing through GI tubing etc. complete as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing LT XLPE cable insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 25sqmm 4 core laid in trenches/ passing through GI tubing etc. complete as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing LT XLPE cable insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 16sqmm 4 core laid in trenches/ passing through GI tubing etc. complete as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing LT XLPE cable insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 16sqmm 2 core laid in trenches/ passing through GI tubing etc. complete as specified and directed. Note for item No. 10.00 to 16.00:- Excavation & earth work, sand filling and brick protection shall be measured and paid separately.

Relaying of existing LT cables and re-routing the same in excavation in trenches and connections with suitable aluminium thimbles and testing complete. Note:- Excavation & earth work, sand filling and brick protection shall be measured and paid separately.

Supplying and fixing 1100 volts grade heavy duty twin core cable flat or circular of size 6 sqmm PVC insulated with aluminium conductor, served with inner sheathing of PVC tape and overall PVC sheathed in service connections suspended by insulating hangers not more than 1 metre apart including 4mm suspension wire complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting electric steel pole up to 09 Mtr height (overall height) after preparing the surface with two coat super enameled paint as per existing colour upto 1.50m above muff in 30cm wide each strip and remaining portion of pole including cross arm, clamps, channel etc. with two coats of aliminium paint including writing pole number in letters or figures (Block. Roman, Italic or Indian) n. exc. 10 cm high complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of aluminium thimbles/ lugs for LT cables of following sizes complete all as specified and directed:

25 sqmm to 35 sqmm

50 sqmm to 70 sqmm

95 sqmm to 120 Sqmm

Supply and fix in replacement LED indicator lamps in RBY colour all as specified and directed

M&L for in replacement factory made LT feeder pillar box of size 75cm x 75cm x 60cm with set of 4 strip copper bus bars 200 Amp, 1100 volt grade, 60cm long duly sleeved with relevant colored sleeves cubical outdoor type, weather proof, fabricated out 14 SWG MS sheet, welded on 40mm x 40mm x 6mm angle iron frame & having four Nos 120cm long angle iron legs made out of 40mm x 40mm x 6mm below frame grouted on ground in concrete block of size 80cm x 80cm x 20cm built in PCC (1:2:4) type B-2 of suitable size with front & rear openable door having locking arrangements, bottom space for cable entry duly powder coated internally and externally complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor single core cable with cable thimble/ lugs made of copper in surface/ recessed as required for LT panel repair with necessary fixtures as required at site complete all as specified & directed and of following sizes :

S&F stainless steel (SS-304 grade) friction hinges of size 200mm long fixed to LT panels of approved quality, fixed by welding/ stainless steel screws etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of steel surface panels, scrub rusted steel surface and applying two coat of red oxide on rusted surface and painting with two coat super enameled smoke grey paint with smooth finishing of paint, complete all as specified and directed.
