NOTE FOR ALL THE ITEMS OF BOQ Repair of under mentioned furniture items will be carried out as follows:- (a) Removal of existing unserviceable material carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts from furniture articles as mentioned in the schedule.Supply and fixing new parts as per given specification and drg after tightening the joints, pinning, screwing, nailing, wedging, glueing,providing hinges, placing every part in-tact including polishing/painting the entire article with standard workmanship and as directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge.All furniture items is to be painted /poilshed only after making the entire item intact by tightening the joints. (b) Work will be executed on site in different User Units/Md accns of GE (East) agra including BSO's Furniture Yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (c) All Timber shall be of 1st class seasoned hard teak wood free from knots and cracks else specified in drg. (d) M&L for melamine polish high gloss/mate finish with spray machine applying shellac,wood filler,shelar etc after removing of existing polish making surfae smooth by sanding and grinding with standard workmanship as directed by EIC to the following furniture articles of MES pattern viz F/DB/FD/MAP series/TP or Similar items incl applying wax for depressed surface as well as washing with caustic soda wherever required before polishing all as specified and all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Shade of polishing/pinting will be directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down old U/S Top and S&F new top made out of 18mm thick pre-laminated partical board exterior grade ISI marked Make : Orchid/Century having one side teak face and balancing white including 4mm thick teak wood beading all rounds of the top as per existing shape & size all as specified and directed.

Taking down old U/S drawer and S&F new drawer out of shisham as per existing shape & size and bottom of drawer shall be 6mm thick plywood commercial Make : Orchid/Green ply/Century including 25mm approved brass knob, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Taking down old U/S cupboard shutter and S&F new exterior grade having one side teak face and balancing white cupboard shutter with 4mm thick teak wood beading on three sides of shutter and piano type hinges complete including 25mm dia approved brass knob, rest all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for polishing with high class french polish conform to IS-348 Make : Gold Mohar/ Shalimar over one coat of yellow ochre of the required table except bottom including preparation of old and new wooden surface manualy by scratening and making smooth surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down old U/S shutter of almirah large wooden and S&F new shutter of 18mm thick pre-laminted particle board ISI marked Make : Orchid/Century/ Greenply exterior grade as per existing shape & size including 4mm thick teak wooden beading on three side of shutter all as specified and directed.

Taking down old U/S back & S&F new back of 12m thick plywood commercial Make : Orchid/ Century / Green ply with required size of screws all as specified and directed.

Taking down old U/S legs and S&F new legs of 1st class hard wood teak as per existing shape and size all as specified and shown in drg.

Removing of old U/S shelves and S&F new shelves of 1st class hard wood shisham as per existing shape and size all as specified and directed.

Removing of old U/S hasp and staple and S&F new hasp and staple 75mm chromium plated with required size of screws all as specified and directed.

Supply only piano type hinges for shutter of almirah medium wooden complete all as specified and directed.

Removing old U/S handle and S&F new handle 100mm long chromium plated fixed with required size screw complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for polishing with two coats of French polish conform to IS-348 Make : Gold Mohar/ Shalimar to all exposed wooden surface internally and externally complete all as specified and directed.

Removing U/S steel shelves and S & F new shelves of size 915mm long,610mm wide made out of 20 gauge PGI sheet including fixing complete by means of bolting/welding or riveting etc including one coat of synthetic enamel paint (spray painting) over one coat of red oxide primer Make : Asian/Berger including preparation of new steel surface complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of old existing U/S legs/stiffener/rails of form without back steel and S & F new legs/stiffener/rails made out of 25mm MS conduit pipe 16 gauge square/round through gas welding including one coat of red oxide primer Make : Asian/Berger including preparation of steel surface complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of all dust,rust etc and M & L for painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint Make : Asian/Berger including preparation of old/new surface complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down old U/S plank of form without back and S & F new plank of shisham wood of size 1525 X 300X 25mm with required size of nuts, bolt and warsher as required all specified and directed.

REPAIR TO CHAIR CB STEEL WITH/WITHOUT ARMS (FD-75)

Removing of old existing seat frame and S & F new seat frame of Ist class hardwood teak fixed with 4 Nos machine screw 75 mm long X 3mm dia including canning with superior approved quality plastic cane size 2 mm X wide 1/2 round godrej pattern and 3 mm wide 1/2 round on border and apply two coats of French polish in black colour on wood surface of chair CB steel with arm complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out old U/S cane from chair verandah and recanning seat and back with new 4 mm wide half round white plastic cane of superior quality Make: Ajay/Sah incl painting with two coat of white synthetic enamel paint Make : Asain/Berger and preparing of old steel surfaces.

Taking out old U/S Nylon newar from chair verandah and re-weaving seat and back with virgin quality of white/light coloured nylon newar 50 to 55 mm wide incl painting with two coat of white synthetic enamel paint Make : Asian/Berger and preparing of old steel surfaces.

S & F of hard rubber shoe black in colour of best quality to legs for chair verandah complete all as specified and shown on drg complete all as specified and directed.
