Lead charges for lead exceeding 3 KM but not exceeding 4 KM, by mechanical transport including loading unloading, stacking / levelling etc.

Murrum Filling under floors of specified thick in layers of not more than 150 mm thickness including supplying required materials and consolidation etc. complete (Murrum to be brought from out side campus of BARC)

Supplying, Stacking and Laying of 230 mm Thick Soling stones under Floor base including packing with smaller stone and compacting with Hand roller / Floor compactor including spreading and consolidation of blinding material, moorum etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Supplying and injecting with approved quality chemical emulsion at the rates and concentrations as per IS 6313-2001 Part II for pre-constructional anti-termite treatment and creating a chemical barrier under and all around the masonry pits, masonry foundations, wall trenches, plinth filling, junctions of wall and floor, expansion joints, surfaces of RCC works for a depth of min. 500mm from the finished ground level, foundation pit bottom & sides, surrounding of pipes, conduits etc., walls retaining soil above floor level, apron and drain along the perimeter of the building including all byeworks complete as per specification / IS 6313:2001 or latest revision and direction of Engineer in charge (only ground floor plinth area of the building will be measured for the payment in the following three stages. i) 20% after completion of the foundations ii) 50% after completion of the ground floor flooring iii) 30% after completion of all treatment works including ground floor doors & windows. Work to be executed by an approved agency and specified guarantee for 10 (ten) years shall be furnished by the tenderer. Payment will be cleared only after submission of guarantee Note :1) Guarantee for the treatment for a period 10 (ten) years shall be submitted as per specifications. 2) The plinth area of the ground floor only shall be measured for payment excluding area of portico, chajja, ramp, shafts,etc. 3) Work shall be carried out by an approved specialised agency.

PCC, RCC, Formwork and Brick masonary Providing, centering, shuttering Formwork by using steel plates, timber planks for PCC and minor structures including necessary strutting, proping, without staging, supports etc and deshuttering the same after the specified time all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Enginner-in-charge.

Providing, centering, shuttering Form work using PVC film faced plywood to get a neat form finish surface for all types of structures including necessary strutting, proping, staging, supports etc and deshuttering the same after the specified time all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

For Sub Structure

For Super Structure at all levels/heights

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for Vertical and horizontal fins, ledges Note (Applicable for shuttering works): (1) The rates for the above items shall include for providing all necessary holes, cutouts, slits and depressions, labour for fixing adequate pipe sleeves at all indicated locations etc. in formwork as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The formwork / shuttering for providing construction joints in concrete shall not be measured seperately and the contractor to include it in his quoted rate. (2) The shuttering (plywood panels / sheets) shall be so laid that the joints in both the directions are in one line, the pattern for which will be got approved. (3) The centering and shuttering, formwork shall be designed & submitted by the contractor to the Engineer-in-charge for approval prior to commencement of work. Form work shall be properly designed for self weight, weight of reinforcement, weight of fresh concrete, and in addition, the various live loads likely to be imposed during the construction process (such as workmen, materials and equipment). (4) Shuttering used shall be of sufficient stiffness to avoid excessive deflection and joints shall be tightly butted to avoid leakage of slurry. If required, rubberized lining of material as approved by the Engineer-in-charge shall be provided in the joints. Steel shuttering used for concreting should be sufficiently stiffened. The steel shuttering should also be treated with mould oil prior to erection, properly repaired before use, properly cleaned to avoid stains, honey combing, seepage of slurry through joints etc. The form work shall be so assembled as to provide for necessary camber as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. (5) Only steel staging system (of approved quality & design) shall be used for all structural /RCC work for all floors at all levels / heights. (6) All surfaces adjacent to EPs, etc., shall be in true line and level & irregularities, if any, shall be rounded by mechanical grinding, chisseling, finishing the same using epoxy silica sand mortar or non-shrink grouts as applicable at no extra payment. (7) The completed form work including the alignment, levels, profile etc. shall be inspected and approved by the Engineer-in-Charge before the reinforcement bars are placed in position. (8) Temporary shuttering used as stopper in concreting shall not be measured for payment. (9) Provision of through & through bolts / sleeves in external concrete walls,vaults, columns for centering / shuttering & scaffolding shall not be permitted. Through and through tie rods will not be allowed in leak tight structures. (10) The through & through bolts in RCC walls shall be monolithic having cup & cone system as per specific design requirements with prior approval of the Engineer-in-Charge. (11) The contractor shall design, fabricate, assemble and erect aluminium staging in areas wherever SS lining are indicated in the drawing. The contractor shall provide his design related documents & shop drawings including the grade, size, thickness & finish of the aluminium sections adopted for such staging for obtaining approval from the Engineer-in-Charge prior to the commencement. (12) The contractor shall ensure for provisions of adequate safety measures such as handrails, platform, safety nets etc. during the course of execution to facilitate safe means of access at no extra cost to the Owner.

Extra over Item formwork for staging / additional height in centering,shuttering in suspended floors, roofs, landing, high bays, beams and balconies or wherever required with adequate bracing, propping etc. including cost of deshuttering and decentering at atl levels, over first floor.(Plan area to be measured for payment) Staging / additional height in centering, shuttering for every 1.00 m thereof over first floor (3.2m above plinth)

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of 1:3:6 (1 cement, 3 coarse sand, 6 graded stone aggregate of maximum size 20 mm) including consolidation, finishing curing etc. complete as per specificationsand drawings but excluding the cost of Form work shuttering, centering Complete at all levels, all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of 1:4:8 (1 cement, 4 crushed sand, 8 graded stone aggregates of maximum size 20/40 mm) including consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specifications and drawings but excluding the cost of Formwork shuttering, centering complete at all levels.

Providing and laying in position Reinforced Cement concrete (RCC) of grade M-30 using 20mm maximum size aggregates and crushed sand of approved quality including Admixturesof approved Brand and quality (Plasticiser or super plasticiser) if required, including weigh batching, Mechanical mixing, transporting , placing, vibrating, consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering ,and reinforcement complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge

Extra for RCC Using Ready Mix Concrete from outside Project area including transporting and Pumping from approved Batching plants .

Providing and constructing brickwork in cement mortar 1:6 using crushed sand with Flyash/ Flyash lime bricks with minimum 70 kg/ Sq. cm strength of approved make and size in super structure including, scaffolding, raking out joints, curing, cleaning complete all as per specifications and drawings.

Providing and fixing at all levels precast members using cement concrete of Grade M-30 in copings and/or bed blocks, plain window sills, shelves ,louvers, steps, staircases, trench covers, drain covers etc. including hoisting and setting in position with C.M 1:3 (using crushed sand) cost of required centering, shuttering and finishing smooth with 6mm thick cement plaster 1:3 (using crushed sand)on exposed surfaces complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and Fixing 75 mm thick Reinforced precast Jalli in C.C 1:2:4 of approved pattern and from approved Manufacturer including pointing and proper joining of Junctions complete as specified by the Engineer-in-Charge at all levels

Providing and Laying Autoclaved Aerated cement block masonry of approved make with specified thick AAC Blocks in Super structure above plinth level upto 20 m height in cement mortar 1:4 (using crushed sand). The rate shall also include providing and placing in position 2nos of 8mm dia bars at every third course of the masonry work.

Providing and constructing Random Rubble masonry using approved Rubble stone in foundation and plinth in C.M 1:6 (using crushed sand) including raking out joints or simultaneous flush pointing below ground level / plinth level, curing etc.complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

REINFORCEMENT AND STRUCTURAL STEEL Providing and fixing Railings, hand rails using 304 grade Stainless Steel pipes of approved size (as specified below) and make and quality by welding, mirror / matt polishing , fixing at site etc. for balcony railing & staircases railing including special sections as per drawings, specifications complete. The sample to be fabricated and to be got approved by the Engineer before starting of work at site .

Providing Structural steel work in M.S Plain Plates and chequered plate for Embedded Parts, Trench Covers, Connection plates etc.including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved zinc chromate steel primer etc.including cost of structural steel Plates, welding all labour charges etc. complete as per drawings and specifications. Using materials produced by the own plants of SAIL , RINL (Vizag Steel) and TATA only using virgin materials. All test reports to be provided along with the supply of the materials

Providing Structural steel work as embedment in concrete using angles welded and / or bolted in built up sections including supplying, cutting, welding, fabricating, hoisting, fixing in position, applying a priming coat of approved steel primer etc. complete all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Up to and including 300 mm Joists, 350 mm channels, and below sections using materials produced by SAIL , RINL (Vizag Steel) and Main manufacturer only all test reports to be provided along with the supply of the materials

Providing Reinforcement for reinforced cement concrete at all levels including supplying, preparation of bar bending schedules,cutting, bending, transporting, fixing, tieing in position with 1.6 mm dia soft drawn annealed binding wire all labour charges, cost of cover blocks in specified grade of concrete etc. complete including cost of binding wire as per specifications and drawings. Steel Supplied by the Contractor. Using TMT Bars of Specified Grades of all sizes. TMT bars to be supplied by the contractor SAIL, RINL, JSW or TATA make only

D Flooring Providing and laying 50 mm thick cement concrete flooring with concrete hardner topping under layer 38mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 and top layer 12 mm thick wearing surface with metallic floor hardner, cement being mixed with metallic floor hardner of approved quality and make in the ratio of 4:1 (4 cement and 1 metallic floor hardner) by weight and this cement hardner compound mixed with 6 mm downgraded stone aggregate in the ratio of 1:2 by volume including providing and fixing 25X3 mm aluminium strip, This includes cost of cement slurry, finishing to the required finishing and cleaning neatly while handing over the areas etc. complete as per specifications and drawings.

Providing and laying minimum 25 mm thick uniform shade Kotah stone flooring over 20 mm thick (Average) thick base laid over and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and polishing in minimum three levels to obtain mirror polish complete with base cement mortar 1:4 (Using Coarse sand) all as per specifications, patterns and drawings complete

Providing and laying Minimum 25 mm thick uniform shade Kotah stone treads and risers of steps in single length up to 2 metres length slab, skirting, window sills, dado and pillars laid on 20 mm thick (average) cement mortar 1:3 (using coarse sand) and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slabs, including rubbing and polishing to obtain mirror finish, providing grooves in treads as per design etc. complete as per specifications and drawings.

Providing and fixing of Hollow metal 1.5 Hour fire rated doors (of approved ISO 9001-2000 certified Manufacturer) as per IS 3614 part-1 & part-2 for stability and integrity. Pressed Galvanized steel confirming to IS 277 with the following specifications. The recommended fire doors shall be tested at CBRI or ARAI for maximum rating of 2 hours with vision panel. Test certificates shall be furnished for vision panels as part of the fire door assembly. Independent glass test certificates shall not be accepted. The manufacturer's test certificate shall cover all doors supplied shall be within the tested specimen. Deviation in specification and sheet thickness other than what is mentioned in the test certificates shall not be allowed. Proper label confirming the type of door and the hourly rating shall be mandatory. Door frame shall be double rebate profile of size 143 x 57 mm made out of 1.60mm (16 gauge) minimum thick galvanized steel sheet. Frames shall be Mitered and field assembled with self tabs. All provision shall be mortised, drilled and tapped for receiving appropriate hardware. Rubber door silencers shall be provided on the striking jamb. Frames shall be provided with back plate bracket and anchor fasteners for installation on a finished plastered masonry wall opening. Once frame installed shall be grouted with cement & sand slurry necessary for fire doors on the clear masonry opening. Door leaf shall be 46mm thick fully flush double skin door with vision panels of size as indicated below. Door leaf shall be manufactured from 1.2mm (18 guage) minimum thick galvanised steel sheet. Note : All the waterproofing treatment shall be executed through a water- proofing agency approved by the Engineer. A written guarantee on non-judicial stamp paper shall be submitted by the Contractor for a minimum period of ten / twenty years from the certified date of completion for the satisfactory performance of the entire water-proofing system. Providing and laying integral cement based treatment for water proofing on horizontal surfaces at all levels / depths as directed by the Engineer-in-charge and consisting of (i) Ist layer of 22 mm to 25 mm thick approved and specified Rough stone slab over a 25 mm thick base of C.M 1:3 (using coarse River sand) mixed with water proofing compound confirming to IS : 2645 in the proportion recommended by the manufacturer over levelling course, (Levelling course to be paid for separately). Joints sealed and grouted with cement slurry mixed with waterproofing compound. (ii) 2nd layer of 25 mm thick C.M 1:3 (using coarse river sand) mixed with water proofing compound in recommended proportions.
