Repair/Replacement and Maintenance of LT Panels, Switch gears, DG Sets and other allied works at Mil Stn Beas and Jandiala Guru under GE Kapurthala

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.50 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.50 mtr in depth for taking out old cable/laying of under ground cable/foundation of poles/stays including segregation of old serviceable bricks complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per item No. 1 above but depth exceeding 1.5 metre & not exceeding 3.00 metre, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Returing, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming inlayers not exceeding 25 cms thick each layer complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr away and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for brick protection using old size sub class 'B' bricks, laid flat dry but adjoining to each other laid lengh wise perpendicular to the axis of cable complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supplying, filling in trenches spreading, leveling sand cushioning 8 cm below and 15 cm above the cable for under ground cable complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling of existing old ACSR conductors, any size, from existing LT poles at area where UG cables are to be laid, by unwinding the binding wire from insulators including disconnecting from the existing system, keep in safe custody for reuse, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- (a) Payment for taking down of insulators shall be made for separately. (b) UG Cables to be measured separately.

Dismantling of existing old cross arms etc made of mild steel channel, angle iron, flat iron, back plates, nuts, bolts, washers etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling/taking down of insulators of any type/size from LT poles complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling of existing old earth wire/guard wire service feeder or distributor span complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and laying in trenches/through pipes or bare in road crossings/paths/drains/ducts/floors/along poles/walls/ ceilings/ equipments etc. Cable Under ground, Heavy duty, armoured, XLPE insulated with stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 Volts grade of following cross sectional area complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge:-

(a) 16 Sqmm 2 core

(b) 16 sqmm 4 Core

(c) 25 sqmm 4 Core

(d) 35 sqmm 3.5 Core

(e) 70 sqmm 3.5 Core

(f) 95 sq mm 3.5 core

(g) 120 sq mm 3.5 core

(h) 185 sq mm 3.5 core

Supply and layng in replacement GI pipe light grade 50 mm bore for cable porotection fixed to poles/along wall/floor/under road/preparation of GI bracket etc across the drain or nallah with clamps. Bolts, nuts & washers etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per item No 12 above but of 80 mm dia

M&L for cutting the existing hard standing/PCC/WBM road at a depth not less than 45 cm and 25 cm in width for passing of cable through GI pipe, returning filling in, complete including finishing the surfaces by providing cement concrete type B-1 (1:2:4) with 20 mm graded aggregate upto 20 cm, finishing to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down old unserviceable PCC pole from site and Supply and fix Steel tubular swaged poles type 410SP-31(9.0 meter long) complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and screws as complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F PVC looping box comprising of Aluminium bus bar 4 Nos(TPN) and one No 6 Amps SP MCB including necessary Clamps made out of MS flat iron, nuts and bolts suitable for fixing with steel tubular Poles complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for wiring for Circuit from MCB box to Street light including supply and fixing (with suitable clamp) of pvc conduit of size 20 mm dia on pole with FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor single core cable with 2 x 1.5 sqmm + 1 x 1.5 Sqmm earth wire in surfaces/recessed as requiredcomplete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing LED street light fitting 35 Watt IP65 Powder coated pressure die cast aluminium compact LED security light/Street light with heat resistant toughened glass including 1.5 mtr long 32 mm bore GI pipe mounting bracket made to shape for fixing on Pole with 40 mm x 6 mm flat iron clamp 02 numbers with 16 mm dia bolts, nuts and washers complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down old unserviceable any type fitting and Supply and fixing Energy saving LED flood light 120 watts suitable for high mast light with PDC Aluminium body and toughened glass visor fitted in frame, secondary optical lens for superior light distribution, efficiency >90Lm/W, CCT 5700 K, IP 66 input voltage from 120-270 V power factor above 0.95 complete fitting including all accessories complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregates) as in foundation bed and around the pole as mass concrete including necessary form work and finishing the exposed surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per description of Serial item No 33 here-in-before but PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregates as in coping of poles complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement, shackle type porcelain vitrous white, green or brown insulators for working pressure 1100 volts grade 90 mm dia x 75 mm height including galvanised MS straps, washers, insulator bolts, washers & nuts complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement pin type porcelain, vitrous white, brown insulator including one galvanised MS spindle and two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised MS nut, 100 mm height 65 mm dia for 1100 volt grade complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply & fabricating and fixing in replacement cross arms (any type) supports bracing, stiffeners anticlimbing spikes etc made out of MS, MS channel, angle iron, flat of any size including drilling of holes, making of clamps, nut, bolts etc including painting with two coat of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer after preperation of surface to all steel and iron surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement of MCCB, 4 pole, 415 volt of capacity 100 Amp, short circuit breaking capacity 25 KA, thermal magnatic protection type confirming to IS, including thimbles, nuts, bolts, washers etc disconnecting from LT panel and making incoming, out going connections complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Cost of copper thimbles, nut & bolts shall be included in the quoted rate)

All as per item No 25 but capacity 160 Amps and breaking capacity 35/36 KA complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per item No 25 but capacity 200 Amps and breaking capacity 35/36 KA complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per item No 25 but capacity 250 Amps and breaking capacity 35/36 KA complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of MCCB, 4 pole, 415 volt of cpacity. Adjustable type 300 to 350 Amp, short circuit breaking capacity 35/36 KA, thermal setting 70-100% confirming to IS, including thimbles, nuts, bolts, washers etc disconnecting from LT panel and making incoming, out going connections complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Cost of copper thimbles, nut & bolts shall be included in the quoted rate)

All as per item No 29 but capacity 400 Amps and breaking capacity 35/36 KA and thermal setting 5 to 10 times, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note For Item No 25 to 30 :- Contractor will provide MCCBs as per site requirement/design of LT Panel (as per Make,model, type of existing MCCBs) for proper housing of MCCBs in existing LT Panels)

M&L in replacement earthing complete with GI or steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically in a pit not less than 2.25 meter below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 meter below level covered on all sides with alternative layers of charcol dust and common salt 15 cm thick connected to galvanised earth lead Galvanised Iron strip 32 x 6 cm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of Galvanised Iron or steel with protection pipe earth wire protected by galvanized steel pipe light grade 40 mm bore from top of the earth plate electrode upto test point and watering pipe 20mm bore, GI light grade with funnel and wire mesh all as shawn in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-1 and connected to earthing test point all as specified or indiated and testing on completion, including PCC earth pit (1:3:6) type C-2 RCC covered with CI cover hinged with frame including excavation and earth work complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement cable jointing kit for 1.1 KV grade cable for straight through joint complete with Jointing material (Epoxy Based) and accessories suitable for 3½/ 4 core XLPE armoured Al conductor cable of size 25 to 50 sq mm indoor/outdoor type complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per item No 32 but for cable of size 70 to 95mSqmm

All as per item No 32but for cable of size 120 to 185 Sq mm

Labour only for cutting/pruning of tree branches 1.5 mtr all around the LT overhead lines of span n.exc 40 mtr and around the pole obstruction the overhead line & removing the branches to distance n.exc 50 mtr complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Labour only by providing a trained electrician with helper for servicing, repair/maint, replcement of unservicable components like changeover, MCCBs, Volt meter, Ammeter etc , cutting/drilling/welding wk etc ,replacement of copper/alumn bus bar , thimbles, changing of connection copper wire lead etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (The above job also includes replacement of following component in existing LT Panel Boards including disconnecting and taking down the UNSV components at different locationscomplete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge:- (Items used will be measured and paid separately as mentioned below (a) to (g).

Taking down existing old unsv LT panel and supply, fabricating, installation, commissioning, testing and electrically connected CPRI approved manufacturer LT panel out door cubical type, Double door, made of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet steel on angle iron frame 50mm x 50mm x 6 mm of size not less than 1.5m x1.5 m x.0.60 m with removable hinged doors on both side, locking arrangement, vermin proof, painted with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide (internal& external surface) with heat shrinkable sleeves on Copper bus bar 600 Amp capacity - 04 Nos for distribution, complete wiring with thimbles and other accessories using crimping tool including foundation for fixing over PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate foundation complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge comprising the following :-

Taking down existing old unsv LT Junction Box and supply, fabricating, installation, commissioning, testing and electrically connected CPRI approved manufacturer LT Junction Box out door cubical type, Double door, made of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet steel on angle iron frame 50mm x 50mm x 6 mm of with front side hinged door, locking arrangement, vermin proof, painted with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide (internal& external surface) with heat shrinkable sleeves on Copper bus bar 250 Amp capacity - 04 Nos for distribution, complete wiring with thimbles and other accessories using crimping tool including foundation for fixing over PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate foundation complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge comprising the following :- irected :- (a) MCCB, 415 Volt, 4 pole, of capacity 160 Amps - 1 No (b) MCCB, 415 Volt, 4 pole, of capacity 63 Amps, 16 KA - 2 No (c) MCB, TPN, 63 Amps, 10 KA - 2 Nos (d) MCB, SPN, 63 Amps, 10 KA - 2 Nos

Taking out damaged butt hinges and locking arrangement from out door type LT Panel door and M&L for welding new hinges and locking arrnagement on the panel door inlcuding denting/adjusting the door for proper closing and Preparing old painted outer exposed surfaces of LT Panel Board of area not less than 5 SqM, all exposed surfaces of steel items fixed with the Panel, without dismantling and M&L for painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement Change Over Switches ,200 Amps, 4 Pole, 415 Volt, AC , 50 Hz. with suitable size of clamps, nuts, bolts and washers, including cable connection with suitable size of lugs and taking down old item complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement Change Over Switches ,100 Amps, 4 Pole, 415 Volt, AC , 50 Hz. with suitable size of clamps, nuts, bolts and washers, including cable connection with suitable size of lugs and taking down old item complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Periodical maintenance OF Gen Set such as replacement of Oil, fuel & Air filter including cleaning of filter housing etc of Make : Kirloskar/ Cummins diesel engine generating set including replacement of rusted and defective nuts, bolts and washers etc as required at site for 30/35 KVA DG set complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Spares of Filters required for maintenance of DG Set shall be measured and paid separately.

All as per item No 43 above but 45 KVA DG Set.

M&L for lub oil SAE 15 W - 40 (Make : Castrol/Power Supreme or equivalent) - for Top up and filling up the oil in the sump after completely flushing the old oil out of the tank and cleaning of the tank for fresh filling complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for distilled water to be filled in batteries complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Disconnecting the existing battery of capacity 12V 90 to 150 AH from the DG set, taking it to battery workshop, draining out the complete unserviceable electrolyte acid from the battery, filling up with new Electrolyte acid to the required level, charging the battery, testing the battery for correct specific gravity, bringing back to the location, connecting to DG set, start the engine for satisfactory function complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement of Battery 12 V 150 AH and initial charging complete including required electrolite /distilled water etc and fixing as required at site to the concerned DG Set complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per item No 58 but of 12V 180 AH, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and replacement of indicator lamp RYB as specified /bush button/element complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and replacement of Push button for Start/Stop switch complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F power contactors 40A, 1 No-1 NC, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F single phase preventer 240V, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F Thermal over load Relay for power contactor 10 A to 25 A, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and replacement of electronic Fuel Level sensor complete with wiring, connectors, bottle thimble complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement battery cable assembly (-ve & +ve) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for removing old paint from the surface of Open Body Gen Set of alternater capacity upto 50 KVA with sand paper and painting complete DG set & control panel board with synthetic enamel paint (of colour as directed by Engineer-in-Charge) using spray gun with compressed air and writing Ser No/ MES No in block letters with white paint and size of letter n.exc 30 cm height complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and replacement of electronic water temp gauge sensor double pin in bypass complete with wiring, connectors, bottle thimble complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement of brass terminal suitable for 12 Volts, 90/120/180 AH battery complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and repalcement of fuel hose set nylon type of any capacity.
