Excavation in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock ,soft rock ,hard rock chiseling, wedging out rock(where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil complete including setting out true to the lines, grades, width, cutting and trimming of side slopes and levels as shown in the drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site, according to the MORD technical specification section 300 and 1600 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same within in all leads and lifts in acquired road width and transportation of un-useful materials for filling in roadways camber ,embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus materials to approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means alongwith its leveling fine dressing and carriage of machineries ,materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means labour if required.All useful materials such as stones, shingle aggregate and slates etcetera shall be sorted out and stacked in proper stack. Any loss to the public/ private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases. The rate is including the octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Earth work in excavation for all type of structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetera in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock chiseling / wedging out rocks ( where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and MORD technical specification section 300 & 1600 as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto any lead and upto any lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated Suitable / approved materials to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm (one hundred fifty millimetre). Compacted thickness including shoring and strutting, pumping and bailing out water ( surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated plain cement concrete 1:4:8 ( One cement is to four sand is to eight graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size on ground or under water including pumping or bailing out water( surface and sub soil water), dewatering for all heights /depths and any quantum of water including removal of slush which may arise at the time of laying concrete for all heights/ depths, including the cost of form work and curing for 14 ( fourteen) days complete in Retaining walls and Breast walls etcetera as per drawings and MORD technical specification section 800, 900,1200 and 1600 as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. The rate is including the octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Back filling behind abutments, return walls, wing walls and retaining walls etcetra complete as per drawings and MORD technical specification section1200 and 1600 or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge ,including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. The rate is including octroi, royality ,Malkana, toll tax, GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing 100mm ( One hundred millimetre) diameter poly Vinyl chloride pipe Weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain/reinforced concrete abutments, wing walls return walls and retaining /breast walls etcetra extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1 (V) : 20 (H) (one vertical is to twenty horizontal ) towards draining face complete as per drawings and MORD technical specifications section 700 & 1200 or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. Providing and laying Mechanically mixed and vibrated concrete for plain / reinforced concrete Grade M-15 (M-fifteen) nominal mix 1:2.5:5 (one cement is to two decimal five sand is to five graded crushed stone aggregate40 millimetre (forty millimetre ) nominal size on ground or under water and curing complete for 14 (fourteen) days , in sub structure for all type of structures including pumping or bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) dewatering for all depths and any quantum of water including removal of slush which may arise at the time of laying concrete complete for all heights / depths including the cost of form work complete as per drawings and M.O.R.D. technical specification section 800,900 and 1200 or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads ,lifts and other incidentals. Preparation of sub grade by dressing to camber (Earth work for the cutting involved for sub-grade to be paid for separately in all type of soil completed as per drawing and MORD technical specification section 300 or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of material with in all leads , lifts and other incidental. The rate is including the octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Consolidation of sub grade with power road roller including making good the undulation etcetera with earth or quarry soil etcetera and re-rolling the sub-grade complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification section 300 or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of material with in all leads , lifts and other incidental. The rate is including the octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Construction of granular sub base by providing well graded materials spreading in uniform layers with tractor mount grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method at OMC with tractor mount appropriate rotavator attachment and compacting with three wheel 80-100 (eighty -one hundred) kN static roller to achieve the desired density, as per MORD Technical Specifications section 400 as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. The rate is including octroi, royality ,Malkana, toll tax, GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 ( eighty - one hundred) kN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber applying and brooming, stone screening type-"B" of size 11.2mm (eleven point two millimetre) nominal size at the rate of 0.20 cubic metre (zero point two zero cubic metre) per ten square metre and binding materials at the rate of 0.06 Cum (zero point zero six cubic metre) to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading-II 63 to 45mm (sixty three millimetre to forty five millimetre) size 75mm (seventy five millimetre) compacted thickness as per MORD Technical Specification section 400 by mechanical means including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing, laying, spreading and compacting to 75mm (seventy five millimetre ) compacted thickness, graded, broken /crushed stone aggregate, for Grading-III, 53mm to 22.4mm (fifty threemillimetre to twenty two point four millimetre) nominal size to water bound Macadam, specification including spreading in uniform thickness using template, hand packing rolling with three wheel 80-100 (Eighty to Hundred) kN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber including applying and brooming stone screening ,type-B, 11.2 mm (eleven point two millimetre ) at the rate of 0.18 (Zero point one eight) cubic meter per 10 square metre(ten square metre) fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to required density Grading-III as per MORD technical specifications section 400 by mechanical means or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and applying primer coat with Bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface with hydraulic brooms and spraying primer at the rate of 0.85 kg. ( zero point eight five kilogram) per Square Metre) using mechanical means bitumen emulsion pressure distributor complete as per MORD technical Specification section 500 or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.275 Kg. (zero point two seven five kilogram) per square metre on prepared granular surfaces treated with primer and cleaned with Hydraulic brooms as per drawing & MORD Technical Specification section 500 or as directed by the engineer-in-charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.The rate is including the octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20mm (twenty millimetre) compacted thickness composed of type-"A" 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm ( Thirteen decimal two millimetre to five decimal six millimetre ) aggregate at the rate of 0.27 cum (zero decimal two seven cubic metre) pre-mixed with bitumen binder grade VG-10 (Viscosity Grade ten) at the rate of 14.6 kg. (fourteen decimal six kilogram) per ten square metre of to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing and heating binder and aggregate in suitable hot mix plant 30/40 (thirty / forty ) tonne per hour capacity transporting mixed materials with tipper and laying with paver finisher to required grade and camber and rolling with three wheel 80-100 (eighty - hundred ) KN static road roller finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of type-”B” complete as per MORD Technical Specification section 500 including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying seal coat for sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type B with bitumen grade VG-10 (Viscosity grade ten) at the rate of 6.8 Kg. (six decimal eight kilogram) premixed with 0.06 (zero decimal zero six) cubic metre of fine aggregate per ten square metre premixed in mini hot mix plant, transporting mixed material with tipper and laying of mixed materials manually and rolling with three wheel 80-100 (eighty- hundred ) KN static roller complete as per MORD Technical Specification section 500 including carriage of materials within all leads,lifts and other incidentals.
