Material and labour for repairs to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1.0 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc., cutting around edges to at least 40mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminuous primer @ 5 kg per 10 sqm, putting in premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete, 40 mm consolidated thickness, using paving bitumen of Grade VG-30, with 5.5% of binder content by weight of total mix, laid/ rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient, depth of potholes exceeding 30mm complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for repairs to potholes exceeding 30mm depth, not exceeding 1.0 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 40mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 as binder content 4% by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 Sqm and not exceeding 50mm depth including removing to a distance not exceeding 50m complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exceeding 400 Sqm exceeding 50mm and not exceeding 100 mm depth including removing to a distance not exceeding 50m complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam (WBM) surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc., and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 Kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen of Grade VG-10 complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparing old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 Kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen of Grade VG-10 complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for premixed bituminous macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 as binder content 4% by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete, 40 mm consolidated thickness, using paving bitumen of Grade VG-30, with 5.5% of binder content by weight of total mix, mixed with 8-10 % plastics granules recycled from waste plastics of appropriate quality and specifications as per the Indian Road congress (IRC) and guidelines laid down in the road constructions Deptt of Andaman and Nicobar Islands mixed with using Hot Mix plant, laid by Mechanical paver, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Plastic granules will be measured and paid under supply only under Ser item No.9 here in after (ii) Any variation in the qty of bitumen from standard design mix i.e., with 5.5% binder content while adding plastic granules will be measured deducted from the supply only Bitumen under Item No. 10 here in after.

Supply only plastic granules ready for use from recycled process including collection, segregation, shredding and drying complete all as directed by Engineer - in - charge.

Supply only bitumen binder grade VG-30 as approved all as specified and as directed. Note :- This item shall be operated for adjustment for any variation in the qty of bitumen from the standard design mix with 5.5% binder content while adding the recycled plastic granules and will be measured and deducted from the bitumen content of standard design mix as applicable.

Supply and erect galvanised 'Three' or "W" shaped metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3mm thick galvanised corrugated sheet metal beam railing of 504 mm width (overall) secured with bolts to 504 mm galvanised vertical channel section of size 150x75x5mm fixed on vertical galvanised channel section post of size 150x75x5mm, 900mm above GL and 600mm below GL at every 2m c/c including 06 Nos 50mm long and 18mm dia nut, bolts and washers (03 bolt for channel to channel connection and 03 bolts for channel to beam railing connection at every 2m) complete including excavation in post holes of size 300x300x750mm and cement concrete 1:3:6, type C-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, fillings, removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and making good the existing surface including taking down old unserviceable crash barrier of any type complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix road side flexwel delineator (Reflector) as per approval model made of higly flexible material (restores back to their erect posture even after being hit by a speeding vehicle without damaging them) fitted with 100mm PMMA reflector which emit excellent reflection during night time, overall height of the reflector shall be of 1.1 metre and of reflector colour Amber, red or white as approved by GE. Make: Dark Eye model No. DA 952 FX 3M/ Tata Solar BP or equivalent as approved by GE.

Fixing only bi-directional sparking solar road studs working on high efficiency crystaline silicon solar cells, installed using epoxy adhensive all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge. Note : Solar road studs shall be issued under Sch "B' for free for fixing

Fixing only poly carbonate convex mirror outdoor type 1200/1000mm dia and fixed to 1000/2000mm reflective pole, (embedded in PCC) complete including excavation in post holes of size 300x300x300mm and cement concrete 1:3:6, type C-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, fillings, removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and making good the existing surfaceall as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Poly carbonate convex mirror with reflective pole shall be issued under Sch "B' for free for fixing

Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth; for foundations, laying of pipe and cables etc or for shafts, well cess pits, manholes, pier holes not exceeding 10 sqm on plan, including dressing/trimming sides and levelling/grading and ramming bottom of excavation and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cement concrete 1:3:6, type C-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge

Material and Labour for precast cement concrete solid block masonry with solid blocks using cement concrete 1:3:6, type C1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate), exc. 10 cm in width, set in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soils) to a distance exceeding 1.50 KM but not exceeding 5.0 KM and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on concrete surfaces, finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement base paint over a coat of alkali resistant primer paint complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for applying retro-reflective thermoplastic paint, 2.5mm thick, width and shade/colour as directed in road marking strips or any other pattern using hot thermoplastic material by fully automatic applicator machine, the machine shall be fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propene tank heaters and profile shoe heater, driven by skilled operator on road surfaces and spreading/dispensing glass beads over the painted surfaces immediately when the surface is hot for better binding at the required rate, all including cleaning the road surface off all dirt, scales, oil, grease and foreign materials etc, complete all as per manufacture's instructions and all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in - Charge.
