Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 30 Mtr. Long Sports Mast manufactured from B.S.E.N 10025 or equivalent grade material in, 3 (three) section hot dip, galvanized inside and outside in single dip, The mast sections shall be manufactured from M.S. sheets conforming to BSEN 10025, S355 J0 or equivalent, cut and folded to form a continuously tapered polygonal section having maximum one longitudinal weld. The welding shall comply IS 9595. Masts shall be delivered in three sections of approximately 10.7 m which shall be assembled at site by slip-stress-fit method. The minimum overlap distance shall be 1.5 times the diameter at penetration. There will be no circumferential welding in any section. No site welding or bolted joints in the mast sections will be allowed suitable for wind velocity as per IS 4759 loading fully motorized motor 3 phase 415 volt min 3 HPwith starter & cable 5 core x4sqmm, 2 no. trailing cable permanent for 2 circuit complete along with standard accessories Mast base section will have a lockable door of size 1200mm X 300mm for easy access to winch and power tool operations and provided with 2 no. 4 way SPN MCB enclosure with 2 no. TPN MCB 16A. each. Bottom of door shall be 500mm above the top of the base plate. M.S. fabricated hot dip galvanized housing using IS2062 grade steel accommodating CA pulleys with stainless steel pins for the suspension of wire ropes and the electrical cables. Pulleys are grooved suitably to ensure that the wire ropes/cables do not get dislodged from their positions while raising / lowering. Self-lubricating bearings and stainless steel shaft shall be provided for smooth and maintenance free operation throughout the mast life. The head-frame shall be made in three compartments placed 120 degree apart for most optimum balancing of lantern carriage. Head frame shall have top canopy to protect the mast from entry of water / solid particles etc from the top. Top canopy shall have provision for fixing lightning arrestor of suitable design. LANTERN CARRIAGE A fabricated MS hot dip galvanized lantern carriage shall be provided for mounting of luminaires 500W LED flood light 20 Nos. The luminaire arms shall be welded or bolted to the carriage as per bidder’s design. The lantern carriage shall be made of steel pipes. The flanges shall be jointed at site by stainless steel bolts and nuts. Inner side of the lantern carriage shall have a PVC guide ring to protect the mast surface while raising and lowering of the lantern carriage. The diameter of the lantern carriage shall be of size approximately 1000 mm-1100 mm to accommodate 20 LED light fittings in four tiers and for this double lantern ring will be required. The lantern ring should be fabricated with pipes/channels on the front and back side to get a flat mounting of 20 LED luminaires to take load of luminaires and equal counter weight on other side . The length of the bars should be suitable to mount the LED luminaires. The Double lantern carriage will have top ring at approximately 29.8 m and the second ring will be at approximately 28.5 m. 2 junction boxes shall be provided on the lantern carriage for connecting the luminaries and the trailing cables. A suitable PVC/Hylam BOARD shall be provided at the base of the mast at door level. This will have an MCB of suitable rating for the lighting load of the mast. The MCB will terminate the in-coming supply cable and can be used as a local isolator during maintenance work. Each High mast shall have a weather proof control panel for switching ON and OFF of the luminaires. The control panel is placed at a distance of about 3 m from the mast centre. The control panel shall have provision for operation of the power tool. The control panel should contain an Incomer 4 pole MCB of 63 A rating. The lighting control should be through 2 nos. of 32A contactor, for switching ON and OFF the lights 2 nos. of pushbutton sets shall be provided. For power tool operation there should be 2 nos. of 9 A contactors and suitable overload relay. (Panel to be placed in existing MS pedestal including required material for connection / inter connection with High mast).Two nos. of push buttons shall be provided in the panel for the operation of ‘RAISING’ and ‘LOWERING’ with 16 Nos. foundation bolts & foundation size as per company design supplied by the manufacturer with 2 / 3nos. steel wire rope grade AISI 316, 7/19 Con. dia 8mm, double drum system for safe working load not less than 1500 Kg. and twin dome aviation light with LED including cost of suitable RCC (M-20) foundation as per standard design recommended by manufacture taking soil bearing capacity 4 ton wind speed 180Km per hour including shuttering, bar binding fixing of foundation bolts reffiling the etc. to complete the job in all respect upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge as per standard design duly approved by structure engineer. Thickness of the mast shall have a minimum top OAF of 200 mm and minimum bottom OAF OF 725mm. Bottom section shall be of 6 mm, Middle section shall be 5 mm and top section shall be of 5 mm Base plate size 925x38x38mm thick.Thickness of Galvanization = Top = 65micron (Min.) middle = 75micron Bottom = 86micron (Min.)
