Earth work in embankment by manual means by truck carriage in ordinary/normal soil excluding sandy and rocky soil free from roots & vegetation and filling in uniform layers not exceeding 25 cm thick including ploughing or roughening or benching the seats, removing all debris, breaking clods up to 4cm cube, dressing as per design section, etc. complete as directed.(10% deduction will be made from the section measured quantities of the completed and compacted on account of shrinkage ) For initial lead up to 1 Km and for all lifts

For every Km extra lead beyond initial lead of 1 Km & up to 10 Km. (Distance = 9 km)

For every Km extra lead beyond initial lead of 10 Km & up to 20 Km. (Distance = 10 km)

Labour for ramming with cast iron rammer to proper compaction including watering if necessary, etc. complete as directed. Ordinary soil

Collection of sand gravel from approved quarry containing 60% sand and 40% gravel free from disintegrated and flaky pieces of vegetation and other deleterious matters, adherent coating etc. including stacking in suitable stacks at quarry site etc. complete as directed.

Labour charge for laying of soling stone, brick bats, broken stone metal, sand gravel etc. on approach road including ramming dressing the seat and local carriage of materials up to a distance of 60 m complete as directed.

Turfing with grass sods of largest possible rectangles of 12 cm. minimum thickness placed closely includingdressing earth pegging with Jati bamboo split, watering till the grass grows for a lead up to 90 m and all lifts, etc. complete as directed.

Construction of whole bamboo single palisading with matured Jati bamboo stacks 7.5cm to 100 mm dia.,15 cm clear apart 1.20m to 1.80m above ground and 1.00m to 1.20m below ground with Jati bamboo inclined struts fixed 1.2m to 1.5m apart tied with three rows of horizontal half Jati bamboo kamies with cane/wire of 16G to 18 G etc. complete as directed. (Using Bhaluka Bamboo at the rate of 8.67 nos./Rm &Jati Bamboo at the rate of 2.40 nos./Rm)

Earth work in excavation of drainage channel to the proper grade and slopes as required including disposing the excavated debris/soil to a safe distance of minimum 50 m distance, etc. complete as directed. For lead upto 50 m and all lifts. Wet & Sticky Soil

Collection of blasted boulder of size 23cm. to 30cm in average and minimum weight 30Kg having i. Specific gravity not less than 2.65, ii. Aggregate Chrushing< 30% (Wearing) &< 45% (Non - wearing) iii. Impact Value(%) max <30% (Wearing) &< 45% (Non - wearing) and iv. Abrasion Value(%) <30% (Wearing) &< 50% (Non - wearing) (Materials conforming to IS 2386 part III & IV 1963) and free from dust, dirt and other foreign materials including local carriage and stacking in regular measurable stacks of approximate 1 (One) m. height at site, etc. complete as directed. (10% under sized (minimum 10 cm) boulder is allowable for packing/filling the gaps occurred during execution of works). (15% deduction will be made from the stack measured quantities on account of void)

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for : Retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses fillets, kerbs and steps etc.

Providing concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawings and technical specifications Clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 (A) With crushed Stone (II) P.C.C grade M 15, Nominal mix 1:2.5:5 (Hand mixing)

Supplying, fitting and placing TMT IS:1786 (Fe 500) bar reinforcement in sub-structure complete as per drawing and technical specifications TMT-IS 1786 ( Fe-500 D) Primary Producer (TATA/ SAIL/ Esser Steel/ Jindal panther steel/ Shyam steel or equivalent)

Clearing of garbage, derbies and waste materials from the drainage channel up to a depth of 0.60m along bed and bank slopes of the channel including carriage of the spoils to a safe distance up to 100m and stacking in measurable stacks etc. complete as directed.

Local carriage of boulder, metal, gravel/sand etc. from the approachable site beyond 150m and up to 3.00Km from the work site including loading from stack and unloading at work site with 10 (ten) ton capacity truck, supplying P.O.L. etc. complete as directed.

Labour charge for laying and pitching boulder of 23 cm to 30cm size ( man size) including dressing the seat, ramming to proper size & slope, properly hand packed including site carriage of boulder from tacks within a distance of 150m etc. complete as directed..

Construction of temporary blockade of size 0.75m X 0.40m by earth filled cement bags supported with Bholuka bamboo pallasiding at both sides in the bed of channel for draining water through a restricted path at the time of re-sectioning/construction of fundations of flood walls etc. including driving of bamboo posts 0.80m above ground and 1.00m below ground at 0.30m clear apart, tying with one row half Jati bamboo kamies and removing of the blockade after completion of the work etc. complete as directed.

Providing and laying parapet with PCC M 15 as per drawing & technical specifications Clauses 800 and 1208.4 (A) With crushed stone (ii) Nominal mix (1:2.5:5)

12 mm cement plaster of mix. 1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand)

Providing foot bridge of 1.00 m width with Bhaluka Bamboo (7.5 cm to 10.0 cm) post of 2.00 nos. in a row @ 2.4 m apart driven 1.2 m below ground and 1 m above ground with 2 nos. long beam placed over two lines of posts and a pair of half Bhaluka Bamboo collar tied together with the posts including providing bamboo kamies mat on the bridge way including strengthening with half bamboo kamies tied together with long beams with 18 G galvanised wire etc., complete as directed for height up to 1.2 m to be used for movement of labour/staff during execution of work. (Using Bhaluka Bamboo at the rate of 7.0 nos./Rm & Jati Bamboo at the rate of 11.0 nos./Rm)

Earthwork in de-siltation of drainage channel to proper grade and slope up to required section including excavation of side slopes and bed of the channel in marshy /muddy soil, removal of all derbies like decomposed organic matters, plastic garbage, aquatic plants, water hyacinth etc, dewatering by manual means if necessary etc. and removing of the excavated soil and garbage /spoils up to a distance of 100m etc. including all lead and lift complete as directed

Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other structure comprising of masonry, cement concrete, wood work, steel work, including T&P and scaffolding wherever necessary, sorting the dismantled material, disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lifts and lead of 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 202. By Manual Means (c) Reinforced Cement Concrete

Earthwork in excavation for structures as per drawing and technical specificationsClause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removalof stumps and other deleterious material and disposal upto a lead of 50 m,dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling in trenches with excavated suitable material. Laying brick soling layer on prepared sub-grade with brick on end edging according to lines, graded and cross-section shown on the drawing filling joints with sand and earth, preading 25 mm thick layer of earth over brick soling, watering and rolliing the same with three wheel road roller 80-100 kN

PCC 1:3:6 in Foundation (Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 nominal mix in foundation with crushed stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size mechanically mixed, placed in foundation and compacted by vibration including curing for 14 days.)

Stone masonry work in cement mortar 1:3 for substructure complete as per drawing and Technical Specifications. (A) Random Rubble Masonry

Back filling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawing and Technical specification. (A) Granular material.

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for Foundations, footings, bases for columns

Clearing of deposited compact water hyacinth root and other aquatic plants from the bed of drains/channels including cutting, removing and stacking at places away from the bank etc. Complete with all lead and lift etc. complete as directed.
