JOB WORK ORDER FOR SOILINVESTIGATION FOR CONSTRUCTION OF HANGAR ATC AND OPS ROOM FOR FCAB (PH-II OF PH-II PHS) AT MFFR

Soil investigation shall be carried out as per IS-1892 Bore hole dia shall be 150mm. Depth of bore shall be decided as per the soil condition and may be taken 15m or N value reaches 50, whichever is earlier. Note: Under this test preferably following results to be provided: (i) Grain size analysis identification & classification of soil:- (ii) Soil characteristics and unit weight (bulk density), natural moisture content, liquid limit,shrinkage limit, plastic limit, plasticity index, specific gravity. (iii) Value of cohesion and angle of internal friction and Dry penalty, degree of saturation of soil. (iv) Free seling index & seling pressure in expansive soil is encountered. (v) Shear parameters (C-Q analysis). (vi) Consolidation test & permability test. (vii) Depth of water label below ground level. (viii) Presence of loose soil, if any and its depth. (ix) If weak soil with lesser N value as specification in table 1 of IS 1893 (part) 2016 is encountered then evaluation of liquefaction potential shall be assessed and remedial action to be adopted shall be specified. (x) SPT test shall be done at 1.0m interval. (xi) Recommendation for filling under floor and filling under protection including plinth protection. (xii) For open foundation, calculation of net SBC at 1.5m, 2m, 2.5m, 3.0m, 3.50m from sheet as well as settlement criteria. SBC values shall be calculated based on C-Q analysis as well as SPT value. Test for C-Q analysis will be carried out at site. For calculation formula given IS 6403 shall be used. (xiii) If pile foundation are required the depth of pile shall be mentioned and pile capacity in compression, uplift & lateral load shall be given for 300, 400, 450, 500 dia for under reamed piles & 450, 500, 550, 600mm dia for long piles. (xiv) Recommendation regarding type of foundtion to be adopted & net SBC/pile capactity to be adopted. Also recommendation shall be give regarding stability of soil stablization required, if any. (xv) Recommended SBC at different depths of foundation seperately for the portions with and without basement. (xvi) Borehole position duly marked on plan and their distance form adjacent prominent reference points. Plan size of bldgs shall also be marked in the plan. Recommendation of footing at deferent depth i.e. 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3 & 2.5 M. (xvii) SBC and its calculation based on 'n' valu, shear strength and settlement criteria. Bore log detail shall be as per Appx 'D' of IS 1892 N values depth wise shall also be shown in bore log details. Bore log details shall be signed by soil consultant. Details of soil profile and bore logs also required. (xviii) Colour photograph on A4 size photo paper of the site with the locations of the boreholes duly flagged should be any reference structure and the identifiaction of the same be marked. (xix) Modulus of sub grade reaction of Raft/Mat foundation. (xx) Depth of expansive soil and its properties, if any. (xxi) Undisturbed soil sample shall be collected at 1.5m interval and at change of strata

Test for chemical characteristic of soil in foundation at depths of 0.5m, 1.0m, 1.5m & 2m for presence of salnity and other harmful chemicals if any which may affect the foundation concrete if used for RFR in foundation. Note :- A CD containing video evidence of depth of each borehole and machinery deployed at site location with be provided which is inclusive in above quoted rate
