Note :The unit rate quoted by the tenderer under Col No (13) of Sch `A’ (BOQ) unless specifically mentioned otherwise such as labour only/fixing only, for all items of works shall be deemed to be including cost of all materials, labour, tools and plants, testing and commissioning of work in position complete as required for entire completion of work.

Excavation in trenches in soft loose soil n. exc. 1.5m deep and n. exc. 1.5m in width and getting out including forming bottom surface to required slope/ gradient for laying cables/ pipes etc. , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge. Note: Excavation shall be done carefully to avoid damage of existing pipe line,cable and protection covers.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick each, excavated soil in trenches after the pipe have been laid and tested, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50 meter above the starting point , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Steel water tubing, 15 mm bore medium grade ISI Marked, galvanized inclusive of all fittings such as nipple,bends, Tees, unions, elbows, reducers and sockets etc. laid in trenches in and including taking up or down existing unservicable tubing including all fittings and connections, cleaning for re fixing or removal to store, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note for item No.4 to 6: Fittings & specials as required shall be provided by the contractor. Contractor's rate shall be deemed to include the cost of fittings provided.

Cutting of existing 15 mm bore, ‘medium grade’, galvanized tubes, for alteration or additions (each cut measured) providing threads etc for taking out new connection by inserting of all fittings such as nipple,bends, Tees, unions, elbows, reducers and sockets etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting of existing 20 mm bore, ‘medium grade’, galvanized tubes, for alteration or additions (each cut measured) providing threads etc for taking out new connection by inserting of all fittings such as nipple,bends, Tees, unions, elbows, reducers and sockets etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting of existing 25 mm bore, ‘medium grade’, galvanized tubes, for alteration or additions (each cut measured) providing threads etc for taking out new connection by inserting of all fittings such as nipple,bends, Tees, unions, elbows, reducers and sockets etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Gun metal glove or gate valves, class-II ISI marked (IS:778) with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed of size 15mm dia in and including taking up or down old unservicable gate valve , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge Note for item No.10 to 12 : Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid separately under appropriate item of this BOQ where ever required.

Plain cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in mass concrete in making good to damaged portion of road/ hard standing in and including demolition of unreinforced cement concrete in ground floors and paving n.exc 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) and removal of rubbish outside MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
