SCH "A" PART-I (DG SET AND ALLIED WORKS)

Supply, install, test and commissioning of accoustic proof AMF type diesel engine driven generating set fully wired, 415V, +5%, AC 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz having capacity 250 KVA continous rating power factor 0.8 (lagging), connecting as per IE rules and mouted on a common base plate with anti vibration pad including necessary four wheel trally as recommended by the manufacturer all as specified and directed. The DG set shall comprise of following :- . The diesel engine will comprise of following:-

(A) Diesel Engine - The engine should be six cylinder,liquid cooled, turbocharged with after cooler, developing 310 HP @ 1500 RPM. 6SL1500TA G3 is inline, electric start, compression ignition, 4 stroke, designed to run continuously at 1500 RPM confirming to IS 10002, ISO-3046, BS 5514 strandard. Diesel Engine will comply with present CPCB -II norms

(B) Alternator, The alternator shall be designed for an output of 250KVA suitable for continuous operation rated at 1500 rpm 415 V, 0.8 PF, 50Hz, 3Ph in SPDP enclosure, self exicted & self- regulated, Brush less, floor mounted with Ball or Bearing on end shields. The alternator conforms to IS : 4722, BS EN 60034-1 & will be suitable for tropical condition. Make;- KIRLOSKAR/ ALSTOM/STAMFORD/JYOTI/ CROMPTON GREAVES.

(C) Electric system : The electric system of the starter motor and charging alternator shall have the following components:- (i) Charging alternator 12V, DC (ii) Voltage regulator built in type IC regulated (iii) Starter motor 12 volts DC (iv) Battery 12 volts DC and capacity 150 AH 02 nos with one set of connecting leads of 70 Sqmm size copper cable.

(D) Fuel tank (Service tank) : The fuel tank shall be mild steel suitable to hold 460 ltrs capacity and shall be inlducing fuel level indicator duly marked to read 10 ltrs per division fuel line from tank to engine arrangement for fuel filling fuel drain out facility etc. compelte all as specified.

Supply and fix cable XLPE Insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armored, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 300 sq mm 4 core with bothe end sitable lugs all as specified as directed by Enge in charge.
