M&L for premix bituminous macadam mixed laid with mechanical paver and 8 to 12 tonne power roller and compacted to required gradient and camber (Consolidated thickness 75mm or less) with paving bitumen 4% binder (viscosity grade VG-30) contents complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- (i) Work shall be executed as per designed mix (job mix formula) approved by GE. (ii) If the bitumen content as per design mix found to be less than 4%, it shall be recovered at the rate of Rs 60/- per Kg for short of bitumen. M&L for cleaning and preparing the road surfaces for road marking with reflective thermoplastic white/yellow road marking paint conforming to BIS 3262, laid through road marking machine in a layer painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on roads, pavements and the like exceeding 10 cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow of CRYSTALEX, using 5 Kg material per square meter by incorporating the white glass beads for reflectivity in 100 mm width.etc complete all as specified & directed.
M/L for preparation of newly plastered / stone kerbs/concrete surfaces of any description, over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of wall primer etc complete all as specified and directed.
Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and fixing of retro-reflectorized cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign made of 1.5mm thick aluminum sheet / 3mm aluminum composite material, face to be fully covered with class B Type-IV High Intensity Micro Prismatic Grade Sheeting as defined in IRC: 67-2001 having approved massages e.g. letter numerals, symbols/ legend/ arrow etc. in regional and/or Hindi and/or English as per drawing and technical specifications for road and bridge works (fourth Revision). The sign plate will be fixed with minimum 6mm dia aluminum rivets back supported on a mild steel angle iron frame 35x35x5 mm and one vertical mild steel post of NB 65 dia pipe (height from crown level of the road and bottom of the sign board shall not be less than 2.10m) firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M-15 PCC 45cmx45cmx60cm below ground level as per approved drawing including painting on vertical post as per specification as followings
(a) S&F triangular 900mm more colours road traffic signs complete all as specified and directed.
(b) S&F octagon 900mm side complete all as specified and directed.
(c) S&F object hazard (30cmx90cm) Hazard marker board complete all as specified and directed.
Supply & installation of Geocell having cell height 75mm on the sides of embankment for slope protection securing adjoining cells at suitable intervals by using steel staples (min 3 staples per joint), securing these expanded cells to the slope using J-Hooks at 1m C/C in both directions, tightening these geocells by using high strength PET Tendons at horizontal spacing of 1m C/C, anchoring the bottom edges in toe wall & top edges in trench on shoulder by excavating a trench of size 350mm wide x 450mm deep and infilling the trench with GSB material and finally infilling the whole arrangement by 100mm top soil & applying vegetative doob grass for turfing complete all as per specifications of IRC SP: 59-2019 and as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply & installation of Geocell having cell height 75mm in pavement on the top of subgrade as per typical X- section, securing adjoining cells at suitable intervals by using steel staples (min 3 staples per joint), securing these expanded cells to the subgrade using J- Hooks at 1m C/C in both directions, tightening these geocells by using high strength PET Tendons at horizontal spacing of 1m C/C, complete all as per specifications of IRC SP: 59-2019 and as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note For item No. 35 & 36:- 1. All the material & installation process to be strictly as per specifications of IRC: SP-59: 2019. 2. Rate quoted shall be inclusive of all the material labour & equipment’s necessary for satisfactorily installation. Top soil can be obtained from excavation items in schedule.
3. Geocell shall be made of perforated textured HDPE, stabilized with Carbon Black whose density shall be 0.935 -0.965 g/cm3 in accordance with ASTM D1505. ESCR shall be minimum 5000hrs in accordance with ASTM D1693 and UV Stabilization with Carbon Black content should be minimum 1.5% by weight as per ASTM D1603. Long term peel strength should be in accordance with EN-ISO-13426-1, Method B. The Polythene strips sheet thickness shall be minimum 1.5mm, measured as per ASTM D5199, with a textured surface density of 22 to 31 per cm2. All other specification shall conform to relevant clauses/tables of IRC SP-59: 2019. 4. Staples used for securing adjoining cells shall be heavy duty galvanized steel 25mm wide x 25mm long, 1.40 x 1.60mm wire diameter. 5. J-Hooks used in installation shall be galvanized iron having 8mm dia 450mm long steel bar having curve of 75mm. 6. Tendons used shall be nylon cable ties having 6mm dia. 7. The work will be measured & paid as the number of sqm of slope protection satisfactorily furnished and installed excluding overlaps. 8. Make of the same items shall be approved by Accepting Officer
M&L for Reinforced concrete pipes, class NP3, laid and jointed complete with collars of size 600mm bore of pipe complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- PCC laying/bedding shall be measured and paid in respectively item)

Note:-(i) The concrete pit shall be of PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, 40 mm thick pre-cast cover slab of RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate with suitable handle shall be provided in lieu of cast iron cover shown in electrical plate No.3 of MES SSR Part-I. (ii) Item includes the cost of GI pipe for protection of earth strip including earth strip up to 7.5 Metre. (iii) Any variation of GI pipe and GI strip below or above 7.5 metre shall be adjusted through deviation. (iv) Earth electrode shall be surrounded by adequate quantity of charcoal dust and salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm on all sides.
