Clearance of shoulders of air field by cutting grass, vegetation, shrubs, bushes, small trees etc using tractor with mulcher (ISO certified) on hourly basis including provision of tractor with mulcher, driver and one unskilled labourer per tractor from 0800 hrs onwards and removal of rubbish ( cut grass, vegetation, shrubs, bushes, small trees etc) from the area of runway and taxi track where directed complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Notes :- (i) Tractor with mulcher and labour shall report at ATC daily to get directions from ATC authorties for carrying out work. Working hours will be accounted from the actual starting time of work at site and not from the time of reporting of tractor at ATC/site. (ii) Contractor can be directed to provide plougher /leveller (kraha)/trolley with tractor in lieu of mulcher as per users'/site requirements. (iii) Log book shall be maintained by ATC authorities for every tractor with mulcher indicating the working hours of tractor with time, date and location and shall be signed by contractor or his representative, representative of ATC and concerned JE Civil. The log book shall be produced alongwith every RAR duly signed by all concerned as stated above for technical check. In the autumn season i.e. Sep to Dec or any other period during the currency of contract when there is no growth of grass, vegetation, shrubs, bushes, small trees etc, the cutting and removal of the same shall only be done with written orders of users, if required at site. (iv) The cut grass/vegetation/shrubs/bushes etc shall be sweeped with brooms from the area of runway and taxi track immediately after cutting. (v) Contractor shall provide minimum 03 Nos tractors with mulchers daily as per users requirement. He shall also provide one unskilled labour per tractor alongwith required T&P to ATC. In case the contractor fails to provide the requisite machinery alongwith labour within three days of written/verbal/telephonic demand, a penalty @ Rs.3000/- per day per tractor with mulcher and Rs 525/- per labourer per day shall be recovered from the cotractor.Contractor or his representative shall attend promptly the telephonic/verbal instructions of concerned staff at any time
