REPAIR/MAINT OF LT CABLE JOINT, SERVICE CONNECTION AND OTHER

Excavation in trenches in soft & loose soil not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and not exceeding 1.5 mtr width and getting out soil including forming bottom surface to required slope/gradient for laying cables/pipes etc. all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge including removing cable protection PCC covers/ bricks & stacking serviceable covers / bricks for reuse and disposal of unserviceable covers within 50 m all as directed.

Note : Excavation shall be made carefully in order to avoid damage of existing cables and protection covers

Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers of 25 cm thick after the cables etc. are laid, jointed & tested complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removal of surplus excavated spoil not exceeding 50 Mtr distance and depositing where directed by Engineer-in-Charge at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified.

Material & labour for sand filling with clean dry find sand unwashed including gently punning around cables in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE:- For measurement purpose punned thickness shall be considered as per clause 19.75 of SSR Part-I

Supplying & Laying Sub Class `B’ bricks old size with axis of the bricks perpendicular to the axis of the cable as in cable protection all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Laying only old retrieved serviceable bricks for cable protection with axis of the bricks perpendicular to the axis of the cable of any description as obtained from dismantling of the cable complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Disconnecting, taking out and removing old existing unserviceable underground, LT cable of any description and in any position complete including taking down protection pipe etc all as specified and directed for the following sizes:

(a) 10 Sqmm to 25 Sqmm any core

(b) 35 Sqmm to 70 Sqmm, 3½ core

(c) 95 Sqmm to 150 Sqmm, 3½ core

(d) 185 Sqmm to 300 sqmm, 3½ core

Laying, jointing and testing XLPE / P.V.C insulated, armoured, heavy duty, aluminum conductor cable 1100 volts grade of any description and any make laid in trenches/ducts, floors, fixed to walls etc. complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge for the following sizes :-.

(a) 10 Sqmm to 25 Sqmm any core

(b) 35 Sqmm to 70 Sqmm, 3½ core

(c) 95 Sqmm to 150 Sqmm, 3½ core

(d) 185 Sqmm to 300 sqmm, 3½ core

(NOTE : (i) Old retrieved cables received in serviceable condition from taking down shall be used in the work. (ii) Additional quantity of LT cable, if any required, for replacing the defective portion of cable retrieved from dismantling /taking out, shall be measerd and paid under relevent item of sch.

(b) 25 Sqmm, 4 core

(c) 35 Sqmm, 3.5core

(d) 50 Sqmm, 3.5 core

(e) 70 Sqmm, 3.5 core

(f) 95 Sqmm, 3.5 core

(g) 120 Sqmm, 3.5 core

(h) 150 Sqmm 3.5 Core

(j) 185 Sqmm 3.5 Core

M&L in repair jointing & testing for provision of straight through joints, heat shrinkable, suitable for XLPE, LT Cable, 1100 Volts grade, for the following sizes of cables all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (MAKE : M.SEAL/DENSON/ MAHINDRA CHEMICALS/3M, REPL)

(a) 10 Sqmm to 16 Sqmm any core

(b) 25 Sqmm to 50 Sqmm, 3½ core

(c) 70 Sqmm to 120 Sqmm, 3½ core

(d) 150 Sqmm to 185 Sqmm, 3½ core

(e) 240 Sqmm to 300 Sqmm, 3½ core

M&L for Boring of hole under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sound technique and necessary machine including HDPE pipe of 150 mm dia sutable for 0.4 mpa working pressure. all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (NOTE : Pipes shall be laid minimum 1.00 mtr below/under existing road surfaces/taxi track / apron /floors etc)

Dismantling and Taking out old unserviceable GI pipe and Supplying, laying & jointing GI water tubing, 40 mm bore,light grade (ISI marked) as in sleeving etc laid in trenches / ducts / horizontal bore hole complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (MAKE : TATA/JINDAL/TT SWASTIK)

Ditto as per item no. 12 above but GI tubing 50 mm bore.

Ditto as per item no. 12 above but GI tubing 80 mm bore.

Ditto as per item no. 12 above but GI tubing 100 mm bore.

Taking down existing LT cable from pole/ LT panel / board/feeder pillar box etc., cutting out over heated / burnt / unserviceable and portion of cable, preparation of cable end of required length retrieved from rings/loops incluiding necessary excavation and earth work all as required at site etc. and fixing and connecting the cable in position properly by providing suitable new aluminium lugs and suitable GI nuts, bolts & washers etc. all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for the following sizes of cable :-

(a) 10 Sqmm to 25 Sqmm cable of any core

(b) 35 Sqmm to 70 Sqmm cable of any core

(c) 95 Sqmm to 150 Sqmm cable of any core

(d) 185 Sqmm to 300 Sqmm cable of any core

S&F in repair new PVC insulated, served with inner seathed pvc tape weather proof stranded aluminium conductor cable twin core 6sqmm size for connecting from overhead conductor complete all as specified & directed.

Supply only PVC electrical insulation tape 25Rm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for hard core broken stone/boulders of gauge n.exc. 63mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n.exc. 15cm thick, to a true surface at the places complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down old unserviceable and S&F flourocent board 8'x2' made out of 24gauge GI sheet and front with acrylic sheet total enclosed with computerized letter writtings of size not less than 100mm as directed by Engr-in-charge and inside with 4' long 2Nos of 18W LED tube light fittings complete with time control switch, MCB & battery backup with timer and board incl writing, with complete service connection of 2.50Sqmm 3core copper seathed cable 10mtr long incl protection pipe service connection from the pole by means of 40mm dia light grade pipe to the board incl excavation, returning filling and removing out surplus soil complete all as specified and directed.
