EXCAVATION AND EARTH WORK

Surface excavation by mechanical means not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation over areas by mechanical means not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- The net qty of excavation after deduction for demolition qty of substructure vide item no 25 & 27 herein after shall only be measured for payment.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick in soft/loose soil by mechanical means complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material soil/rocks/concrete debris within a distance beyond 1.5 km upto total distance of 5 km and depositing where directed at a level not exeeding 1.5m above the starting point by mechanical means complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Surplus soil to be used in filling portion of road.

Removing excavated material soil not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exeeding 1.5m by mechanical means complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for hardcore of broken stone or boulders of gauge n exc. 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and as directed.

CONCRETE WORK

Material and labour for plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) M-25 (Design Mix) using 20 mm graded stone aggregate in walls, retaining walls, basement walls, ballast walls and the like, any thickness above top of footings including attached pilasters and buttresses complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) M-25 (Design Mix) using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations/columns footings, pillars complete all as specified and as directed.

WOOD WORK/FORMWORK

Material and labour for use and waste of formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams and similar work, vertical or to batter for rough finished on flat surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for use and waste of formwork to sides/faces of walls, retaining walls, abutments, parapets and staircase railings and similar work including attached pillasters, buttresses, etc. vertical or to batter for rough finished on flat concrete surface complete all as specified and as directed.

STEEL AND IRON WORK

Material and labour for mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.90 mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixed barbed wire as in razor wire of fencing GI 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia barbed with 2 mm dia bars 75mm spacing and straining and fixed to swan neck angle including securing or tying at crossing with and provision of galvanized mild steel wire, staples or steel pins etc. as per manufacturer instructions or as per shown in drawings complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- each line of wire to be measured.

Supply and fixed razor punched tape concertina coil of dia 1050 mm(before stretch) 50 turns with approx weight 15.20 kg, after expanding the effective coil length 8 running meter per coil, core wire of dia 2.5mm high tensile steel with 0.5mm thick galvanised steel punched tape with 5 clipping points with including galvanised MS stapple/clips complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing framed brackets of angles or tees with web and flanges cut to shape, drilled and countersunk for screw, including bending and welding angles, as necessary, gusset plates, riveting, etc. not exceeding 10 kg each brackets, conforming to Fe.290 Gde-E-165 (brackets over 10 kg each to be measured under 'structural steel') and welding of bolts with angle as necessary cutting, notching for wire, etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing mild steel framed work such as grills, gratings, etc. with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes, framed guard bars, barred iron doors, ladders, framed balusters, walk ways, railings, framework of water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe-290, Gde E-165 complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 25mm thick pre-formed filler for expansion joints complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing RMP sheeting 1.5 mm thick with 1.5 corrugation side lap fixed with coach screw and PVC washer in roof, wall etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

FLOOR FINISHES AND PAVINGS

Material and labour for 75 mm thick plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base floor including necessary formwork complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60 mm thickness, M-35 Grade fixed with grey cement and no pigment including laid over 40mm thick sand cushioning complete all as specified and as directed.

PLASTERING AND POINTING WORK

Material and labour for groove cutting of uniform size 10mm wide and 10mm deep in RCC wall by using mechanical cutter complete all as specified and as directed.

WHITE WASHING AND CEMENT BASED PAINTING

Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surface of wall/column etc. and applying two coats of cement based paint of any shade over a coat of chalk whitening primer complete all as specified and as directed.

PAINTING

Material and labour for preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description, over 10cm width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and as directed.

WATER SUPPLY, PLUMBING, DRAINS AND SANITARY APPLIANCES

Supply and fixing 50 bore UPVC (SWR) pipes, single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints fixed to walls complete all as specified and as directed.

DEMOLITION/DISMANTLING

Demolition of brick work or stone boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, pillars etc. but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework above or below ground level and concrete articles complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description, glass coping in any position above or below ground level including disposing off debris to a distance not exceeding 100m complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling / removing of existing barbed wire of any description/pattern complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Each line of wire shall be measured.

Dismantling / removing of existing concertina coil 600/900/1050 mm size and any description /patterns complete all as specified and directed. Note: Each line of wire shall be measured.
