Chapter-I: Earthwork

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in-charge

Providing and placing in position 100mm thick factory made machine batched & machine mixed Precast RCC Rectangular Covers on drains of footpath of various sizes,of M-25 grade cement concrete for RCC work, including cost of centering, shuttering, reinforcement of 8mm dia TMT bars of Fe 500 grade @ maximum 100mm c/c on both ways , neat cement punning on finished surface, properly encased on all edges with 1.6 mm thick ,100mm wide MS sheet duly painted over priming coat , reinforcement to be welded at edges with MS sheet and providing 2 Nos. 12 mm dia bar for hooks etc i/c cost of cartage ,all leads & lift, handling at site etc. all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge

CHAPTER - III MASONRY WORK:

CHAPTER -IV ALUMINIUM WORK

Providing and fixing aluminium extruded section body tubular type universal hydraulic door closer (having brand logo with ISi, IS : 3564, embossed on the body, door weight upto 36 kg to 80 kg and door width from 701 mm to 1000 mm), with double speed adjustment with necessary accessories and screws etc. complete.

Extra for providing frosted glass panes 4 mm thick instead of ordinary float glass panes 4 mm thick in doors, windows and clerestory window shutters. (Area of opening for glass panes excluding portion inside rebate shall be measured).

Providing and fixing Interlocking deadbolts ISI marked with 6 Levers double action mechanism ( Operable by key from both side of the door ) with Key Hole fixed with key plate with necessary SS screws etc. complete (best make of approved quality).

CHAPTER - V STEEL WORK

Providing and fixing of Hollow metal door at all levels from ISO 9001-2000 certified Manufacturer. All hollow metal general doors with or without vision panel. Pressed Galvanized steel Single /Double leaf to required sizes of approved make . which consists of frame, shutter, infill and finish as detailed below and conforming to IS 277. (a) Door frame shall be Single rebate profile of size 100 x 58 mm Kerb Frame made out of 1.60 mm thick galvanized steel sheet (16 gauge). Frames should be Mitered and field assembled with self tabs. Frames should be provided with back plate bracket and anchor fasteners for installation on a finished plastered masonry wall opening. Once frame installed should be grouted with cement slurry if recommended on the clear masonry opening. (a) Door leaf should be 46mm thick fully flush double skin door with or without vision light. Door leaf shall be manufactured from 1.2 mm (18 gauge) minimum thick galvanized steel sheet. The internal construction of the door should be rigid with steel stiffeners/ pads and reinforcement. The infill material shall be resin bonded honeycomb core. All doors should be factory prepared for receiving appropriate hardware and provided with necessary reinforcement for hinges, locks, and door closers. The edges should be interlocked with lock seam. For pair of doors astragals will be provided as required. Vision light wherever applicable should be as per joinery details with a screw on glass beading on the inside. The glass should be 5mm clear toughened glass. Louvers when recommended should be sight proof and shall be flush fixed on the external surface. (b) All doors and frames shall be finished with polyurethane aliphatic grade paint of approved colour. The door leaf and frame shall have passed minimum 250 hours of salt sprey test. Hot finished welded type tubes

Supplying and fixing of precoated Zincalume/Galvalume sheet roofing of 0.5mm TCT -AZ-150, 550 mpa (Alumunium Zinc Alloy couting of 150 gms, per sqm total on both sides) as per AS: 1397 in cover width of 1000-1020 mm, (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-charge).The end rib shall be designed for anti-capillary action, to avoid any seepage of water through the lateral overlap.The feed material is manufactured out of nominal 0.45 mm Base Metal Thickness (BMT), Hi-strength steel with min. 550 MPa yield strength.The raw material shall be of Tata BlueScope , Jindal. The steel sheet shall be fastened with 25 μm zinc-tin alloy coated, Hex head, self-drilling screw as per AS 3566-2002 Class 3 fasteners of approved make with EPDM washer as per the requirement considering the profile shape and design load.

Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches while transportaion and should be suppplied in single length upto 12meter or as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & fixing of Roof flashing and trims (parapet flashing, transition trims, expansion joint trims and ridge caps) manufactured from same material as roof panels, fixed as per manufacturer recommendation flashing girth up to 600mm.

Providing and erection of Eave Gutters manufactured out of 0.45 mm Base Metal Thickness (BMT), metallic hot dip coated with Zinc/Aluminium alloy (55% Aluminium, 45% Zinc) as per AS 1397 - Zincalume AZ150 (min. 150 gms/sq.mt total on both sides) fixed as per manufacturer recommendation Gutter girth up to1200 mm.

CHAPTER - VI FLOORING

Providing and fixing 18 mm thick gang saw cut, mirror polished, premoulded and prepolished, machine cut for kitchen platforms, vanity counters, window sills, facias and similar locations of required size, approved shade, colour and texture laid over 20 mm thick base cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), joints treated with white cement, mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, including rubbing, curing, moulding and polishing to edges to give high gloss finish etc. complete at all levels. (a) Granite of any colour and shade

Providing and fixing Ist quality ceramic glazed wall tiles conforming to IS: 15622 (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), of approved make, in all colours, shades except burgundy, bottle green, black of any size as approved by Engineer-in-Charge, in skirting, risers of steps and dados, over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) and jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg per sqm, including pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shade complete.

Providing and laying Ceramic glazed floor tiles (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) of 1st quality conforming to IS : 15622 of approved make in colours such as white, Ivory, Grey, Fume, Red Brown, laid on 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 ( 1cement : 4 coarse sand) including pointing the joints with white cement and matching pigment etc., complete.

Providing and laying Polished Granite stone flooring in required design and patterns, in linear as well as curvilinear portions of the building, all complete as per the architectural drawings, with 18 mm thick stone slab over 20 mm (average) thick base of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), laid and jointed with cement slurry and pointing with white cement slurry admixed with pigment of matching shade, including rubbing, curing and polishing etc. all complete as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying Polished Granite stonein risers of steps, skirting, dado and pillars with 18 mm thick marble stone, as per sample of marble approved by Engineer-in-charge, laid on 12 mm (average) thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand) and jointed with grey cement slurry, including rubbing and polishing complete with : Polished Granite stone slab jet Black, Cherry Red, Elite Brown, Cat Eye or equivalent.

Extra for pre finished double thickness ( provide 75 mm wide extra stone strip fixed with approved quality adhesive at nosing end ) nosing to treads of steps of marble stone / Granite stone and finish the nosing properly .

Extra for Providing 2 nos Anti slippery Grooves of size 6 mm x 6 mm in Marble / Granite flooring in treads of steps as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Extra for Granite stone flooring in treads of steps and risers using single length up to 1.8 metre.

Providing and laying C.C. pavement of mix M-25 with ready mixed concrete from batching plant. The ready mixed concrete shall be laid and finished with screed board vibrator , vacuum dewatering process and finally finished by floating, brooming with wire brush etc. complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-incharge.The panel shuttering work shall not be paid for separately (Note:- Cement content considered in this item is @ 330 kg/cum. Excess/less cement used as per design mix is payable/ recoverable separately).

Preparing the concrete floor surface using captive shot blasting machine. Cut open all construction joints to fill with epoxy putty using Nitocote VF or equivalent . Same treatment will carried out to treat shrinkage joints. Providing and applying one coat of Nitoprime 25 or equivalent . Providing and applying Nitoflor SL or equivalent conductive undercoat and over coated with Nitoflor SL or equivalent conductive top coat in 2 mm thick over primed surface at 7.5 sq.mt. per pack and finishing as per Fosroc specification. When measured for surface resistance in accordance with BS 2050 : 1978 (A-1984) and DIN EN 1081, the static Conductive topping including Under coat shall be in the range of 50 - 1000 K Ohms. When tested for static decay as per Federal Test method 101B, Method 4046, the static conductive topping shall take not more than a time of 0.01 seconds to decay with + 5KV peak charge to 0%. The surface resistance of the Conductive undercoat shall be in the range of 3 – 9 K Ohms. Note: Copper strip will be provided to connect earthing point for safe discharge of charges.

62 mm thick cement concrete flooring with concrete hardener topping, under layer 50 mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) and top layer 12mm thick cement hardener consisting of mix 1:2 (1 cement hardener mix : 2 graded stone aggregate, 6mm nominal size) by volume, hardening compound mixed @ 2 litre per 50 kg of cement or as per manufacture’s specifications. This includes cost of cement slurry, but excluding the cost of nosing of steps etc. complete.

Providing of a flexible, homogeneous conductive Vinyl Floor Covering having electrical resistance of 104 < R < 106Ω conforming to (EN 1081) with overall thickness 2.00 mm includes carbon chips and carbon backing of Responsive / Tarkett or equivalent , Installation with Copper Grids. complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

CHAPTER - VII ROOFING

(d) Finishing the surface with 20 mm thick jointless cement mortar of mix 1:4 (1 cement :4 coarse sand) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineerin-charge including laying glass fibre cloth of approved quality in top layer of plaster and finally finishing the surface with trowel with neat cement slurry and making pattern of 300x300 mm square 3 mm deep. (e) The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with water for a minimum period of two weeks for curing and for final test. All above operations to be done in order and as directed and specified by the Engineer-in-Charge :
