CHAPTER - V STEEL WORK
Providing and fixing of Hollow metal door at all levels from ISO 9001-2000 certified Manufacturer. All hollow metal general doors with or without vision panel. Pressed Galvanized steel Single /Double leaf to required sizes of approved make . which consists of frame, shutter, infill and finish as detailed below and conforming to IS 277. (a) Door frame shall be Single rebate profile of size 100 x 58 mm Kerb Frame made out of 1.60 mm thick galvanized steel sheet (16 gauge). Frames should be Mitered and field assembled with self tabs. Frames should be provided with back plate bracket and anchor fasteners for installation on a finished plastered masonry wall opening. Once frame installed should be grouted with cement slurry if recommended on the clear masonry opening. (a) Door leaf should be 46mm thick fully flush double skin door with or without vision light. Door leaf shall be manufactured from 1.2 mm (18 gauge) minimum thick galvanized steel sheet. The internal construction of the door should be rigid with steel stiffeners/ pads and reinforcement. The infill material shall be resin bonded honeycomb core. All doors should be factory prepared for receiving appropriate hardware and provided with necessary reinforcement for hinges, locks, and door closers. The edges should be interlocked with lock seam. For pair of doors astragals will be provided as required. Vision light wherever applicable should be as per joinery details with a screw on glass beading on the inside. The glass should be 5mm clear toughened glass. Louvers when recommended should be sight proof and shall be flush fixed on the external surface. (b) All doors and frames shall be finished with polyurethane aliphatic grade paint of approved colour. The door leaf and frame shall have passed minimum 250 hours of salt sprey test. Rate should include supply and installation of door and hardware set as mentioned in the door and hardware schedule. Supplying and fixing of precoated Zincalume/Galvalume sheet roofing of 0.5mm TCT -AZ-150, 550 mpa (Alumunium Zinc Alloy couting of 150 gms, per sqm total on both sides) as per AS: 1397 in cover width of 1000-1020 mm, (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-charge).The end rib shall be designed for anti-capillary action, to avoid any seepage of water through the lateral overlap.The feed material is manufactured out of nominal 0.45 mm Base Metal Thickness (BMT), Hi-strength steel with min. 550 MPa yield strength.The raw material shall be of Tata BlueScope , Jindal. The steel sheet shall be fastened with 25 μm zinc-tin alloy coated, Hex head, self-drilling screw as per AS 3566-2002 Class 3 fasteners of approved make with EPDM washer as per the requirement considering the profile shape and design load.
Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches while transportaion and should be suppplied in single length upto 12meter or as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Supply & fixing of Roof flashing and trims (parapet flashing, transition trims, expansion joint trims and ridge caps) manufactured from same material as roof panels, fixed as per manufacturer recommendation flashing girth up to 600mm.
Providing and erection of Eave Gutters manufactured out of 0.45 mm Base Metal Thickness (BMT), metallic hot dip coated with Zinc/Aluminium alloy (55% Aluminium, 45% Zinc) as per AS 1397 - Zincalume AZ150 (min. 150 gms/sq.mt total on both sides) fixed as per manufacturer recommendation Gutter girth up to1200 mm.
CHAPTER - VI FLOORING
Providing and fixing 18 mm thick gang saw cut, mirror polished, premoulded and prepolished, machine cut for kitchen platforms, vanity counters, window sills, facias and similar locations of required size, approved shade, colour and texture laid over 20 mm thick base cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), joints treated with white cement, mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, including rubbing, curing, moulding and polishing to edges to give high gloss finish etc. complete at all levels. Providing and laying integral cement based water proofing treatment including preparation of surface as required for treatment of roofs, balconies, terraces etc consisting of following operations: (a) Applying a slurry coat of neat cement using 2.75 kg/sqm of cement admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS. 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge over the RCC slab including adjoining walls upto 300 mm height including cleaning the surface before treatment.
