Excavation in trenches in soft /loose soil not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre deep for laying of cables etc, getting out and forming bottom surface to required gradient complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling including spreading levelling watering and well ramming to excavated soil in layers not exc 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed

Removing excavated material not exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5m above the starting point in soils complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Sand cushioning to cables with a layer of sand before and after laying the cable complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Sand shall be measured after punned down.

Cutting the existing hard standing/metal road to facilitate for laying of GI pipe line / laying of UG cable, and making good the disturbed portion to bring it to original condition with PCC 1:3:6 type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for earthing including testing, commissioning complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600X600X6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5M below normal ground level connected to GI earth lead wire 4.0mmdia by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washer of GI steel and connecting to testing point including provision of test point and all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Pt I. The work is inclusive of necessary earth work and PCC chamber in type B1 (1:2:4) with 8 CTD bar reinforcement both ways at 140 mm bents to centre complete including taken out old earthing complete all as directed . Note: (i) The earth resistance shall be below 1 ohms during testing.

Construction of brick masonary valve chamber of size 600mmx600mmx800mm (internal dimensions) with PCC 1;4;8 foundation 150mm thick brick masonary built in CM 1;6 PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate coping 50mm thick plastering 15mm thick in CM 1:6 to all internal and exposed surfaces inclding excavation and earth work in hard/dense soil including provision of suitable angle frame with MS sheet cover 3 mm thick with locking arrangement embeded in pc coping and painting with two coats of syenthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing the display board (STP treated-Not for drinking purpose) size of board 200x250 mm with MS 3mm thick plate painted with one coat of synthetic enamel white paint. The letter are bold of size 75 mm height to be written front side STP treated water & back side of the board -Not for drinking purpose.The plate welded with 25x25x5 mm thick L angle 1.0 mtr height from floor level,including excavation,fixing in pcc concrate 1:3;6 C1 type using 20 mm aggregate complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting GI pipes and reducing to required length by insersion of Tee / valves before laying pipes in trench / open on wall / floors etc of size 40/50/80 mm dia GI pipe threading and fixing with out any leakage in joints/collers/union/valves and testing complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for maintenance free ring earth including testing, commissioning with minimum four Nos single earth rods each pit consisting of copper coated steel rods of size 17 mm dia 3mtr long 250 microns molecularly bonded, joined with compression couplers filled all around earth enhancing compound should be electrically & thermically conductive as per IEEE 80 2012 clause 14.5(d) must be tested from long term in CPRI & must be ISO certified, interconnecting the pits with 25 mm x 2 mm copper strip/tape with exotherimic welding and connecting up to the ring to achieve the earth resistance value below 0.5 ohm connected with 50 sq mm single core through PVC conduit duly fixed with spacer and saddles and all connected accessories including upt to 7.5RM multistrand PVC insulated copper wire up to equipment room and terminating the wire with 25 mm x 6 mm 300 mm long copper busbar insert in the water proof box suitable box fixed on wall with insulator support. Note: (i) The ring main earth resistance shall be below 1 ohms. (ii) Rate deemed to be inclusive of one HDPE inspection pit of size 30cm x 30 cm x 30 cm depth . (iii) Earth pit is required to be indentified by the specific markers, colour codes (a) Maint free ring earthing pits - Red colour and write proper earthing details all as directed.
