Supply, installation,testing and commissioning of silent Diesel Engine driven generating set 415 volts, 3 phase, 4 wire engine as per IS: 10001/10002 and Alternator as per IS : 13364 complete with foundation (as per OEM design) control panel with necessary meter and sound proof canopy as per CPCB norms of capacity of 320 KVA and derated for high altitude at Leh so as to diliver rated 320 KVA output at site including the following :- Note: 1. The Alternator shall be suitably derating factor for operation at high altitude (above 3,500 meters AMSL), ( delivery laocation- Leh, Ladakh) considering reduced air density and cooling efficiency as per IS: 13364(Part-2) 2. Adquate capacity of Diesel engine as accepted by the Accepting Officer based on manufacturers technical details liquid cooled to drive independently above alternator and after considering derating as per site conditons. (A) DIESEL ENGINE : 08 cylinders, water cooled, turbo charged,1500 RPM under NTP conditions conforming to IS -4722, BS-5000, IEC-34/1, ISO 8528, BS-5514, ISO-3046 with an overload capacity of 10% for 12 Hrs of continuous operation of make Cummins/Kirloskar/Greaves Cotton complete with the following accessories with 24 Volts electrical starting system consisting of 02 Nos 12 Volts 180 AH Batteries and accoustic enclosurer. (a) Radiator with blower fan with guard (b) Pipe coupling for cooling system (c) Coolant inhibitor (d) Filters for fuel/lube oil (e) Fly wheel housing and fly wheel suitable for alternator (f) Engine bearing mechanism in fly wheel housing (g) Shut off coil protection with safeties for LLOP /HWT/ Over speed/high and low DC voltage. (h) Dry type heavy duty replaceable paper element air cleaner with restriction indicator and vacuum indicators . (j) Residential silencers. (k) Stainless steel exhaust flexible bellows. (l) Motor driven priming pump. (m) Electric starter motor (n) Battery charging alternator. (o) Exhaust piping made out of "C" class MS Pipe inclusive of all accessories and hardware, necessary support as per manufacturer’s recommendations to sustain back pressure with rain cap and suitable size lugs as per site requirement. Supply, laying and testing of cable XLPE Insulated ,screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor 240 sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and dirercted. Note :- Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid under respective items.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m in wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for laying of pipe etc and getting out in soft soil, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for sand cushioning with clean dry sand to cables with layer of sand 8 cm before laying of cable and 15 cm thick after laying of cable complete all as specified. Note : For payment purpose punned thickness shall be measureed and paid for.

M & L for providing PCC cable cover class LV type-I of size 250x150x40mm laid in perpendicular to the cable abutting each other all as specified and directed at site.

M & L for returning, filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.(Surplus soil if any shall not be removed but left over the trench)

M & L for removing surplus soil to a distance not exc. 50 M and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 Mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connecting to the galvanised iron strip 32×6mm by means of bolts, nuts , check nuts and washers of galvanized iron and galvanised iron strip protected by provision of GI light grade pipe 40 mm bore including provision of concrete pit made from PCC ( 1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) with 40mm thick cover of RCC 1:2:4 reinforced with XPM (Weight not less than 4 Kg/Sqm) and frame of angle iron 40 x 40 x 6 mm and handle of 6 mm dia MS bar made to shape, GI light grade 20 mm bore pipe for watering perforated at bottom, 1.50 metre long placed on top edge of earth plate, common salt & charcoal filling, with fixing arrangement , funnel, wire mesh and earth work in hard/dense soil , returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metres, all as per electrical plate No 3 and connecting to MCBDB’s earth test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge. Supply & Installation ,testing and Commissioning in replacement of LT Panel cubical type out door floor mounted weather proof totally enclosed, (CPRI approved) factory made and made out of 3 mm thick CRCA powder coated sheet and angle iron complete with bus bar of Aluminium of suitable size for capacity 400 Amps 3 Phase and Neutral 415 Volts 50 Hz mounted on epoxy type insulators with PCC flooring and angle iron base frame complete all as directed by the Engr-in-charge including fallowing accessories:- a) MCCB 630 Amp 4 Pole -1 No for( I/C) b) Change over switch open execution type 630 Amp 4 pole - 01 No c) MCCB 160 Amp cap 3 pole 16 KA 415 Volts - 2 Nos d) MCCB 125 Amp cap 3 pole 16 KA 415 Volts - 1 Nos e) Digital Volt meter with sellector switch(0-500V) - 02 Set f) Digital Amp meter with sellector switch with necessary CT (0-500A) - 02 Set g) LED indicating lamp - 02 Set Note : (i) The Make of Change over and MCCB considered are Havells/Standard/Indo Asian/HPL (ii) The rates deemed to be inclusive of suitable size copper wirinng/copper strips from Main I/C MCCBs to Channge over switch, Change over switch to Main Bus bar and Bus Bar to Outgoing MCCBs complete all as specified and directed. (iii) The design of Panel, Make of complete accessories and drawing of the LT Panel should be submitted by the contractor for pre-approval from the Engineer-in-cfharge before order and execution at site.
