Note: Work shall commence after fixing of initial level through a BOO conveyed by the accepting officer. The BOO will fix the final level as per site requirement.

ROAD WORK

Excavation over areas, not exceeding 1.5m deep and getting out soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting /filling with power roller exc. 8 tonne and n.exc 12 tonne and consolidated to required gradient and camber including watering complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Moorum / red bajari filling in paving /road berms laid in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, spread levelled and rammed to form uniform and consolidated surfaces with and including watering complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Moorum / red bajari 100mm thick filling in pavings/ berms laid in layers n.exc 15cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed to form uniform and consolidated surfaces with and including watering complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Soling (or sub base) of spread thickness 200mm, with broken boulders or quarried stone ( granite,trap or basalt stone) of size 100mm to 50mm, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.

Scarifying or picking graveled, macadam or bituminous macadam exceeding 50 mm and not exceeding 150mm deep surfaces in area not exceeding 400 sqm including removing not exceeding 50m and stacking of useable materials complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 150mm thick (compacted thickness water bound macadam in two layers consisting of 7.5 cm thick (compacted thickness) each layer with coarse aggregate of stone (granite/black trap/basalt), grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) each layer spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed. Note: The unit rate quoted for the item shall be deemed to include for total compacted thickness of 150mm consisting of two layers each of 75 mm thick executed independently.

All as per item sl.no.1.70 here-in-before but except stone/material rate complete all as specified and directed. Note: Stack material obtained from item no. 1.60 here-in-before.

Material and labour for Preparing un-surfaced WBM by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 Kg/10 Sqm using paving bitumen grade of VG-10 complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 50 mm thick premix bituminous macadam over rolled and compacted WBM surfaces/ old bitumen surfaces binder content (paving bitumen grade of VG-30) of 4% by weight of total mix and 1.5% cement filler complete all as specified and directed. Note: The work shall be executed by using hot mix plant & mechanical paver. The rate quoted shall be deemed included for cement filler

Material and labour preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and for applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer over black top surface at 5 kg per 10 sqm using paving bitumen of VG-10 grade complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content (minimum) by weight of total mix (bitumen VG-30) and 2% cement filler, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed. Note: The work shall be executed by using hot mix plant & mechanical paver. The rate quoted shall be deemed included for cement filler.

Material and labour for providing pre cast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 as in kerbs stone (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) set and jointed in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated earth /material to a distance exceeding 50 Mtr and not exceeding 250 Mtr depositing where directed at level not exceeding 1.5Mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated earth /material to a distance exceeding 250 Mtr and not exceeding 500 Mtr depositing where directed at level not exceeding 1.5Mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation and getting out soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation and getting out hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregates) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for walling of random rubble brought upto courses, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted, built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing cement concrete type B1 (1:2:4) (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for flush pointing in cement mortar (1:4) to random or polygonal rubble, uncoursed or brought upto course complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for reinforced concrete pipes of 450mm dia class NP3, laid and jointed complete with collars complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm by using excavated soil complete all as specified and directed.
