Conservation and restoration of Galtaji Temple (Phase - II) at Sawai Madhopur(Unprotected monument) (complete work)

Description of items and specification of work to be excuted.

Provision for making the working space around the Mahal by cutting & uprooting the rank root vegetation i.e, grass, thorny bushes & shurbs etc including disposal of rubbish from around the Mahal complex lead up 200 mtr etc complete.

Demolishing stone rubble masonry manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metre lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge : In lime mortar.

Demolishing lime concrete manually/ by mechanical means and disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer- in-charge.

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

Providing and laying lime concrete of roof terrace & floor portion with 50% composite mortar 1:1:1 lime mortar (1lime:1surkhi : 1coarse sand) and 20mm down gauge brick aggregate including beating with bamboo stick first & then with thaphi till the surface is harden to maintain the proper slope & top surface finishing etc complete in all respect.

R.R. stone masonry with new stone in 1:1:1 lime surkhi mortar (1lime : 1surkhi : 1coarse sand) mixed with adhesive material like Gud, Belgiri and babool gum including curing etc complete.

Replastering of 25 to 30mm average thick lime surkhi plaster in 1:1:1(1 lime : 1 surkhi :1 coarse sand) in two coats mixed with traditional binding/adheshive material i.e. God, Belgiri and Babool gum including cleaning the surface and racking out joints as per original texture and curring etc complete in all respect.

Providing & fixing sand stone slab 100 mm thick (Bijoliya) avg. on roof including filling the joints with lime mortor 1:1:1 (1 lime : 1 brick surkhi : 1 coarse sand) etc complete.

Providing and laying APP (Atactic Polypropylene Polymer) modified prefabricated five layer, 3mm thick water proofing membrane, black finished reinforced with glass fibre matt consisting of a coat of bitumen primer for bitumen membrane @0.40 litre/sqm by the same membrane manufactured of density at 25°C, 0.87- 0.89kg/litre and viscosity 70-160 cps. Over the primer coat the layer of membrane shall be laid using butane torch and sealing all joints etc and preparing the surface complete. The vital physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shall be as under : Joint strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 23°C as 350/300 N/5 cm. Tear strength in longitudinal and transverse direction as 60/80N Softening point of membrane not less than 150°C. Cold flexibility shall be upto -2°C when tested in accordance with ASTM, D-5147. The laying of membrane shall be got done through the authorized applicator of the manufacturer of membrane : 3mm thick

Taking and lowering down and replacement of the broken, cracked & missing chhajja stones by providing & fixing the 50mm thick avg. thickness (Bijoliya stone) including making the grooves & joints and interlocking with S.S. Rod (Nail) and anchoring pin with lime mortar as per original etc complete.

Providing and fixing the red stone flooring 50mm thickness (Banshi Paharpur Quarry) fine chiselled dressed stone flooring over 20mm thick lime mortar 1:1:1 (1lime : 1 C.sand : 1 Surkhi) mixed with colour pigment with joint finished etc complete.

Providing and fixing 40- 50 mm avg thick red sand sone Jali and railing with fine chiselled dressed work with geometrical pattern matching to the original including supply of all material and labour complete in all respect.

Earth work in excavation by manually in foundation including dressing, levelling, ramming of bottom and disposal of surplus excavated soil within a lead of 50 mtr etc complete.

Provision for restoration / underpinning & water tightening by random rubble stone masonry on old structures with lime surkhi mortar 1:1:1 (1 lime : 1 surkhi : 1 C. sand) mixed with adhesive material by collecting /new stones as per original etc. complete

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, upto 7 storey height made with 40mm dia. M.S. tube 1.5m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a servicable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. The elevation area of the scaffolding shall be measured for the payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding with as per directions given by Engineer-in-charge
