REPAIR TO CERTAIN ROAD AND ROAD FURNITURE AT TECH AND AKASH BIHAR AREA, 274 SU, 756 SU, 12 AFH AT AF STN GORAKHPUR

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadum surfaces in area not exceeing 400 Sqm, exceeding 50 mm and not exceeding 100 mm deep complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L 7.5 cm compacted thickness WBM with coarse aggregate (granite, trap or basalt) of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm), spread rolled and compacterd with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to achieve gradient and camber required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Preparing of unsurfaced WBM surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen of grade VG-10 @ 10 Kg per ten square metre complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and filling 100 mm spread thickness of Moorum/Red bajri spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required including scrapping/cleaning of road side berms complete all as specified and as directed .

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, spreading ,watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) but making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings). depth of potholes exc 30 mm all as specified.

M&L applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen of grade VG-10 @ 5 Kg per ten square metre complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L 75 mm or less consolidated thickness premix bituminous macadam using binder paving bitumen grade VG-30 at the rate of 4% of total mix weight by using Hot mix plant for mixing and mechanical paver for laid/rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. Note:-Work shall be executed as per approved design mix from NABL Govt approved lab /Govt Engg College as decided by GE. (ii) Any variation in binder content during design mix at site on plus side shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to the Government.

M&L for preparing black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 kgs per 10 sqm of paving bitumen complete all specified & directed.

M&L Providing bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness with minimum 5.50 % binder content by weight of total mix, using paving bitumen VG-30 using hot mix plant and laid by using mechanical paver, rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Work shall be executed as per approved design mix from NABL Govt approved lab /Govt Engg College as decided by GE. (ii) Any variation in binder content during design mix at site on plus side shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to the Government.

S&F in replacement cat eye reflectiv type of metal body alloy of size 100mmx100mmx20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No DA 972.0 fixed with and including mild steel stud of suitable size complete all as per manufacturer's instruction complete all as specified and directed.
