Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of HT 11 KV, 3 phase 50 Hz, 3 wire, indoor type, horizontal draw out, horizontal isolation type totally enclosed metal clad, prewired, independent type Vaccum Circuit Breaker (VCB) with adaptor Panel to connect with existing VCB including Copper Bus bar, capacity 630 Amp rating, 250 MVA extendable type with modification to connect the existing bus bar with new bus bar, incomer cum Outgoing VCB connection with copper busbar of appropriate capacity duly insulated, motor operated, spring charged having minimum rupturing capacity of 18.4 KA for 1 second, comprising of the following under mentioned accessories including providing suitable foundation for VCB as per manufacturer’s instructions complete all as specified & directed:-

Incoming cum Outgoing:- 01 No (a) Mechanical interlock and automatic safety shutter door. (b) Isolating Plugs. (c) Assembly of three vacuum interrupters complete with epoxy support insulator and self aligning finger type isolating contracts. (d) Hand/Motor 230 Volts AC charged independent spring closing/tripping trip free operating mechanism with manual closing tripling push buttons and mechanical breaker “closed/open” spring charged/discharged indication. (e) Mechanical operation counter. (f) Electrical releases coil of 24 volts DC. (g)Shunt trip coil 24 volts DC. (h) Auxiliary switch. (j) 230 Volts AC single phase strip type heater with toggle switch and thermostat as per manufacturer recommendation – 01 Nos (k) Cable termination 1 x 3 core x 120 sqmm XLPE (Incoming) (l) Digital Ampere Meter flush type 0-100/50 Amps CT Operated with CT having dual ratio 100-50/5+5 (m) Numerical type 3 phase over current and earth fault relay and CT rating 5 Amp operated on auxiliary supply 24 volts to 110 volts AC/DC programmable. (n) On/Off/Trip indications. (o) 3 Phase RYB indication lamp.

(p) Trip circuit healthy indication lamp. (q) Multifunction meter class 0.5 with RS 485 Port. (r) Cable termination box 1 x 3 core x 120 sqmm XLPE (Outgoing) (s) Cubical illumination lamp – 01 (t) Potential transformer ratio three single phase 11 kV/rt 3/110V/rt 3 class 0.5-3, with burden 50 VA and insulation level 28/75 conforming to IS-3156 (u) Battery Power Pack with 07 AH battery and inbuilt charger for 24V circuit. (v) Resin cast CT of ratio 100-50/5+5 class 1.0, 5P,10 burden 15VA as IS) Notes:- (i) Rate of cutting in existing VCB, modification of existing busbar for matching with new busbar will be included in the quoted rate. (ii) The drawings in respect of VCB shall be approved by GE through Engineer-in-charge & when requested by contractor before placing order to manufacturer. (iii) VCB shall be tested by representative of Accepting Officer at factory premises before dispatch as & when requested by contractor. (iv) The testing and commissioning of the VCB shall be carried out in presence of Electrical Inspector as & when requested by contractor. (v) The cost of all above factors deemed to be included in quoted rate.

Supply, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning of High Tension (HT), 11000Volts (earthed) grade, XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor of size 3 core 120Sqmm underground cable including both side connection with cable lugs etc, laid in trenches, along poles or passing through pipes or laid under floor or through walls etc., complete all as specified and directed. Note: Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning and precast concrete cable cover for protection of cable shall be measured and paid separately.

Excavation in trenches soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth for foundation of pole, laying of cable and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Sand cushioning for underground cable 8 cm below and 15 cm above the cable with clean dry river sand in trenches including spreading, leveling etc. complete all as directed. Note: Punned down thickness 18 cm shall be measured and paid.

Supplying and laying factory made unreinforced precast concrete cable cover HV type-1, flat, of size 300x180x40mm, laid flat and dry in trenches over the cable for protection, length perpendicular to the direction of cable adjacent to each other, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtrs and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5mtrs above the starting points complete all as spcified and directed.

Returning and filling in excavated soil including spreading levelling, watering and well ramming in layers each not exceeding 25mm thick in soft/loose soil all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded aggregate as in flooring for GOD /VCB panel etc including form work complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for indoor end termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 120 to 185 sq mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600mmx 600mm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5mtr below normal ground level, earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick packed alternate layers of charcoal dust and common salt, electrode connections using galvanised iron strip of size 25mm x 4mm thick (upto body of equipment) by means of bolts, nut check nuts and washers earth strip protected by galvanized steel pipe 40mm bore (medium grade) connected to test point all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR - 2009 (Part-I) and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, 20mm bore medium grade GI pipe for watering, funnel with wire mesh, PCC (1:3:6), type C-1 chamber shall be constructed 500mm away from the edge of earth pit, pit cover of precast RCC (1;2:4), type B-1, 80mm thick reinforced XPM of weight not less than 4 Kg/ Sqm and MS frame etc. complete & connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including brazing/ testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) The unit rate includes galvanised Iron strip and protection pipe upto (maximum 7.5 metre from earth plate) earth point/ test point. (ii) The complete earth system shall be guaranteed to give result less than 3 ohm resistance.
