REPAIR/MAINT OF 33/11 KV HT POWER, DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND OTHER ALLIED CONNECTED WORKS AT JASAI MIL STN UNDER GE(ARMY) BARMER

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth for taking out/laying of UG Cables, GI Pipe etc. and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm thick.

Removing of excavated material n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point.

M&L for providing sand cushioning for protection of UG cable in trenches with dry River sand approved quality including filling, spreading and punning down to desired thickness & levelling, watering complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge/GE.Note :- Punned thickness to be measured and paid.

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, Type 1, flat, size 300 x 180 x 40 mm in trenches for protection of UG Cable with width equal to length of PCC cover, laid dry & flat complete all as specified & as directed. Note- Credit not conisder due to change of overhaed line into UG Cable as per MES Guideline.

M&L for GI pipe Light grade with all running fittings (ISI Marked), laid in trenches, under road or fixing on wall/pole/crossing drain/nallah etc. of bore 100 mm complete all as specified and directed. Note : Wherever GI Protection pipes are to be placed/fitted above earths surface, cost of necessary clamping/fixing arrangements to the entire satisfaction of Engr-In-Charge is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates.

Description all as per Item Sl No 06 here in above but of bore 80 mm.

M&L for boring under road manually with labour suitable for inserting upto 100 mm bore pipe at a depth 0.75 to 1.0 mtr complete.

M&L for cutting the existing hardstanding/PCC/WBM road at a depth of not less than 60 cm & 30 cm in width for passing of HT cables through GI pipes, returning filling in, complete incl finishing the surfaces by providing cement concrete type B1 (1:2:4) with 20 mm graded aggregate upto 20 cm, finishing to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge/GE.

Supply, laying, jointing & testing XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armored, electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminum conductor, 11000 volts grade (Earthed), of size 95 sqmm, 3 core in trenches / through GI pipe / fixed along with pole structure etc incl taking down Existing Overhead ACSR Coductor of HT line incl supporting channel,clamp and Insulators complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge/GE. NOTE : Necessary earthwork, PCC etc. shall be measured & paid separately under relevant items of work.
