Plain Cement Concrete 1:2:4 (one cement, two crushed stone sand and four hard broken stone jelly) using 20mm jelly for wearing coat including laying, compacting, finishing and curing, etc., complete as per standard specificatins and as directed by the departmental officers.- Mixing by mechanical means

Providing and laying in position, standardised concrete Mix M-20 Grade by insitu machine mix concrete adopting weighing batch method in accordance with IS 456 using 20mm and down graded hard broken granite stone jelly for all RCC items of works with minimum cement content of 325 kg/m3 and maximum water cement ratio of 0.55, including admixture (plasticiser / super plasticiser) in recommended proportions as per IS:9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability with about (5 cu.m.) 7730 kg. of 20mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (3.3 cu.m.) 5156 kg. of 10-12mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (4.79 cu.m) 7670 kg. of crushed stone sand, but excluding cost of reinforcement grill and fabricating charges, centering and shuttering and also including laying, vibrating with mechanical vibrators, finishing, curing, etc. and providing fixtures like fan clamps in the RCC floor/ roof slabs wherever necessary without claiming extra, etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. The coarse and fine aggregates to be used should comply with the requirements of IS standards. (No separate payment will be made by the Department for the excess usage of materials).

In foundation and basement

In Ground floor

Vacum dewatering on freshly laid and thoroughly vibrated concrete surface to produce a homogeneous and smooth concrete surface .Suction matshall be spread over the levelled fresh concrete surface and shall be connected by the suction hose to the vaccum pump for dewatering of surplus water in the concrete . After dewatering is complete , the concrete surface is trawled with minimum two passes to achieve a wear resistance concrete surface

Supplying, fabricating and placing in position Mild Steel / Ribbed Tor Steel grills for all RCC works as per design given including cost of steel and G.I. binding wire in all floors etc. complete complying with standard specification. (Contractor has to make his own arrangements for the supply of steel and binding wire)

Add additional labour for works above plinth/Basement level in every upper floor over the preceding floor or Below Ground level of every 3.50m depth.

Supplying and erecting steel centering including necessary supports for plane surfaces for Reinforced Cement Concrete works such as column footings, column pedestals, plinth beams, grade beams, staircase steps, Sill slabs etc. which require only nominal strutting using mild steel sheets of size 90cm x 60cm and 10 BG stiffened with welded mild steel angles of size 25mm x 25mm x 3 mm for boarding, laid with silver oak joists of size 10cm x 5cm & 7.5cm x 5cm as support runner, vertical stiffener, side support and Top Horizontal stiffener spaced at about 60cm to 90cm centre to centre or at suitable intervals etc. complete in all floors complying with standard specifcation. (Payment for centering shall be given after the concrete is laid).

Supplying and erecting centering for plane surfaces such as RCC Floor/Roof Beam, Lintels, Cantilever Beams, Bed Blocks etc.. with necessary supports and strutting upto 3.60m height in all floors with all cross bracings using MS Sheets made of 10 gauge thick welded with MS angle of Size 25mm x 25mm x 3mm for boarding laid over Steel adjustable Span of Size 2m x 2m(expandable upto 3.60m) and Silver Oak Joists of Size 10 x 5 cm spaced at 50cm to 60cm c/c and supported by Steel Adjustable Telescopic Props of Size 2m x 2m (expandable upto 3.60m) made with outer steel pipe with dia 50mm (3.60mm thick) and inner steel pipe with dia 40mm (2.90mm thick) Spaced at not more than 50 to 60cm c/c, etc complete complying with standard specifications. Steel adjustable span and Steel Adjustable telescopic props shall be provided as directed by the departmental Officers. Supplying and erecting steel centering including necessary supports For plane surfaces such as rectangular or square RCC columns etc. which require only nominal strutting using mild steel sheets made of 10 gauge thick welded with MS angle size 40mm x 40mm x 5 mm and supported by Steel Adjustable Telescopic Props of Size 2m x 2m (expandable upto 3.60m) made with outer steel pipe with dia 50mm (3.60mm thick) and inner steel pipe with dia 40mm (2.90mm thick).etc..complete in all floors complying with standard specifcation. Steel Adjustable telescopic props shall be provided as directed by the departmental Officers. (Payment for centering shall be given after the concrete is laid).

Brick work in following Cement Mortar using best quality Fly ash Brick of size 230x110x70mm with class designation of 10 conforming to IS 13757-1993 or IS 12894-2002 for foundation and basement including Cost of Mortar Plasticizer, curing, etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. Brickwork shall be done as per IS 2212-1991 adopting English Bond generally. other type of bond shall be done as directed by the Executive Engineer in charge.In Cement Mortar 1:5

For Ground Floor ( In Cement Mortar 1:6)

Plastering with Cement Mortar 1:5 (One cement and Five Plastering sand), 12mm thick in all floors including mortar plasticizer at 200ml per 50Kg of cement used, curing etc. complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Special ceiling plastering and finishing the exposed surface of all RCC items of work such as slabs, beams, sunshades, facia, canopy slab, staircase waist slab, landing slab etc., with Cement Mortar 1:3 (One Cement and Three Plastering Sand) 10mm thick including mortar plasticizer at 200ml per 50Kg of cement used, hacking the surfaces and curing, etc., in all floors complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Painting two coats of newly plastered wall surface with ready mixed plastic emulsion paint of first class quality and of approved colour over a priming coat including thorough scrapping, clean removal of dirt, and including necessary plaster of paris putty, wherever required etc., complete complying with standard specification.

Painting new iron works such as steel doors, windows, ventilators, window bars, balustrades etc., with two coats of best approved first quality and colour of synthetic enamel paint over the existing red oxide priming coat in all floors excluding cost of priming coat etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. (The make, quality and colour of paint should be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on works.)

Supplying fixing and errecting of steel roof trusses and roof truss purlins fixing for G.I. sheet roofing using MS. L. angle of size 50x50x6 mm raffter, Tie angles and MS angle of size 50x50x6mm for sturts and MS plat of size 12 mm thick for fixing G.I. sheet. The purlins using MS L. angle of size 50x50x6 mm shall be properly anchored to the supporting super structure and fixed in concrete at wall and spacing of purlins are to be arranged to use the standard size or sheet and spacing should not execeed 1680 mm and free over hang at eves should not be more than 400 mm, the cleats shall be wellded to the trusses firmly and fixed on the down stream side of purlins. The ridge purlins fixed at 77 to 115 mm away the apex of the roof. The trusses shall have welded joints only at all guessets plate junctions except gussets at bottom chords to have bolts and nuts to permit transportation of trusses as directed. The foundation anchor bolts of trusses will be fixed in concrete at wall in bed blocks and well cured, labour for erection of trusses of approved quality transportation, priming coat for all members, cutting, bending, and welding etc., The trusses should be connected at bottom 1 / 3 part by steel tie angles and with top and bottom wind bracings as per design given. The chord of the trusses of bottom channel should suitablely cambered. The truss and purlins should be given priming coat of Rex Oxide primer of approved quality including labour for erection, transportation, wellding etc., complete complying with standard specification.

Supplying, fixing and roofing with colour galvalume sheet of 0.47mm thick with all necessary accessories such as J/V bolt and nuts of suitable length with suitable bitumen washers complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and fixing corrugated PolyCarbonate Sheet of size 3mx1.06m on the roof in between the colour coated Galvolume sheets for proper lighting with necessary screws and EPDM rubber washers, etc. as complete Complying with standard specification and as directed and specified by the departmental officers.

Supplying and laying of Gal volume sheet ridge pieces approved quality with necessary U or J bolts and nuts GI washers etc., complete complying with standard specification. (Q-Rate)

Supplying and fixing of Rotary Ventilators with all purlins on the roof with necessary bolt & nut arrangement to with stand the wind velosity as specified by the departmental officers. (Q-Rate)

Providing Groove cutting in flooring concrete for 10mm width and 20mm depth and filling the groove with combination of Anabond Tuffseald 2G and bitumen tar including cost of all materials and labours etc complete. (Q-Rate)

Supplying and fixing of rolling shutters with ISI mark shall be of pull and push type made out of 18/Gauge x3’’ lathe sections which consists of five main parts such as curtain, lock plate, guide channels rollers and hood cover. These five main parts are made out of special components detailed below; Curtain; Shall be of 18/Gx3' lath sections cut to required size and filled with heavy cast iron/ M.S. Clips for 8'0"[2.45m] high rolling shutter lathe sections provided shall be not less than 37 numbers. Lock Plate; Shall be 10gaue M.S.Sheet reinforced with 40mmx 6mm M.S angles at the bottom and fitted with heavy latches of 12mm thick locking arrangements on either sides. There should be one handle on either side Guide channel; Pressed guide channels shall be of 10 gauge M.S.Sheet and attached to the side brackets with 20mm square bar. Side brackets shall be of 10 Gauge angle M.S.Plate and cost iron 'U' clamps shall be reveted to the side brackets Roller; Shall be of heavy cast iron pullies fitted with heavy duty C' Class 40mm steel pipes and high tensile high carbon coil springs-2 springs shall be supplied. Supplying and fixing of Hood Cover; Shall be of 0.9mm CRCA sheet reinforced with 25mm x 25mm x 3mm M.S. angle or gate channel. The rolling shutter in addition to the above should have pulling hook and shall be coated with heavy coat of zinc chromite primer. The above specifications for various components of rolling shutter shall be invariably followed and verified with the rolling shutters supplied by the firms at site. If the rolling shutters supplied do not confirm to the above specifications, the concerned firms should be asked to replace the shutter or supply the missing components

Fabrication, supply and fixing in position of 'N' type ventilators using M.S. angle of size 25 x 25 x5 mm for frame and M.S. Flat of size 20 x 3 mm for fixing the weld mesh and using 25 x 22 x3 mm 'T' section for frame glass. Special type of Hold fast welded to the frame of 45 degree inclined towards centre for wall and fxing the weldmesh 25mm square including cost of 3mm thick pinheaded glass panes for all panels and fixing the glass panels with necessary clips & putties with required bolts, nuts and washers and one coat of red oxide primer etc. including necessary dismantling, making holes in RCC columns, beams, masonry wherever necessary with power drill to the extend required and made good to the original conditions after fising complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers

Supplying and fixing Mild Steel grills for windows, ventilators etc.,complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing Pre construction of Anti termite Treatment for the Construction of building including all chemicals as per standard specifications. Labour charges for preparing the areas for treatment, spraying chemicals and other incident charges etc.,complete. The rate shall be inclusive of giving anti termite treatment to the building for the following four stages including breaking the termite moulds, making holes with crow bars at an interval of 30 cms to a depth of 50 cms in the pheriphery of building and pouring chemicals etc., complete as per ISI 6313 ( Part 2) 2001. The antitermite chemical chloropyriphos 20 EC used should form 0.5% concentrate for the entire operation etc., as directed by the Engineer in charge and including cost of chemicals labour transportation etc.,complete

Stage:1 Spraying Anti-termite treatment chemical solution for the foundation before laying the foundation concrete at bottom and sides of the foundation.

Stage:2 Spraying anti-termite chemicals solution to the grade beam level; spraying has to be done for the grade beams, brick masonry in the superstructure in contact with back fill earth.

Stage:3 Spraying anti-termite chemical solution on sand for the flooring before laying the flooring concrete; the treatment has to be carried out on the sand filling in basement and after leveling operation is over.

Stage:4 Spraying anti-termite chemical solution around the building on outside by making crow bar holes at an interval of 15cms to a depth of 30cms before laying the plinth projection. These holes have to be closed after the treatment.
