Material and labour Providing 30mm thick Prelam Perforated PVC False Ceiling panel made of 5mm wall thickness PVC perforated sheet of size 600mm x 600mm. Note:-The Auditorium drawings along with user data sheet as required for designing of the AC plant has been enclosed in page No 223(R), however any addditonal data required may be obtained diretly from GE (P) Vasco.
Supply, installation, testing and commissioning water cooled central AC plant 3x30 TR (2W+1S) or as worked out from item 2 above whichever is more consisting of scroll chillers, motors, pumps, AHUs, pipe lines, valves, ducts, cables, HVAC Panel, controllers, instrumentations, metering, equipments and fittings etc all as required. The air conditioning is required for Auditorium and Green rooms in the project (except toilets and bath rooms) as per the architectural elevation and sections drags of the building to maintain the desired inside weather conditions (DB 22°C±2°C, RH 55% ± 5%) including balancing, performance and energy optimization techniques complete:-
(a) Water Cooled Scroll Type Chiller 3 Nos (2W+1S): Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of floor-mounted Hermetically sealed scroll fixed type chiller machine complete with hermetic scroll type single/ multi compressors with independent circuits, water-cooled carbon steel shell, seamless copper tubes condenser and evaporator with 19 mm nitrile rubber insulation, i/c suitable foundation/mounting structure made of RCC/MS Structure with anticorrosive paint, anti vibration pad, power control cable and connection inter connection etc. as per design approved by engineer-in-charge, gauge panel, automatic safety controls, flow switch at evaporator and condenser and ozone friendly Chlorofluorocarbons (CFC)-free refrigerant gas R-410A. The refrigerant flow control shall use an electronic expansion valve. The chiller shall be designed for a Water Side working pressure of 150 psig and hydraulically tested at 1.5 times of design pressure. A number of properly spaced baffles shall be provided for maintaining optimum water velocity and heat transfer and the tubes shall be adequately supported. The chiller shall be Building Management System (BMS) compatible. The system shall be in confirmation to IS : 16590. Each chiller shall be BEE 3 Star rated 30 TR or more and confirm the following requirement:- .
(i) Chilled water Leaving Temp. (6.67 deg. C) (ii) Chilled water Entering Temp. (12.2 deg. C) (iii) Evaporator fouling factor = 0.018 m2. ⁰C/kW (iv) Condenser water Entering Temp. (32.2 deg. C) (v) Condenser water Leaving Temp. (36.4 deg. C) (vi) Suitable for Seismic Zone and Altitude as per location/site. Note:- Necessary civil work viz. foundation for placement of Chillers, Vibration dampers and pads etc shall be deemed included in the scope of work.

(g) Cables: Material and labour for XLPE insulated & PVC inner sheathed 1.1 kV grade copper conductor, armoured cable ISI marked including necessary cable trays of suitable size as per site conditions with required clamping/ dressing with cable ties and termination complete (i) 3.5Cx35 sqmm with stranded copper conductor (for chillers) (ii) 4Cx10 sqmm with stranded copper conductor (for AHU) (iii) 3 core, 6 sqmm with solid copper conductor (for pump starter to motor terminals & cooling tower)
(i) HVAC Panel: Supplying, installing, testing and commissioning floor mounted indoor cubical type compartmentalized MV Panel board, design verified with switchgear and controlgear assemblies as per IS/IEC-61439 (Part-1 & 2) of 2020 suitable for 415V, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz fabricated from 2 mm thick CRCA sheet powder coated RAL 7032 shade, dust, weather & vermin proof, degree of ingress protection IP-42 having busbar chamber with TPN copper busbar insulated with colour coded heat shrinkable sleeves of rating 1.5 times of controlling MCCB supported on 'F' class SMC insulators with short circuit withstand capacity 35 MVA for 1 second, bottom base channel of MS section not less than 100 mm x 50 mmx 5 mm thick, entire panel shall have a common copper earth bar of size 25 mm x 3 mm at the rear with 2 Nos earth stud, solid connections from main bus bar to switch gears with required size of bus bars and control wiring with minimum 1.5 sqmm PVC insulated FRLS copper conductor cable, cable alleys, cable gland plates etc as required including the following:-
Outgoing: (i) Three numbers MCCB, TP, 100 A, 415 V, 25 KA (lcu = lcs), thermally adjustable between 70% - 100% (for Chillers). (ii) One number MCCB, TP, 63 A, 415 V, 16 KA (lcu = lcs), thermally adjustable between 70% - 100% (for AHU). (iii) Eight numbers MCCB, TP, 40 A, 415 V, 16 KA (lcu = lcs), thermally adjustable between 70% - 100% (for Chilled water circulation pump, condenser water pump & cooling tower) (iv) Two numbers MCB, DP, 10-32 A, 415 V, 10 KA, ISI marked 'C' Curve as required (for lights & other misc use).
(k) Earthing: Material and labour for earthing with copper earth plate electrode of 60 cm x 60 cm x 3.15 mm size, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, connected to copper strip of size 20 mm x 3 mm as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, galvanized iron pipe of 40 mm diameter, connected to · earthing test point, all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR (Part-I) 2009 connected to earthing test point including excavation and earth work, PCC earth pit with a 10 mm thick Cl cover, hinged to Cl frame on ground level, Gl watering pipe, funnel, etc.(for chiller) - 10 Nos
(l) Water piping & Valves:: Sizes and Quantities under this shall be as per standard design requirements to achieve optimum performance parameters in accordance with ASHRAE handbook and standard hydraulics & air conditioning practices and per approved design and drawings
(i) MS ERW Class 'C' Pipe: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning MS ERW Class 'C' pipes for condenser/ chilled water/ hot water, drain, instrumentation including necessary fittings viz. bends, tees, reducers, flanges, air purge valves, drain valves, structural support, necessary clamps, vibration isolators, etc. including painting and supporting / fixing the pipe in excavated trenches or on floor/ wall / ceiling with clamps, hangers, angles, channels. (a) Chilled water and hot water piping, valves, strainers shall be duly & thermally insulated with FM approved highly- flexible, closed-cell thermal insulation of elastomeric foam based on synthetic rubber (NBR) of appropriate thickness laminated with 12 micron aluminium foil facing with reinforced glass scrim along with adhesives and other necessary accessories, insulation of make Armacell, K-Fiex, Aeroflex (b) The pipe size 150 mm NB & below shall be MS 'C' class as per IS 1239 (Part- 1): 2004 & IS 1239 (Part- 2):2011. (c) The pipe size above 150 mm NB shall be welded black steel pipe heavy class as per IS 3589: 2001 (d) Minimum thickness of MS sheet for pipe size above 150 mm NB and up to 350 mm NB shall be 6.35 mm. (ii) Y- Strainers: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning cast steel bolted cover Y- type strainers with CCS body conforming to ASTM A-216 Gr. WCB, AISI 304 screen with 1.2 mm diameter perforation, 40 kg/sqcm body test pressure & 20 kg/sqcm maximum working pressure and standard flange end conforming to BS 10 Table F/ Class-150 with necessary accessories complete.
(iii) Butterfly Valves & Ball Valves: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning wafer type PN 1.6 rated short pattern Cl butterfly valves having Gr. FG-200 Cl body conforming to IS 210: 2009, seat having EPDM rubber lining, CF 8 stainless steel disc, AISI- 410 stainless steel stem, 2.4 MPa body test pressure & 1.6 MPa seat test pressure and standard flange end conforming to BS 10 Table DIE & ANSI B 16.1 Cl- 125 with necessary accessories as required- Ball valves for sizes 50 mm (iv) Non Return Valves: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning wafer type PN 1.6 rated swing check type multidoor reflux valve (NRV), designed & tested as per IS 5312 (Part- 2): 1986, suitable to handle clear water having turbidity up to 5000 PPM, having Cl body, door and diaphram, leaded tin bronze seat rings and flange drilling standard end connection, etc. with other necessary accessories. (v) Manual Balancing Valves: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning precise balancing, double regulation type cast iron balancing valve chilled water/condenser water and hot water systems having FG 200 cast iron body conforming to IS 210: 2009, copper alloy trim, stainless steel2 Cr. 13 stem, 2.4 MPa body test pressure & 1.6 MPa maximum working pressure and standard flange ends with necessary accessories complete all as specified. Note: Manual balancing valves shall be calibrated and commissioned using portable flow meter and/or other metering instruments to arrive at the precise setting of the required flow rates.
(vi) 3-Way Temperature Control Valve: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of electronic, self-balancing dynamic balancing valve for chilled water and hot water systems rated for minimum 25 bar working pressure with integrated 3-way modulating control valve of required size in a single body and actuator capable of accepting up to 10-24 V DC and up to 20 mA electric signal and provide similar transuded feedback output to control system duly insulated with FM approved highly- flexible, closed-cell thermal insulation of elastomeric foam based on synthetic rubber (NBR) of appropriate thickness laminated with 12 micron aluminium foil facing with reinforced glass scrim along with adhesives and other necessary accessories complete all as specified . Notes: Maximum close off pressure shall not be less than 6 bar for up to 50 mm valves and not be less than 7 bar for 65 mm & above.
(m) Auto Air Vent: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning automatic air-vent valve with 20 mm end connections, brass OT 58 body and cover, polyacetal lever, high density expanded polyethylene float, EPDM rubber plug, stainless steel spring, polyamide cap etc. suitable for maximum operating pressure of 16 bar and maximum operating temperature 115 deg Celsius respectively, installed on all high points in the water piping system to automatically remove the trapped air complete. - 6 nos (n) Temperature Gauge: Supply and fix of 6" dual scale (0 F/0 C), lower mount (radial), bimetal thermometer having 0.5 NPT process connection, Grade A accuracy class as per ASME B40.200, stem diameter 6.35 mm, laminated safety glass window, stainless steel 304 case, steam, process connection & joint, aluminium dial & pointer, IP67 protection, scale range 0- 60 deg Celsius complete with accessories, etc.all as specified. (o) Pressure Guage: Supply and fix of 4' bourdon tube pressure gauge conforming to EN 837-1 , having copper alloy process connection & pressure element, plastic black pointer & case, plastic crystal-clear window, snap-fitted in case, accuracy class 2.5, scale range 0- 25 bar complete with accessories, etc.
(p) Air Distribution (i) Double Skin Air Handling Unit (1 No): Supply, installation, testing and commissioning double-skin type horizontal, floor-mounted, top/ side discharge air handling unit capable of delivering 30000 CFM air at designed value of ESP W.G. static pressure and having thermal break profile complete with air-tight casing using gaskets and self-adhesive tapes and 0.6 mm thick pre-coated outer skin and 0.6 mm thick Gl inner skin, 23±2 mm thick double skin panel with pressure injected CFC & HCFC free PUF having 'k' value of 0.02 W/0 C/m & density 40 kg/m3, AMCA certified energy efficient plug fans with backward curved impellers for high static pressure mounted on aluminium extruded side rail base frame, EU4 pre-filter and EU7 fine filter (shall be mounted on a common frame), combination of 6/8 rows deep chilled water coils with anti-corrosion aluminium fins, suitable high efficiency (IE3) TEFC flameproof squirrel cage induction motor, electric step heater, PVC/nylon hinges & handles, view port and marine lamp, limit switch, SS-304 drain pan, vibration isolators/rubber pads (minimum 1" thick) inspection windows / doors, mixing box and supply / return / fresh air openings fitted with aluminium volume control dampers complete - 1 No combination of 6/8 rows deep chilled water coils with anti-corrosion aluminium fins, suitable high efficiency (IE3) TEFC flameproof squirrel cage induction motor, electric step heater, PVC/nylon hinges & handles, view port and marine lamp, limit switch, SS-304 drain pan, vibration isolators/rubber pads (minimum 1" thick) inspection windows / doors, mixing box and supply / return / fresh air openings fitted with aluminium volume control dampers complete
The AHU shall comprise of the following: (a) Suitable SISW backward curved plug fan, dynamically balanced, with AMCA certified blower (b) Foot mounted (83 construction) 3-Phase squirrel cage induction motor 415 V ± 10%, 50 Hz ± 5 %, combined variation ±10%, insulation class F, (for Blower of AHU 24000 CFM with temperature rise limited to class 8, degree of protection IP 55, duty 51, ambient temperature 45 deg Celsius, conforming to IS 12615: 2011, IS/IEC60079-1: 2007, IS3682: 1966 gas group II A, II B (c) Flexible connection made with airtight ASTM E84 (Class I) polyester fire retardant cloth riveted on periphery of cloth with extruded aluminium 'L' angle flange as per fan size at discharge duct/plenum
(d) Washable type of 'EU4' filter (pre-filter, efficiency 90% down to 10 micron) and 'EU7' filters (Micro Vee filters, efficiency 99% down to 3 micron) (e) 6/8 rows deep chilled water cooling coil section with 0.15 mm thick aluminium fins and 0.36 mm diameter copper tubes tested on 21 kg/cni, with 55 sandwiched drain tray, etc. (f) 350 mm service section between eliminator and heater is required condensate drain pan fabricated from 18 gauge SS 304, powder coated and insulated with insulation of suitable thickness (g) 214 row deep heating coil section with aluminium fins and copper tube tested on 21 kg/sqcm with SS sandwiched drain tray, etc. (h) AHU panel made out of 2.0 mm thick mild steel CRCA sheet duly powder coated in compartmentalised construction with incomer and outgoing feeders for AHU motor, 3-way valve actuator motor, fire damper actuator motor, etc. complete with required variable frequency drive (VFD), relays, timers, contactors, PT, push buttons. switches. Internal wiring etc.
(i) AHU chilled water flow system will be automated with Thermostat and humidistat of central air-conditioning grade & features to be integrated and calibrated in conjunction with the 3-way motorized control valve duly supplied, installed and connected and controlling the flow of water into the Chilled Water and Hot water coils based on adjustable setting requirements of temperature and humidity. (j) Three feedback PID controller having capability to simultaneously accept 3 feedback signals from temperature sensors or pressure sensors for process optimization and accordingly control the speed of the pumps.
Note: Necessary civil work viz foundation for placement of AHU, mounting of panel, construction of opening(s) for fresh/exhaust air etc shall be covered in the scope of work
(q) Fire Damper: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 16 gauge Gl fire damper, at least of 120 minutes fire-rating, spring activated on melting of fusible link having melting point 67.13" C complete with smoke detector /thermistor, fusible link etc. and actuator as required for operation, located in the SA/RA ducts, at all fire rated crossovers (shafts, walls, etc.). along with control panel (located in such a way that the reset can easily be done), interlocked with the building management system for the fire detection or HVAC to trip/ close in the event of fire/smoke in the respective zone and tested as per ULL- 555 and complete. The fire dampers shall meet the following criteria: (a) Bare fire dampers with 400 mm sleeve (b) Control panel actuator, including electrical spring type actuator, remote indication of the fire damper position. (c) interconnection wire for the fire detection & alarm system with the AHU and the smoke dampers (d) Sealing any openings around the sleeve of the fire dampers with approved fire sealant as per the specification & recommendations of the manufacturer. Motorized, spring return type, combination fire and smoke damper Control panel actuator, including electrical spring type actuator, remote indication of the fire damper position.
(r) Galvanised Steel Sheet (GSS) Ducting: Supply, installation, balancing and commissioning of factory fabricated galvanized steel sheet metal (G.S.S) rectangular/ round ducting sheet having zinc coating of 120 g/sqm total on both sides and complete with neoprene rubber gaskets, elbows, splitter dampers, vanes, volume control dampers, hangers, supports, etc.as per approved drawings and thickness 26/24/22/20/18 Gauges as per approved duct design including MS angle flanges complete.conforming to the latest edition of IS:655 : 2006 & HVAC Duct Construction Standards - Metal and Flexible of SMACNA.
(s) Air Terminals: Supply/ return / exhaust air diffusers / grilles /louvers of powder coated aluminium with aluminium volume control dampers with anti smudge ring & removable core complete.
(t) Thermal Insulation: (i) Material and labour for FM approved black flexible closed-cell elastomeric thermal insulation made of elastomeric foam based on synthetic rubber (NBR / PVC) with self pre-covered self-adhering, UV treated glass cloth of thickness 7 mm /200 GSM, tested for maximum service temperature 100 deg Celsius as per ASTM C411 & minimum service temperature ·50 deg Celsius as per ASTM C534, thermal conductivity ≤: 0.037 W/mK at mean temperature 24 deg Celsius as per ASTM C518/ C177, ASTM C335, water absorption by volume :5:0.2% as per ASTM C1763, fire spread index (FSI) & smoke development index (SDI) 25/50 as per ASTM E84, flammability HB, V-0 as per UL 94, fungi resistance as per ASTM G21, mould growth resistance as per ASTM E2180-18/ UL 181 and ozone resistance as per ASTM D 1149-18 along with adhesives and other necessary accessories 13 mm/19 mm thick thermal insulation complete
(ii) Material and labour for FM approved fiber-free, super-silent, microbe resistant, easy to apply 10 mm thick acoustic duct lining insulation of open cell elastomeric foam based on synthetic rubber tested for acoustic performance as per ENISO 354, EN ISO 11654: 1997 & ASTM C 423, service temperature range -20-85 deg Celsius as per EN 14706 & EN 14304, thermal conductivity A ≤0.047 W/mK at mean temperature 20 deg Celsius as per EN 12667, Class 1 surface spread of flame as per BS 476 7: 1997, flammability HB, V-0 as per UL- 94, anti-microbial behaviour (no fungal growth visible with the naked eye & no bacterial growth) as per EN ISO 846, air erosion resistance (no erosion, cracking or delamination at air velocity of 10000 FPM) as per ASTM C 1071- 05, density 140- 180 kg/m3 along with adhesives and other necessary accessories complete.
Note:- (i) Contractor shall design the AC plant, if the designed capacity is found to be less than 30 TR, min 30 TR AC plant will be installed at site at no additional cost. (ii) If the designed AC plant / 30TR AC plant are not available in market then the immediate greater capacity whichever is available in market with makes as given in CA shall be provided by the contractor at no additonal cost. The bidder should satisfy himshelf regarding the actual capacity required on site and the market availablity of AC plant available in the market before submission of bid and shall quote the rate accordingly. (iii) Any other fittings/ accessories necessary for satisfactory operation of the Central AC plant shall be provided whether it is specifically mentioned or not in the item and cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate..
