Making and supplying of single steel cot • The overall dimension of single steel cot should be 78”x 36”x 18”. Overall outer to outer dimension for head framing size is 36”x 30” and for leg framing size is 36”x 22”. • The frames should be made up of 1” outer diameter steel pipe (preferably cold rolled coil-CRC pipe) with thickness of 1.245 (Gauge number 18). • The rigid steel frame should be perfectly fixed and welded to the base. All welding parts should be done with electro welding process as per IS Standard. • The horizontal base should be made from steel sheet with the thickness of 1.897mm (Gauge number 16) and horizontal base should be stiffened with appropriate longitudinal (preferably 3 to 4 ‘V’ shape sheet) and lateral stiffeners (preferably 2 to 3 steel pipes) with base of edge moulding provision. • The horizontal base should be fastened with frame of suitable steel bracket with two numbers of G.I bolts with washers of GI coated at each point. All steel components need to be given acid wash, 5 stage of anti-corrosion treatment prior to powder coating. • All steel components should be powder coated with thickness 60 to 70µ (micron). The legs need to have durable plastic bushes. The length of the ‘L’-plate should be 4.5 inch, bottom width 1 inch and thickness of the L-Plate should be 2.75mm. Washer should be provided to fix with the bolt. • Weight of the Single Steel Cot should not be less than 40 kgs.
