REPAIR/MAINT OF LT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, SUB-STATION AND CONNECTED ITEMS AT AWC UNDER GE (AWC) MHOW

Excavating in trenches, in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation, etc or not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for shafts, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc and getting out in any type of soil complete.

All as per item No 01, above but for each additional 1.5 m or part thereof in depth beyond the first 1.5 mtr

M&L for Cement concrete 1:2:4 type B 2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Cement concrete 1:4:8 type D 2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Cement concrete 1:3:6 type C 1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in roof kerbs or pole coupling of size 300x300 mm or chamfered on edges all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in excavated approved soil, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm each complete.

Removing excavated soil not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete.

M&L for Sand cushioning with locally available dry unwashed sand in trenches for protection of cables complete.

Old size sub class ‘B’ bricks, laid in trenches as cable covers complete.

Supply and fixing Steel tubes, galvanised, light grade, ISI marked 40mm bore for protection of cable under floor, road and on wall complete.

Supply and fixing Steel tubes, galvanised, light grade, ISI marked 80 mm bore for protection of cable under floor, road and on wall complete.

M&L for dismantaling of old cracked /unserviceable PCC poles /MS pole struts any type and size incl deposited at a suitable locations not more than 50 RM away complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-In- Charge.

Supply and fix Steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws as specified type 410 SP-31 ,9.0 metres long

M&L for attending external electric complaints by opening / disconnecting the electrical connection of defective / burnt out underground LT cable of any size & any core from main switch / DB / junction box / LT panel / L T O/H line etc. and taking out the required length of cable from existing loop and remove/ cut the defective cable,replace the same with new cable as per existing size including providing necessary thimbles / connectors at cable end and reconnecting the cable in previous location with existing main switch / DB / Junction box / LT panel / OH line etc. and make electic connection as functionable in all repspects including testing on completion all as specified and directed. Note:- (A) The rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of the following: (i) Necessary earth work excavation in any type of soil, returning, filling and removing extra soil. (ii) Existing bricks, sand,GI protection pipe etc. shall be removed carefully and stacks neatly near site and same shall be re- laid after attending fault/defect. (iii) Distrubed surface of road, floor etc. shall be make good to match with existing surface. (iv) Minimum two numbers of electrician and two numbers of helpers shall be deployed for attending complaints regulerly on daily basis and contractor shall collect the complaints details from complaint cell of AGE E/M No.2 and same shall be rectified/ attanded within an hour and report shall be submitted to Engineer-in-charge or their authorised representative. (B) Please note that payment shall be made to contractor one time only for this items. if any fault/ default occured again on the same location/ DB/junction box/panel during currency of contract, the same shall be rectified by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt. in terms of condition 46 of IAFW of genral condition of contracts. (C) Additional bricks,sand,GI pipe etc. as required for cable protection and cushioning shall be measured and paid separetely under relevent item.

M&L for dismantling / disconnecting / removing the faulty / burnt out overhead conductor of any type / size from insulator of HT / LT pole any type by making proper shutdown from department and removing of tree / branches if any fell on Over Head Line, loose the binding wire in each insulators and disconnecting cable connection as required, remove the burnt / damage conductor / earth wire and making necessary joint with new ACSR conductor of suitable size as per existing as directed, restretching all the loose spans of ACSR conductors, earth wire etc. with insulator and providing binding wire of existing size to tigheting and making LT/HT cable in existing position and make electric connection as functionable in all respects including testing on completion allas specified and directed by Engineer in charge. Note:- The rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of the following:- (i) Tools and plants such as ladder,rope, cutter, axes, knife etc. as required for cutting and removing tree/branches if any fall on OH line. (ii) Insulator,binding wire etc. as required in addition to existing shall be provided by the contractor. (iii) Minimum two numbers of electrician and two numbers of helpers shall be deployed for attending complaint regularly on daily basis and contractor shall collect the complaint details from complaint cell of AGE E/M-II (iv) Additional ACSR conductor and earth wire shall be measured and paid separetely under relevant items.

Supply and fixing in replacement for LED street light fitting 100 Watt 230 V AC outdoor type with high pressure die cast aluminum hosing and heat resistant complete with driver, lamp bracket with impact and corrosion resistant including thermal management in multiple optics complete with IP 65/66 protection complete.

Supply and fixing in replacement for LED street light fitting 120 Watt 230 V AC outdoor type with high pressure die cast aluminum hosing and heat resistant complete with driver, lamp bracket with impact and corrosion resistant including thermal management in multiple optics complete with IP 65/66 protection complete.

M & L for Trimming/pruning of tree branches touching to the LT over head line or near to the LT over head line as per direction of AGE E/M /JE in charge complete including removing the tree branches from site complete all as specified and directed . Note - (a) Prior shut-down shall be obtained from concerned JE / AGE E/M before taking out the trimming work , by contractor (b) span from one pole to next pole (30 to 50 m) will be considered as a job. (c) T & P such as ladder , rope, cutter , axes and safety of workmen, will be provided by the contractor

Supplying and fixing in repairs 1100 volts grade heavy duty cable PVC insulated aluminium conductor, served with inner sheathing of PVC tape and overall PVC sheathed in service connections suspended by insulating hangers not more than 1 metre apart including 4mm suspension wire, one twin core cable flat or circular of size 10 sqmm

S & F in replacement XLPE insulated and PVC armoured heavy duty electric cables with aluminum conductor, 1100 volt grade of size 4.0 core, 10 sqmm in trenches/through pipes/ducts or on poles/walls jointing to O/H conductor, LT panels, main switch with suitable size aluminum lugs and testing complete all as specified & directed for the following sizes:- Note : (a) Excavation shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items of Sch 'A' . (b) All redq lugs of suitable sizes according to laying of cable measured and paid seperately under respective items of Sch 'A'

Supply & Fix in repairs of aluminium conductor steel re inforced, any sizes for replacement of broken over head line conductor of any type and length as required at site including removing of foreign objects/ obstacle, if any on the over head line, all as specified and directed .

Restringing of loose over head conductor/GI earth wire of any size and type after untyeing binding wire from insulators/cross arms to achieve permissible sag limit of over head line including new binding wire of proper size and pruning of tree branches of concerned spans and jointing of jumpers properly complete all as specified and directed at site. Note:- (i) One job consist one span of 3-phase, 4-wire over head line. (ii) The distance of one span is approx 30 to 50 meter.

M &L for repalcement straight through joint ( Epoxy joint) for following size PVC insulated and sheathed aluminium cable complete for following sizes :-

(a) 3.5 core, 50 sq mm

(b) 3.5 core , 70 sqmm

(c) 3.5 core , 95 sqmm

(d) 3.5 core , 120 sqmm to 150 sqmm

(e) 3.5 core , 185 sqmm

Material and labour in Painting and welding (both weldind and painting whenever required) of old exiting LT panel of any size with two coat of synthethic enemelled paint of approved colour internally and externally , after cleaning to rusted portion of panel and finishing the surfaces including one coat of primer by Skilled Painter complete all as specified and as directed. Note- Repairs to LT panel boards complete incl. necessary welding works to door , replacement of unserviceable hings and all drop bolt , etc

Supply and fix in repairs mild steel galvanised stay assembly set complete comprising of 20mm dia, 400mm long stay bow, 1800 mm long stay rod 20mm dia, 300mm x 300mm x 6mm stay plate, thimble, GI stay wire of 7/8 SWG upto required length including loop type insulator of vitreous porcelain, small size with overall dimensions 90x140mm, clearance of hole 25.5mm, all as shown in electrical plate No.1 of MES Schedule part-I 2009 complete all as directed.

Material and Labour for in replacement Danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for LT, 20x15cm size for HT,25X20cm size complete all as directed.

M & L for Painting to street light pole of steel tubular swaged/ swan neck type with two coat of aluminium paint after cleaning to rusted portion of pole and finishing the surfaces including one coat primer top to bottom, painting on cross arms/FI clamps/street liht brackets of any type including making alternative blak and yellow strip with synthethic enemelled paint up to 1.5 Mtr height from ground level & writing of pole numbers with black paint on poles all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting of LT PCC poles 09 Mtr. with acrylic paint after apply two coat of cement base primer and making the surface smooth including painting of cross arms, clamps, etc with two coat of aluminium paint and providing alternative strip of 30 cm width (3 black and 2 yellow) from bottom of pole to 1.5 m height, writing of pole numbers in yellow circle 15 cm with black paint on poles complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Errecting LT Bus Bar Panel outdoor type mounted and fixed with PCC foundation , made out of MS sheet factory assembled and factory fabricated out of 3.15 mm thick sheet steel with suitable size MS angle duly spray painted with two coat of gray synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer after preparation of surface , with required civil work & wiring with copper cable of suitable size, connecting including indication lamp LED type for each phase , including 3 -Pole MCCB 200 Amps, 36 KA capacity -01 Nos, ( as incommer ) & Aluminium bus bar - 400 Amps rating - 03 Nos. for phases and 400 Amp rating - 01 No. for neutral, incl inbuilt industrial type locking arrangments , front openable incl necessary arrangments for fixing with suitable, clamps,nuts, bolts wahers etc, & incl Danger notice board , feeder marked,testing and commissioning , size 600 x600x 300 mm, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing cable path indicator made of MS sheet of size 200 mm x 150 mm x 3 mm thick and spot welding with angle iron of size 40 x 40 x 5 mm thick, 750 mm long embedded in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1( using 12.5 mm graded granite stone aggregate) including providing one coat of synthetic enamlled black paint over one coat of red oxide primer and sign writing with white paint showing size of cable HT /LT complete all as specified & directed

Cutting the Existing bituminouse road for passing of UG Cable in road crossing and making good of disturbed surgace of road to match the existing all as specified and directed

M&L earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground in vertical position (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth strip of size 25 x 4 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, all as shown in electrical plate no. 3 of SSR Part - 1, connected to earthing test point and complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The unit rate shall also include for earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) earth chamber, RCC 1:1.5:3, type A-1 cover slab, 40 mm thick reinforced with 6 mm dia TMT bar @ 150 mm C/C both ways, 10 mm dia plain bar lifting handle embedded in cover slab, 20 mm bore medium grade GI watering pipe, 40 mm bore GI light grade earth lead protection pipe, funnel, wire mesh, copper lugs, charcoal and common salt in alternate layer etc. (b) GI earth strip and GI protection pipe upto 7.5 mtr from under pole is deemed to be included in quated rates.
