CWE/FZR-26/2020-21 Special Repair/Resurfacing of Internal roads of Fd Wksp Coy of EME Bn and MES Offices/installations under GE (West) Ferozepur Cantt

Scarifying or picking existing gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surface, area not exceeding 400 Sqm and depth exceeding 50mm and not exceeding 100 mm (average 75mm) and segregating serviceable stone metal for re-using and removal of debris from site to a distance upto 50 metres spread & leveled as directed, complete all as specified.

M&L 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) of WBM using lime stone, sand stone, flint or quartzite broken stone coarse aggregate (sand stone) of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) blinded with stone screening type ‘A’, spread, rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power road roller & consolidated to required camber & gradient complete all as specified.

All as per Item 2 above, but using stone materials retrived from item no 01 shall be re-used, complete all as specified.

M&L Premix bituminous macadam (Design Mix), laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated) thickness 75 mm or less by binder content of paving bitumen(VG-30) of 4% by weight of total mix laid with self propelling mechanical paver and rolling with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller to the required camber and gradient to uniform smooth surface, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L preparing WBM top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. Sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 kg per 10 Sqm of road surface by sprayer operated by hot pressure mechanism, complete all as specified.

All as per item 5 above, but on existing black top surfaces and tack coat @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified.

M&L Bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness using minimum 5.50% binder content of paving bitumen(VG-30) by weight of total mix laid with self propelling mechanical paver and rolling with 8 to 10 tonne power road roller to the required camber and gradient to uniform smooth surface, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Bituminous premixed asphaltic concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness (Design Mix) using minimum 6% binder content of paving bitumen(VG-30) by weight of total mix laid with self propelling mechanical paver and rolling with 8 to 10 tonne power road roller to the required camber and gradient to uniform smooth surface, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Providing hot applied thermoplastic compound road marking paint 2.50mm thick (excluding thickness of glass beads) and providing reflective glass beads @ 250 gm per square metre as per IRC-135,confirming to MOSRT&H, complete all as specified and as directed .
