Earthwork in excavation over areas by mechanical/mannual means at all depths in all type of strata comprising any of the materials such as soil, silt, sand, clay, gravels, moorum of all varieties, shingles, pebbles, all types of conglomerates, all types of laterite rock, soft rock, disintegrated rock, fissured/ shattered/ decomposed rock or weathered rock and all such other materials as described under appendix to these specifications whether in full or in parts as the case may be adopting any approved method or methods as may be convenient or permitted inclusive of chiselling, wedging etc. in all conditions such as dry, moist, saturated, submerged, foul conditions etc. including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, including getting out the excavated soil at all lifts, including pumping or bailing out water as directed by the Engineer on site including segregating the excavated earth along with crushed rock pieces of size 75mm and below and disposal of surplus excavated earth as directed by Engineer within a lead of 50mt and all lift and including breaking of excavated rock into boulders of size ranging from 150mm to 300 mm and stacking the broken boulders at a place specified by the Engineer on site etc. complete

Refilling the pipeline/foundation trenches plinth sides, foundation etc. with available excavated earth in layers not exceeding 20 cm depth consolidating each layer ramming and watering lead upto 50 M and all lifts and disposal of surplus earth as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Rubble packing with hard laterite stone under floors including watering ramming and consolidating etc. in pipeline trenches and other foundations complete.

Laterite masonry in neatly dressed stones of size as specified in cement mortar 1: 4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) in foundation and basement.

Laterite masonry in neatly dressed stones of size as specified in cement mortar 1: 4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) in foundation and basement. Extra for laterite masonry in all sizes in superstructure from floor I level upto floor V level.

Providing & laying cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggrt. 20 mm. nominal size) excluding cost of centering, shuttering and finishing in: a) All works upto plinth level

Providing and laying upto floor five level cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) including smooth finishing to exposed surfaces, with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 fine sand) including centering and shuttering etc b) String courses copings, bedplates, anchor blocks, plain window sills and the like.

Making plinth protection 50mm thick of Cement Concrete 1:3:6 (1cement: 3 Coarse Sand: 6 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) over 75mm bed of dry laterite aggregate 40mm nominal size well rammed and consolidated and grouted with fine sand including finishing the top smooth.
