Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non- ccessibility of e-Procurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder.

As per Karnataka State Government order No.LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore Dated 01.01.2007 and Government Letter No.PW/134/BMS/2007 Dated 27.7.2007, a sum amounting to 1%of the bill amount will be deducted towards Construction Labour Welfare fund

The Item Rate quoted shall include the Royalty Charges on construction materials and other taxes as per prevailing Government Orders.

Conditional tenders will not be accepted

All the items in the tender include all lead, lifts, lab our hire charges of machinery curing for concrete works, and all other incidental charges necessary for successful completion of works as per the direction of Engineer - in charge of this work

The Tenderer shall obtain the work done certificate in the prescribed format from the Competent Authority not below the rank of Executive Engineer(District Level Officer)and scan the Original Certificate and attach the scanned file to the Bid

Financial Year will be reckoned as the period between first day of April and Thirty first day of March of succeeding yearboth days inclusive

The Tenderer shall note that the scanned Documents can also be uploaded in the tasks created under Document/Evidence Required from the Bidder

The Employer reserves the right to Reject any or all Tenders without assigning any reason

The Department is not responsible for any delay in accessing eprocurement portal

Tenderer shall note that the Tenders of those found Eligible as mentioned in Clause 3 - Qualification of the Tenderer in Section 2 : Instructions to Tenderers (ITT), will only be considered for evaluation

To Qualify for award of this contract, each bidder should give all details and documents as per technical and financial bid attached to this tender The bidders shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of each tender, and the employer will in no case be esponsible and liable for those costs.

All materials required for this work shall be procured by the bidder himself and should got tested by the quality control authorities at his own cost before use on the work.

The Defects Liability Period is 01 year

The intending contractors are requested to note that they should abide by the detailed instructions and conditions contained in the standard tender documents KW-4 KPWD and further orders thereon

18%GST shall be paid to the tendered amount separately

The Increase in G.S.T shall not be paid in the extended period of Contract for which the contractor alone is responsible for delay as determined by the authority while granting the extension of time.

Financial turnover of previous years shall be given a weightage of 10% per year to bring them to the price level of the 2025-26 in the Technical Qualification Criteria mentioned in the next section

Successful bidder should produce 5% Security Deposit and difference amount for unbalanced tender

LOC/Letter of Credit should be in prescribed format-2, if not, then the tender will not be accepted

Registration Certificate License Class- III & above

EMD Total Amount Rs 2,76,200/- Part (1) Rs.1,00,000/- by e-payment in favour of Executive engineer, PWD Division Dharwad & Part(2) of the EMD.Rs.1,76,200/- shall be in favor of Executive Engineer PWD, Dharwad Division, Dharwad, in the form of Bank Guarantee issued by Nationalized/Scheduled Bank / in favor of Executive Engineer, PWD,Dharwad Division, Dharwad

Period of completion 06 months including monsoon

The Tenderer shall scan the Original Ownership Documents/ Lease/ Hire commitment Agreement for the Machinery and attach the scanned file to the Bid. but As per this note, each tenderer should demonstrate availability of few key equipments / machinery for execution of the work. However as per Govt circular no GO-FD/AE 263/EXP12-2022 dt 11-05-2022, this clause for owning key equipments for works costing up to Rs.3.00 crores is exempted. However it is obligatory for the contractor to use the machineries for various activities involved in construction as per Morth specification

Any Deviation/Error/mistake found in units of items, they should be read as in the Unified SR 2023-24 and subsequent Corrigendums and the rates shall be quoted accordingly
