Laying and Jointing PVC Pipe. Heading
Excavation in foundations and trenches (for pipes and pits) upto all depths etc. in all kinds of soil such as pick work, jumper work and saturated soil including bailing or pumping out of water, blasting in soft/hard rock or chiseling or wedging out of same where blasting is prohibited in all leads and lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, leveling of beds to correct grade including shoring strutting, planking timbering and dewatering wherever required, stacking usable and unusable material/soil separately and after laying jointing and testing of pipes, returning the usable soil in 15 cm layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil/unusable material as directed within all leads and lifts including restoration of unmetaled surfaces to its original condition and including cost of diversion of traffic, night signal boards, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects within all leads and lifts as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing laying and jointing and testing in trenches of GMSERW butt welded pipes including cost of bends of all degrees conforming to IS 3183-2007 of following steel grade as per dimension rates and test pressure mentioned below in random lenth 5 to 7 Mtrs with 100% butt welded joints by considering minimum three layer to make the joints leak proof and to the enitire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. The laying of pipe should be confirmed to IS 5822-1994 (earth work in trenches and butt welding to be measured and paid for separtely) The pipe shall be zinc coated on innter to outer face as per IS:4736-1986 with upto date ammendments.

Supply of floor/wall mounted power factor shunt capacitor conforming to BIS: 2834-1986 latest with upto date amendments Baja/L&T/Asian/cromption make to raise the prevailing power factor at site to 0.95 for direct connection to induction motor individually of suitable rating each including cable of siemens/Gloster/ICC make form bus bar chamber to capacitor and also including L&T/LK/Kilburn make ICTP switches conforming to BIS –4064-1978 or latest with HRC fuses (range to be specified by the tendrerer).
Erection of all equipment including cost of tees, bends, tapers and any other fittings required as per site conditions and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Booster Stage- Phase-II :Pumping Machinery
Supply of submersible pumping set of KSB/Johnston/Kirloskar/Hindustan/Oswal make comprising to latest relevant BIS Code. The pump should be fitted with Bronze impeller of suitable alloys as per IS 8034-1976 latest suitable for clear water having greased packed bearings and shaft with wound stator on motor side and with soft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft coupled to a submersible squirrel cage electric induction motor (water proof type) of required HP, RPM 2900 of KSB/Kirlosker/NGF/Crompton make conforming to BIS 9238-1979 latest with upto date amendments, totally dust and water proof for submersible duty isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and grease packed lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to with stand non vertical loads with minimum wear and tear. It should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor. The pump set should include water level guards, erection clamps , cable clips and depth gauge etc. and suitable for operation on data given below:-
