SCHEDULE `A' is not prepriced by MES and Contractors/Bidders quote there rates in column 5 only.

Dismantling stone set, paving of any description, any thickness upto 300mm laid dry in sub base of existing roads and removal from site complete all as specified and directed.

Removing existing reflective road studs and refixing in position after relaying the road surfaces with nails and epoxy adhesive, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of un-reinforced cement concrete in ground floor and paving not exceeding 15 cm thick (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone/boulder masonry built in cement mortar of any specification and in any position complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance exc 500 m but n. exc 1.5 km and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Surface excavation n.exc ( not exceeding) 30cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ means over area (not exceeding 1.5 m in deep and getting out), in all kind of soil, including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m, complete all as specified and directed. Note: If the damaged / broken the interlocking tiles while removing the pipe line. Contractor shall replaced the broken tiles with new as per existing. The quoted rates including for all the materials / T & P / Machinery used in this item and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.

Rolling and consolidating formation surface in cutting with power road roller exc 8 tonne and not exceeding 12 tonne including necessary preparation for surface excavation to reqd level,gradient and camber including filling in depressions / hollows which occur during the process of rolling complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for GSBC 200 mm thick consolidated thickness in two layers 100mm each as per table 400-1 MORTH specification .spread , rolled with 8-10 ton capacity vibratory roller and cnsolidated to required gradient and camber in two layers complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 225 mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet mix macadum (WMM) using stone crushed aggregate of grading required as per table 400-11 of yellow book of MORTH laid in three layers 75 mm each with mechanical means and rolling with 8-10 tonne power roller over compacted sub base complete all as specified and directed. ( Note-mix will be prepared in mixing plant of suitable capacity)

M&L for preparing surfaces by bruishing with wire brush for removing caked mud, existing grass on road etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaning surfaces with air compressor to remove all loose dust and applying a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (VG-10) applied at the rate of 10 kg per 10 sqm heated on requisite temperature by using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed

M&L for laying of bituminous premixed Semi-dense asphaltic concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with coarse aggregate of grading 1 as per MORTH specification in single layer using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 mixed at the rate of 5.50% by weight of total mix as per design mix including supply and mixing of filler (OPC Cement) laid, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using full width mechanical sensor paver with string sensor and compacted with 8 to 12 tonne power vibratory road roller complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for road line painting not exc 100 mm wide with golden yellow or white thermostatic road marking paint with reflectorised glass beads on bitumen road providing and laying of hot applied thermostatic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorised glass beads @ 250 gm per sqm area , thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRS 35 the finished surface to be levelled , uniform and free streaks and holes in addition where arrow of letters to be provided thermostatic compound may be machine sprayed the colour of compound with trafic diversion arrangement if required as per MORT&H clause 803.4 complete all as specified and directed.

.M&L for laying premix bituminous macadam consolidated thickness 75 mm or less using graded crushed stone aggregate, grading 2 with nominal aggregate size 19mm, mixed with paving bitumen of grade VG-30 mixed at the rate of 4% by weight of total mix,rolled and compacted with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. ( Note-Mix will be prepared in Mix Plant of suitable capacity)

M&L for applying a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (VG-10) applied at the rate of 5 kg per 10 sqm heated on requisite temperature by using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Aluninium stud alloy Die casted of dimension 110x128x30mm dynamically designated having impact strength and-fixed with 2 No. highly reflective reflectors on both sides having the stud of an aluminium stem which is fixed by drilling a hole in the ground for better stability and fixing / sealed with Epoxy (as required) complete all as specified and directed.

M & Lfor continuous brick edging with width equql to the width of brick laid dry on end vertically using old size burnt clay bricks of sub calss';B' complete all as specified and directed.
