SPECIAL REPAIRS/ REPLACEMENT OF HT CABLES AND CONNECTED WORKS IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS AT AIR FORCE STATION CHANDIGARH

Amount

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre deep for laying/taking out of cables and foundation of poles etc. and getting out, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in trenches (soil), including spreading, leveling and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick, complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5metre above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour, sand cushioning with a layer of dry river sand, 80mm thick before laying of cable and 150mm thick after laying of cables (punned down to 180mm thick), in trenches/ducts, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Punned down thickness (overall 18cm), shall be considered for measurement and payment.

Supplying and laying, factory made unreinforced precast concrete cable cover HVP type-1 with peak, of size 300x180x40mm, laid flat and dry in trenches over the cable for protection, length perpendicular to the direction of cable adjacent to each other, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out / down old existing HT 11000 volt grade cables 120 Sqmm, 3 Core, laid in trenches, including bricks/Precast PCC cable cover for protection, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying / fixing in replacement , GI pipe light grade 80mm bore for cable protection fixed to pole/wall or laid under floor/road/pavement,including MS clamps,nut,bolts etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning of High Tension (HT), 11000 Volts (earthed) grade, XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with stranded aluminum conductor, cross sectional area 120 Sqmm, 3core under ground cable including both side connection with cable lugs etc, laid in trenches, along poles or passing through pipes or laid under floor or through walls etc, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning and precast concrete cable cover/bricks for protection of cable shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply, jointing & testing, indoor end termination joint kit (Heat shrinkable) complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 11KV grade, HT, underground XLPE insulated armoured aluminium conductor, 3 core 120 to 185 Sqmm size cable, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, jointing & testing, outdoor end termination joint kit (Heat shrinkable) complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 11KV grade, HT, underground XLPE insulated armoured aluminium conductor, 3 core 120 to 185 Sqmm size cable, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, jointing & testing, indoor/outdoor straight through joint kit (heat shrinkable) complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 11KV grade, HT, underground XLPE insulated armoured aluminium conductor, 3 core 120 to 185 Sqmm size cable, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 600mm x 600mm x 6mm thick burried directly in ground vertically (depth of pit not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level), with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick packed alternate layers of charcoal dust and common salt, electrode connections using galvanized iron strip of size 32mmx6mm thick (upto body of equipment) by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts & GI washers, connected to main switch board or main control board or test point, protected by galvanized iron pipe light grade 40mm dia bore, and watering pipe 20mm dia bore GI medium grade with funnel & wire mesh including all necessary excavation & earth work, PCC chamber in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 & RCC cover, all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Schedule Part-I (2009), testing on completion, complete including dismantling of existing earthing all as specified and directed. Note(s) :- (i) RCC pit cover shall be pre-cast of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1, 80mm thick reinforced with XPM not less than 4Kg/Sqm. (ii) PCC chamber shall be constructed 500 mm away from the edge of earth pit. (iii) Rate shall include GI strip and protection pipe of length 7.5m. (iv) Earth resistance should be less than 3Ohm. In case the test results are not found below 3Ohm, complete earthing will be redone without any extra cost to Govt.

Material and labour for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead or lightning conductor, 25mmx4mm GI strip, fixed to wall on batten with saddles and fixing screws, PVC/ Porcelain insulators etc or recessed or chases or burried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required, fixed in replacement, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing danger notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet vitreous enamelled white with letters figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps bolts and nuts of approved size for HT 250 x 200 mm size complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing, connecting and commissioning HT cubical bus bar panel of 1500 mmx1200 mmx900 mm size, CPRI approved, factory made, out door type (kiosk type), floor mounted, dust and vermin proof (IP-65 protection), suitable for 11000 volts grade, 3 phase, 4 wire AC supply, fabricated out of 3.15 mm thick mild steel CRCA sheet mounted on suitable size angle iron & fixed to 50 mmx50 mmx6 mm angle iron frame and welded to 75 cm long 50mmx50mmx6mm angle iron legs (04 Nos.), front & rear openable, double door type inclusive locking arrangement with provision of 01 No incoming and 02 Nos outgoing cable entries & epoxy powder coated over and including anti corrosive treatment coat (seven tank process), duly fixed danger notice plate on front side, legs grouted in floor in PCC (1:2:4) bed block of size 30cmx30cmx60cm including connecting to cable with cable glands, lugs etc, complete all as specified and directed, comprising of bus bar of copper 630Amps capacity, suitable size (not less than 130mmx70mm) - 2 Nos (set of three), duly sleeved with relevant colour code insulation, mounted on 6 Nos HT epoxy type insulators 11000 volts grade - 02 Sets,including taking out old u/s panel.

Boring holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trenches technology using ultrasoud technique and necessary machine including HDPE pipe of 150 mm dia suitable for 0.4 mpa woking pressure complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggragate as in coping etc including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed ..

Note: The Total amount shall subject to adjustment of credit of Rs.3,95,364.00 for old Materials as per Schedule of Credit.
