Manning and operation of Sewage treatment plant of capacity 240 Cum/day at COD Jabalpur in shift (08 Hrs) each with all consumable material including chemicals (Minimum consumption 25 Ltr/Month of Aquadate-02/MAC in the ratio of 1:4 for descaling in monthly basis and rate shall be included in quoted rate complete all as directed.

Notes for item No – 139 above are as follows:- (a) Repair to system in case of break down, within 24 hours. (b) Repairs to electrical eqpt, accessories as and when required. (c) Repairs to flushing tanks in case of leakage etc. (d) Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly comprehensive maintenance to be carried out and keeping records thereof. (e) To provide additional manpower for rectification of major problems and cleaning of tanks etc. (f) All types of fire eqpts provided in all the installations shall be maintained and operated properly. (g) All electrical fittings and fixtures to be maintained and contractor shall be responsible for any damage.

(h) All types of water tanks incl flushing tanks shall be maintained. (j) All installations to be kept neat and clean all the time and security checks to be carried out daily. (k) All tanks shall be cleaned twice in a year and dates of cleaning shall be marked on tanks.

(l) In case of any damage, misuse, mishandling of Govt property, contractor will be held responsible for the same. (m) Treated water to be tested periodically and record to be maintained. (n) Proper disposal of residual dry waste / other waste material should be carried out by the contractor. The cost of the same is deemed included in the unit rate quoted. (o) Medical needs to be provided by the contractor to the employees as and when required. (p) All safety eqpts such as breathing apparatus, safety belt, air hose respiratory, portable lighting eqpt, driver suit etc for working hazardous condition to be provided by contractor. (q) First Aid Box with basic medicines to be kept in main installation by the contractor. (r) Misuse of electricity and water to be penalised and effective recovery will be made by the department.

(s) All chemicals required for sewage treatments shall be supplied by the contractor and suitable quantity to be maintained as stock for atleast one month as directed by Engr-in-charge. cost of the chemicals and cosumable is deemed included in the unit rate quoted. (t) The Contractor shall get the testing of treated sewage from approved test lab, once in a month to assertain result of treated sewage as per the requirement for which STP has been installed. Quoted rate for the same are deemed to be inclusive in quoted rate. (u) In each shift one operator shall be provided and timing of shift shall be desided by GE / Engr-in-charge.

Additional Notes for item No 139 above : (i) Operator must be skilled and having minimum four year experience in handling / operating sewage treatment plant. The Contractor shall produced experience certificate to GE and shall be got approved by GE before employing the operator. (ii) The operator must adhere dress code as directed. (iii) Daily visual check to be carried out by the Operator and to inform the Engr-in-charge / JE in case any discrapancy. (iv) The contractor will be responsible to keep the plant and its surrounding area clean. (v) The Operator shall maintain all record in log sheet / log book. (vi) All test shall be carried weekly and record therof shall be maintained in a register. (vii) The Contractor maintained a cellphone in all shift with incoming and outgoing facilities and ensure proper functioning for contract period.

(viii) It is the responsibility of AGE/JE to ensure that attendance register is maintained at all the installation duly signed kept on record and payment of trade men for the Nos of days present will only be made, Engineer-in-Charge will be responsible for payment of trade men in his presence. Contractor shall provide proper dress to tradesmen as approved by Eng-in-Charge and during duty hours all tradesmen shall be in proper uniform otherwise necessary recovery @ double the quoted rate for per shift shall be made from his dues.

(ix) In case the contractor does not operate the pumping set/AC Plant for a shift or part thereof due to any reason whatsoever double of the quoted rate to each shift will be recovered.

(x) Leave of deployed person in inescapable cases shall be allowed on prior intimation but Contractor on demand of Engineer-in-Charge, shall arrange alternate arrangment. Payment shall not be allowed for leave period.

(xi) In no case wages of deployed persons shall be less than the Minimum wages fixed by Govt Competent Authority. It is mandatory requirement for Contractor that payment of deployed person shall be made through Cheque/RTGS/Acceptable Electronic Mode only. Proof of payment shall be submitted by Contractor to Engineer in Charge monthaly basis or during claiming on account of Advance (RAR)/FB.

(xii) The Employees Provident Funds & Miscellaneous Provisions (EPF & MP) Act, 1952. shall be strictly adhered to by the Contractor. Social Security to workers i.e. EPF, ESIC, Personal Insurance(if applicable) on part of Employer shall be paid by Contractor and accordingly, Contractor/Bidder shall include all these factors in his quoted rate.

(xiii) Statuatory levies/GST if applicable on part of contracts shall be paid by Contractor and accordingly, Contractor/Bidder shall include all these factors in his quoted rate.

(xiv) Deployed person shall report daily to JE/Engineer in charge or nominated officers by Accepting Officer for their attendence & obtain instructions. An attendence register shall be maintained by Contractor on site shall be certified by MES rep every day.

(xv) T&P - Working Tools/plants, protective cloths, communication & conveyance arrangments shall be provided by Contractor at his own cost.

(xvi) Retrieved materials obtained from replacement by new items shall be deposited in MES store.

(xvii) An uniform of blue shirt/jersy duly embossed "MES OUTSOURCING SERVICES" at back and name plate of the person on front left shall be provided by contractor to all workers at his own cost.

(xviii) Water & electric supply shall be provided by MES free of cost for outsourcing services only.

(xix) Documentation - Attendance register & wages register,Daily work register as per the format provided by the Deptt. shall be prepared & maintained at his own cost.

(xx) The contractor shall arrange introductory meeting of tradesmen/personnels proposed to be employed with GE prior to finalise their employment to as certain their biodata, skill in the respective trade and final aprroval shall rest with GE. Similarly removal of service of any employed personel shall also be with the consent of GE.

(xxi) All tradesman employed shall be insured by the contractor at his cost for the whole contract period from the date of commencemnt for any accident during the service hours.

(xxii) If quoted rates are less than minimum fair wages inclusive of GST, EPF, ESIC as applicable the bid shall be treated as non-bonafide and will be rejected. No objection/claim in this regard will be accepted
