Scarifying or picking up graveled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 Square Metre , exceeding 50mm and not exceeding 150mm deep including removing the material to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and stacking complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.
Premix bituminous macadam with 4% paving using bitumen VG-30 paving grade ( 50 -70 penetration) bitumen binder, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness upto maximum 75mm), complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal), complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.
Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with compressed air to remove all loose dirt etc., and applying evenly a priming / tack coat on existing black top surfaces with paving bitumen primer using paving bitumen VG-10 grade @ 5 Kg per Ten Square Metre and including Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% paving bitumen using bitumen VG-30 paving grade ( 50 -70 penetration) binder content by weight of total mix rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient, complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Note for item No. 1 to 4 : (a) Preparation of mix in hot mix plant, spreading by self propelling mechanical paver and rolling and compaction by set of rollers as specified in particular specifications shall be carried out. Hot mix plant may be installed at any distance but the contractor shall be responsible for maintaining the required temperature of mix under all conditions till it is laid and compacted. Unit rate against these items shall include for carrying out the works with deployment of these machinery for which nothing extra shall be payable and no delay in completion of work shall be acceptable on this account. (b) To achieve marshal stability of 9.0 KN ( as per MORTH 5th revision) and all as per SSR Part-I Clause No. 20.B.4. (c) If qty of binder contents is less than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs 60.00 Per Kg and if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ no adjustment shall be made.
Continuous brick edging, with width equal to the width of the brick, laid dry on end vertically with burnt clay bricks of sub class 'B' bricks, complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Reinforced concrete pipes 300 mm bore, class NP3, laid and jointed complete with collars, complete all as specified and directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge.
Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded aggregate) as in concrete bed to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested for 300mm bore pipes, complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in surface channels and drains including necessary form work and extra for forming fair finished drain or channel for inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred/stopped ends etc, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
Demolition of brick work or stone masonry built in cement mortar including all quoins arches, pillars etc but excluding ashlar facing, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge
Brick work with old size sub class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Chequered cement concrete tiles 200mm x 200mm or 300mm x 300mm having thickness 25mm to 300mm, (lacquar quoted) set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors/ path with using pigments, over and including 15mm thick screed bedding layer in cement mortar in 1:4, complete all as specified and directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge.
Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footparth, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 30mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying 80mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-30 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 30mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with fine sand and cutting of paver block as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand; complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
