Supply & installation, testing and commissioning of silent CPCB approved 437.5 KVA TP Diesel Generating Set having diesel engine Liquid cooled, Electric start, four stroke, cold starting, TCI Aspirated, compression ignition, totally enclosed diesel engine with electronic governor , direct coupled with 437.5 KVA Three Phase alternator at 1500 RPM, 0.8 lagging power factor, providing Three Phase 415Volts, BHP as per manufacturer's recommendation suitable for 50 Hz, H class insulated winding, Close-direct-coupled, Self-excited and self-regulated type, screen protected, mounted on rigid MS sheet channel base-frame. The alternator shall confirm to IS: 13364, IS: 4722, BS5000, IEC: 34 and suitable for Highaltitude condition. having fitted inside Canopy, fabricated out of 1.6 mm CRCA Sheet, cubical type, totally enclosed, Powder Coated, Control Panel and all accessories in- housed in a acoustic enclosure sound proof canopy and sound level should be 75 dB (A) at a distance 1 mtrs as per ISO-8528 Part-1. Note: The Alternator shall be suitably de-rating factor for operation at high altitude (above 3,500 meters AMSL), ( delivery laocation- Karu, Ladakh) considering reduced air density and cooling efficiency as per IS: 13364(Part-2)

(A) Diesel Engine: - Adquate capacity of Diesel engine as accepted by the Accepting Officer based on manufacturers technical details water cooled to drive independently above alternator and after considering derating as per site conditons after generating and reducing power consumed by accessories directly coupled through flexiable coupling multi cylinder multi stroke direct injection, cold starting suitable to deliver 437.5 KVA power at 1500 RPM, as per relevant ISI/BS - 5514/BS-649 with an overload capacity of 10% for half an hour in 12 hours continuous running conforming to the environment (PROTECTION ACT 1986) (29 OF 1986) and as amended vide Gazette of India Notification Part II sections III Sub Section (I) dated 12 Jul 2004. complete with standard accessories all as specified and required for safe handling and operation salient features of accessories shall be as under:-

i) Fly wheel with housing

ii) Cooling system :- Moulded radiator with fan & belts.

iii) Cooling Water pump : - Centrifugal type belt driven.

iv) Exhaust System :- Exhaust System complete with exhaust piping of 150mm dia with MS pipe light grade upto & outside and 1meter away from the enclosure, covered with asbestos rope and aluminium foil of complete with in the enclosure for safe exhaust without transforming vibration to the wall of the enclousre.

(D) Generator Monitoring Control Panel : - Comprising of all standard items as mentioned under this schedule or as per standard practice iginiton key switch and start / stop arrangement, indications for Engine parametes, hour run meter, RPM meter, Engine oil pressure indicator, water/coolent temparature indicator, Battary volt display including suitable size MCCBs and multifuction meter.

i) Safety Controls : - Engine low lube oil pressure high water temparature and over speeding of engine.

ii) Coupling arrngement : - Flexiable coupling, fly wheel to suit flexiable coupling.

iii) Accessories :- AVM Pads built or separtely mounted to manufactrer base frames.

iv) Base Frame : - Made out of ISMC 250 of sturdy design made of MS channel with necessary reinforcement and predetermined holes.

v) MS pipe line to and from the fuel tank to the DG Set.

(E) Alternator :- Standard design alternator rated at 437.5 KVA, net output at site after considering derating as per site conditions at 0.8 (lag) power factor AC, 3 - phase 4 - wire 415 volts 50 Hz, 1500 RPM, self exicited self regulated screen protected drip proof IP 23 enclosure brushless design with widing in pole faces, insulating class 'H' and voltage regulation of + 1% at rated voltage from no load to full load. The alternator shall be confirming to BS 2613/5000 and shall be inposition to generate supply with frequecy regulation with in + 1% tolerace. The alternator will be suitable for tropical climate and shall generally confirm to BS - 2613/5000/ IS - 4722. Note: The Alternator shall be suitably de-rating factor for operation at high altitude (above 3,500 meters AMSL), considering reduced air density and cooling efficiency as per IS: 13364 (Part-2)

iv) Regulation performance: The voltage is kept constant with + 1%, manual voltage adjustment within + 5% .

(F. Civil Works :-

All civil works including PCC plat form as per manufacture's design also 30 cm above the ground. The depth of the foundation and PCC as recommended by the manufacturer.

(G) Rubber Matting of LV grade 19mm thick of suitable size chequred type ISI marked to be laid in front of control panel should be provided.

Note:- The contractor shall arrange for artificial load for testing for final testing of DG Set at site and the cost is deemed to be including in above offer.

(H) Accoustic Enclosure:- Manufactured by OEM suitable for 437.5 KVA DG Set.

(i) NAL approved as per CPCB

(ii) It Should be as per latest rules and regulations of Ministry of Environment and Forest and Pollution control board.

(iii) The generating set battaries and control panel should be inside the enclosure.

(iv) Fuel tank should be out side the enclosure in the sub station building.

v) The accoustic should be composite in construction and fully assembled integral unit.

vi) The battaries should be placed inside the enclosure beside the DG Set on a suitable inlsulated plat form.

vii) The DG Set should be provided with external Emergency stop push button.

viii) The enclosure should be suitably illuminated by suitable capacity of LED fittings.

xi) The noise level should be 75 db at 1m under free field conditions.

xii) The accoustic enclosure parts shall be of powder coated after pre treat ment process. The powder coating shade should be Genset Green. The base frame should be painted with epoxy based black shade.

xiii) Fuel tank as per manufacturer recommendation with inlet and outler connections and fuel level indicator.

xiv) Base frame made out of suitable MS channel duly reinforced and provided with adequate numbers of anti-vibration pads to ensure minimum vibration as recommended by manufacturer.

(i) The Generator set prime mover will produce BHP as per manufacturer's recommendation.

(ii) Rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of cable and terminations form Generator to the AMF Panel, with necessary holes to wall including making good to distrbed surfaces so as to match with the existing finishes all as specified and directed.

(iii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of first filling of lubricant oil.

(iv) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of 12 hours test run at site including of half an hour on 10% overhead in presence of representative detailed by accepting Officer; including FOL, all arrangements are to be made by the contractor for tests.

(v) The contractor shall arrange for artificial load (water load) for testing for final testing of DG Set at site and the cost is deemed to be including in above offer.

(vi) Testing of sound level should carried out at the site in presence of Engr-In-Charge.

(vii) One year maint spare as per manufacturer's maint schedule and as directed by Engr-in-Charge is deemed to be included in the above offer.

(viii) One set of latest Spare part catelogue with price, exploded view of parts and user's manual are deemed to be included in the offer. Note : DG Set should be testing after derating factor

Note : The Gen set must be affixed with label meeting the following requirement ( The label shall be durable and legible) (a) Name and address of the engine manufacturer. (b) Statement that this engine conforms to the environment (PROTECTION) (c) Type and approval certificate number. (d) Date of manufacturing of Gen set.

M&L Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connecting to the galvanised iron strip 32×6mm by means of bolts, nuts , check nuts and washers of galvanized iron and galvanised iron strip protected by provision of GI light grade pipe 40 mm bore including provision of concrete pit made from PCC ( 1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) with 40mm thick cover of RCC 1:2:4 reinforced with XPM (Weight not less than 4 Kg/Sqm) and frame of angle iron 40 x 40 x 6 mm and handle of 6 mm dia MS bar made to shape, GI light grade 20 mm bore pipe for watering perforated at bottom, 1.50 metre long placed on top edge of earth plate, common salt & charcoal filling, with fixing arrangement , funnel, wire mesh and earth work in hard/dense soil , returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metres, all as per electrical plate No 5 of SSR 2009 Part-I and connecting to MCBDB’s earth test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing galvanised strip of size 32 mm x 6 mm complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down carefully copper/aluminum point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete with fittings and fixtures such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, socket, lamp holders brackets, bulk head fittings, tube light fittings etc complete and removing all retrieved materials such as fitting & fixture from the site and also making good disturbed surfaces of wall, floors etc all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for point wiring with 1.5 Sqmm copper conductor (Multi-standard) PVC insulated and unsheathed electric cable 1100 volts in and including PVC casing and capping of 25 mm and above (as per conductor run )with all fittings/ accessories and including PVC insulated and unsheathed electric cable 1100 volts1.5 Sqmm ( multi-stranded) copper conductor single core( Green colour) cable as continuous earth wire connected to common earth dolly including 50 mm deep box made of 2nd class hard board of required size and shape etc covered with 3 mm thick plastic laminated sheet ( Make Hylum) for one light point,bell,exhaust point, bulk head, independent controlled by one, one way switch complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for sub main wiring with 2 run of 4 Sqmm FR, PVC insulated, unsheathed and stranded copper conductor cable with and incl 4 Sqmm (nominal area) FRLS, PVC insulated, unsheathed and stranded copper conductor cable as earth wire connected with thimble from main DB to sub main DB, drawn drawn through & PVC casing and capping of 25 mm and above incl all conduit accessories & fittings / junction boxes / inspection covers etc, with and incl cutting chasing and making good of disturbed surface of wall / floor/ ceiling etc as original by brick work, plastering, white washing, OBD etc as required, complete all as directed.
