Attending of day to day electrical complaints pertaining to internal electrification received through telephone or in person on detailment at MES Service centre located at NAMS Area by locating and rectification of fault from and including electric meter/DB onwards in respect of sub main/point wiring including provisioning of small pieces of electric cable of size 1.5/2.5 Sqmm to 10 Sqmm single core copper conductor and length not increasing 0.50 mtrs and fixtures for power and light socket/light, fan, and bell etc complete and carrying out repairs to the extent of tightening of looseconnections,disconnection and dismantling of faulty wires, battens, conduits, boxes, main switches, MCB's, DB's and other E/M fixtures including providing necessary screws/nuts/bolts/nails/PVC Insulation tap roll for the rectification of defect and refixing of existing dismantled serviceable items and replacement of defective items with new ones with skilled workers in concern trade. Note:-(i) Cost of material for the new fixtures and stores to be supplied by the contractor will be measured and paid under appropriate items and labour cost for the fixing/replacement of unserviceable item shall deemed to be included under this item only. (ii) Complaint pertaining to location and rectification of fault in more than one length of point wiring/sub mainwiring/DB's/fitting or fixtures etc shall be considered as an independent complaint. Similarly complaint pertaining to replacement of two fixtures in one Qtr will also be measured and paid as one complaint only.

(iii) Replacement of more than two fixtures/items but multiple of three fixtures or part thereof in one Qtr/Bldg will be measured as an additional complaint. (iv) In case a Qtr/room is found locked the complaint shall be treated as one only after the completion of work. (v) Necessary tools for tradesman shall be provided by the contractor. (vi) Transportation for tradesman and normal stores required for complaints shall be arranged by the contractor. (vii) Bldgs requiring rewiring of small qty of point wiring if ordered will be measured and paid separately under respective items below (viii) Cost of work requiring replacement of other stores will be measured and paid separately. (ix) Unserviceable Item removed from site to be deposited at MES Yard. it will be given to contractor after completion of work

Supply and replacement of down rod of ceiling fan complete with split pin, hanging clamp and rubber reel (Length of rod not less than 45 cm and not more than 60 cm).

Supply and replacement of steeel screw ( to be used for fixing of fan blades) as per sample /site requirement).

Taking down the ceiling fan in situ and refixing after painting/repairing to ceiling fans including scratching old paint and preparation of surface for painting with one coat of white enameled paint all as specified and directed.

Material and labour of replacement of old/worn out top and bottom canopy of ceiling fan at any location and fixed new canopy at top and bottom of ceiling fan as per existing make complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 mtr and n. exc 1.5 mtr depth for laying of XLPE cable etc and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Returning filling in and including , spreading, levelling , watering and well raming in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified.
