SPECIAL REPAIR TO ROAD IN TECHNICAL AREA UNDER GE AF CHANDIGARH

M&L for Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces area exceeding 400 sqm and depth exceeding 50 mm but not exceeding 100mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Screening road metal, Chippings, etc. on the site of the work, when specially ordered, including removing screened materials clear of screen and stacking in separate heaps for measuring (Materials from both sides of screen measured) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repair to pot holes, depth not exceeding 30mm and area not exceeding 1.0 Sqm each, including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces of road, cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying paving bitumen (VG-10) @ 5kg per ten sqm, putting in premixed well rammed and sealed with binder 6.8Kg/10 Sqm blinded with 0.06 Cum of stone chipping 6.3mm size and again well rammed/ rolled to uniform smooth surface, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for water bound macadam (WBM) 75 mm thick compacted thickness with granite, trap or basalt coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 mm to 40 mm) size, spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

All as per description of serial item No- 4 here in before but except material i.e. stone metal complete all as specified. (Material retrieved vide item no. 1 here in before shall be re used ) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparing water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen (VG-10 grade) @10Kg/10Sqm with mechanical sprayer on black top surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air compressor to remove all loose dust & dirt etc. including draining off water if any from pot holes and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen (VG-10 grade) @5Kg/10Sqm with mechanical sprayer on black top surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for premixed bituminous macadam using paving bitumen (VG-30 grade) @ 4% by weight of total mix using 12 to 25mm graded crushed preheated stone aggregate, laid, rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to required gradient & camber, consolidated thickness 75mm or less, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for painting 2.5 mm thick thermoplast fluorescent paint of colour white or golden yellow or any other shade as approved by GE conforming to BS standard 3262 with 20% glass beads (inter mixed) applied hot with automatic (commercial) machine drive in stripes after preparation of surfaces as per manufacturer's instructions & according to the specifications laid down by IRC & MOST (Ministry Of Surface Transport) Specifications 2001 (4th revision), making lines, broken lines/dashes, arrows etc. on roads and other like surfaces not exceeding 15 cm in width or girth complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.50 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth, for foundations, laying of pipes or similar other purposes not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and getting out in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 200mm internal dia Reinforced concrete pipes, class NP2, laid , jointed and tested complete with collars laid in trenches and jointed in cement mortar complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for PCC 1:3:6 type C2, using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate, as in bed to drain pipes of 200 mm bore, including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipe laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.

Returning,filling in trenches including spreading watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm each layer thick in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and as directed .

M&L for Removing excavated material n exc .50 m and depositing where directed at a level n exc.1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Brick work with sub class ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 metre mean radius in cement mortar (1:4), using old size sub class B bricks, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L Rendering 15mm thick on faces of brick work in CM 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound finishing even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. (WPC shall be measured and paid separately)

Supply only intergral water profing compound complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggragate as in benching & coping including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed .

Demolition of road material upto 50cm thickness consisting of soling, WBM, BM and premixed carpeting and removal of rubbish materiaala outside defence land complete all as specified and directed.

Note: The Total amount shall subject to adjustment of credit of Rs. 13,200.00 for old Materials as per Schedule of Credit.
