RENOVATION OF OFFICE OF STATE HEALTH AGENCY, SARAI BUILDING, GMSH - 16, CHANDIGARH

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

Dismantling of ceramic tiles or vitrified and plaster to making the surface clean for refixing the glazed tiles including removing of malba complete in all respect and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.

Providing and laying Vitrified tiles in floor in different sizes (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS:15622, of approved brand & manufacturer, in all colours and shade, laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand) jointing with grey cement slurry @3.3 kg/sqm including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc. The tiles must be cut with the zero chipping diamond cutter only . Laying of tiles will be done with the notch trowel, plier, wedge, clips of required thickness, leveling system and rubber mallet for placing the tiles gently and easily. Providing and fixing 1st quality ceramic glazed wall tiles (600 x 1200mm) with 3mm spacer conforming to IS: 15622 (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), of approved make, in all colours, shades except burgundy, bottle green, black of any size as approved by Engineer-in-Charge, in skirting, risers of steps and dados, over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3(1 cement : 3 coarse sand) and jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg per sqm. The groves are to be filled with cementitious grout mix with proportion of 0.90 kg grout and 0.10 kg of hardener for each kg of filling material complete as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Wall painting with premium acrylic emulsion paint of interior grade, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour. Two coats

Applying priming coats with primer of approved brand and manufacture, having low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content. With water thinnable cement primer on wall surface having VOC content less than 50 grams/litre

Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paint and the like by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete.

Providing and applying cement based putty on old work (Birla, jk or equivalent) to the required finish complete in all respect and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq.meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. With cement mortar 1:4 (1cement: 4 coarse sand)

Providing and fixing roller blinds of approved make (D’Decor, Vista, home Decor or equivalent), shade and colour as approved by Engineer in Charge. The blinds shall be spring loaded resin operated media of polyester able limit rays allowing natural illumination. Spring loaded resin mounted part made up of MS zinc coated of thickness of 2mm molded in PVC. Mounting brackets must have provision cushioning to reduce noise during operation & must have provision of wall as well as ceiling installation The idler pin made of zinc plated MS of 9mm outer diameter surrounded by bearing balls to support blinds at other end. This bidirectional blind shall be operational by assistance of polyester cord. This polyester cord should be molded in side PVC beads of 4.5 mm outer dia. The blinds shall be operational without any hindrance. The desk let assembly shall be flip-up type and shall be made up of extension tube of 1.6+/- 0.02cm dia X 0.22+/- 0.016 cm thick MSERW (As per approved sample to entire satisfaction of Engineer in Charge.)
