Excavation in hilly area in all heights and depths and in all kind of soil by manual /mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rock, hard rock chiselling, wedging out of rock(where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil complete including setting out true to the required lines grades ,width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown in the drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site according to the MORT&H technical specification section 300 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same within all leads and lifts in acquired width of road and transportation of unuseful material for filling in road way. Camber, embankment for grade improvement and disposal of all surplus material to the approved dumping site through all modes of transporation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means alongwith its leveling fine dressing. Measures and other incedental necessary to complete the work by mechanical means/ labour if required. Recovery of stone to the tune of 5472.46 cubic metre at the rate of Rs. 300 ( Rupees three hundred) only per cubic metre shall be effected from the contractor or runnings on pro-rata basis per actual quantity executed. Any loss to the public private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor. Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 as per MORT&H Specification Clause 305 or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including the octroi, royality, GST, toll tax, Malkana or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Loosening of ground upto a level of 500mm (five hundred millimetre ) below the sub grade level, watered, graded with motor grader and compacted in layers to meet the requirements of table 300.2 with three wheel 80-100 (eighty to hundred) kN static roller for sub grade construction as per MORT&H technical specifications clause 305.3.4 or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals.
