Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 grade pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg. per sqm. On the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No.503 (5th edition) 2013 as per MoRT&H specification (N.S.)

Providing and Laying 80 mm thick Compacted bituminous macadam in (BM) in one layer by 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant and paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade as per clause No. 504 table No. 500-4 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th Revision) of 2013 using minimum 3.3 % bitumen grade VG-30 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respects i/c cost of bitumen, instruction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification in mandatory. Note:- Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & Stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti-stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and noting extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-Charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor. If bitumen required is this account more than 3.3% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note: - Where there is BM on existing black top , cracks shall be sealed as MoRT&H specification 5th revision clause No. 3004.3, which may consists of (i) Fog seal/ or (ii) crack filling and or (iii) patch work repair as required at site in accordance with clause No. 3004.3.2, 3004.3.3 and 3004.2 of MoRT&H specification 5th revision respectively. Proper measurement and consumption shall be entered in MB for cracks sealed but no payment on this account shall be made as crack filling is incidental to work.

Providing and laying 20mm thick premix carpet (PC) excluding cost of tack coat, with mixed material brought from Drum type Hot mix plant and laying with paver finisher and compacting with road roller to achieve specified value of compaction and direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, sign board and night watch, complete in all respect. i/c cost of Bitumen VG-10 grade as per clause 510 MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 (NS). Providing and laying ‘B’ type seal coat with VG-10 grade bitumen excluding cost of tack coat, with mixed material brought from Hot mix plant and laying with paver finisher and compacting with road roller to achieve specified/desirable value of compaction as per direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, sign board and night watch, complete in all respect as per clause 511 and 510.1.3 of MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 (NS).

Providing & fixing road side delineator of height 1200 mm made of M. S. tube size 100 x 80 mm having thickness 1.2mm of height 900 mm and balance 300 mm of M. S. angle 25 x 25 x 3 mm. Having micro prismatic retro-reflective panel conforming to IRC : 67-2012 type 4 HIP and of size 80mm x 150mm on both sides as per clause No. 800 of MORT&H. Complete delineator processed by heat treatment process to makes it resistant to all weather effects fixed in C.C. 1:2:4 block size of 300 x 300 x 450 mm as clause No. 806 of MORT&H specification 5th revision 2013.

Pavement Marker (Cat Eyes) Moulded shank raised pavement markers made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 KG tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No. W/NH/33023/10-97-DO III dt. 11.06.1997. The height width and length shall not be exceed 50mm, 100mm and 100 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqm. On each side and the slope to the base shall be 35+/- degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical double shanks, (of diameter not less than 19+/-2 mm and height not less than 30+/- mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kg. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the double shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer’s recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer (of reputed make such as Avery Dennison/3M)

Providing & fixing retro-reflective light bollards 1500 mm high as per site requirements, using non-metallic micro prismatic retro reflective sheets conforming to IRC : 67-2012 type 4, HIP specification fixed on 3 mm thick aluminium composite material sheet as base having 0.5 mm thick aluminium on both sides having circular board of size 450mm dia, sheeting of blue back ground and white arrow. The order board will be of size 600 mm x 400 mm made up of high intensity retro-reflective sheeting type 4 fixed over aluminium composite panel sheet 3 mm thick both of the boards fixed on 80 mm NBdia 16 gauge M.S. pipe duly printed. The board to be fixed in CC 1:2:4 block of size 300x300x450mm.

Providing and fixing RCC village Boards 1.85x0.90x0.075mtr with CC 1:1½:3 including cost of steel and 6mm thick CM plaster 1:4, loading and un-loading carriage at site of work, fixing of site in CC 1:4:8 and painting sign board with synthetic enamel paint two coat complete in all respect as per drawing and design. S. angle 25 x 25 x 3 mm and post of 50 x 50 x 5 mm, 1500 mm high embedded into 0.3 x 0.3 x 0.3 m M20 grade concrete as per site requirements, using non-metallic micro-prismatic retro reflective sheet confirming to IRC: 67-2012 type IV specification fixed on 3 mm thick aluminium composite. Material sheet as base board with pressure sensitive adhesive having 0.5 mm thick Aluminium on both sides.

Providing and installing shoulder mounted direction signage of various sizes using non-metallic micro prismatic retro reflective sheet conforming to IRC-67-2012 type IV, HIP specification fixed on 3 mm thick Aluminium composite panels as base board with pressure sensitive adhesive having 0.5 mm thick Aluminium on both sides supported on single or two nos, Mild steel pipe post 80 mm NB medium class 4 mm thick embedded in M-20 grade concrete foundation of size (450 mm X 450 mm X 600 mm) / (600 mm X 600 mm X 750 mm) complete as per drawings Technical specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. size 1200x600 mm.

Providing & Marking center line / side line 2.5mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10cms wide/ 15cm wide complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site confirming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/ Latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/Berger-Sigmarc/Prismo. The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-Charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirement of the specifications. The reflectorzing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads .the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (part-3). Note:- Before start of work the contractor shall give brand , batch no. , manufacturing date of the material to be used and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use.
