Providing replacement of damaged landing door set of existing 20 passenger elevator installed in special ward block of MGMSC Khaneri at Rampur Bushahar District Shimla.

Replacement, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a landing door for a passenger lift of clear opening size 1200 mm × 2000 mm, complete with header and all necessary accessories. The scope of work includes dismantling and removal of the existing landing door assembly, if any, and providing a new fire-rated stainless steel landing door conforming to the specified safety standards. The door assembly shall include the door panels, frame, header, tracks, rollers, guides, interlocking device, door sill, locking arrangement, brackets, fasteners, and all other required fittings and accessories necessary for proper installation and operation. The landing door shall be securely fixed in the lift shaft opening with proper alignment, ensuring smooth and safe operation in coordination with the lift car door mechanism. The work shall also include sealing, finishing, and making good of any disturbed surfaces around the door frame during installation. After completion of installation, the contractor shall carry out all required testing and commissioning to ensure proper functioning of the door, including checking the door alignment, interlock system, safety locks, and smooth opening and closing operation. The entire work shall be executed using approved materials and workmanship, complete in all respects, and shall be carried out strictly as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

The scope includes supplying approved quality granite/marble slabs of suitable thickness, size and finish, and fixing them properly in position along with mild steel (MS) channels used as supporting members or edge reinforcement wherever required. The MS channels shall be of appropriate size and section, properly cut, aligned and securely fixed to provide adequate structural support to the stone work. The item also includes all necessary accessories such as brackets, fasteners, clamps, anchor bolts, screws, packing materials, and fixing compounds required for proper installation. The granite or marble shall be carefully placed, levelled, and aligned to achieve a neat and durable finish, with joints properly filled and surfaces cleaned after fixing. The contractor shall ensure that the stone is free from cracks, properly polished where required, and fixed firmly to avoid displacement or vibration. The work shall include all labour, materials, tools, lifting arrangements, cutting, dressing, and finishing operations necessary to complete the installation. The entire job shall be complete in all respects, ensuring proper stability, alignment, and aesthetic appearance, and shall be executed strictly in accordance with site requirements and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
