Pump House at Kohla
Sector Reserviors:- Designing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning (to be approved by the competent authority) RCC Circular under ground/partial under ground storage reservoirs as per capacity given below at various stages/sites including excavation in foundation in all kinds of soil. including PCC (1:3:6) in foundation and M:30 design mix in bottom slab/raft ,walls and beams. And RCC (1:1.5:3) in roof slab/dome with provision of inspection path around the dome with all alied Civil Works such as c/o chamber for valves, refilling and disposing of surplus excavated earth with in all leads and lifts. The job also includes providing lowering, laying, erecting, hoisting and jointing of pipe assembly for inlet, outlet, overflow and scour pipe with bye pass arrangement consisting of GI / MS pipes special and valves of required classes and dia and all other accessories required such as MS ladders inside and outside, CI cowl type ventilator, SFRC manhole covers with frames of heavy duty with proper locking arrangement, water level indicator. The tanks shall be hydraulically tested for water tightness, All works shall be conforming to relevant IS code. The cost of valves,bulk meter/ flow meter shall be included in the rates of tanks .complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge .The contractor shall provide 6 sets of approved drawing and design to the department including cost of site development required as per site conditions. Capacity with 10.00 mtrs. Staging height from ground level to bottom of dome slab comprising of inlet, scour & over flow pipes as per details given below from ground level to tank including bends of required degrees,valves of required size conforming to relevant codes RCC Sprial 1.0 wide stair case including MS pipe railing as per IS specification, steel ladder 45 cms. wide of usual height as per site requirement , SFRC manhole cover ( medium duty) of 500mm dia with frame having locking arrangement for manhole cover and ventilator at top dome with minimum opening of 90x90cms. water level indicator including floats and measuring gauge, lightening conductor with earthing arrangement etc.The RCC over head reservoir shall include randering/plastering of the uneven expose surface, two coats of snowcem paint and any other component requuired for the completion of the job to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The offers shall also include detailed soil test report structural drawing/ design calcualtions to be approved by the competent authority based on the raft foundation by taking seismic forces in the design calculation expension joints as required at site. Raw Water Pumping Machinery
Providing and erection of 2 Nos. submersible Raw water pump sets of KSB/Kirloskar/Calama/Johanson/Sabar/BS/Oswal/Crompton/any other approved make of JSV comprising to latest relevant BIS Code. The pump should have C.I. impeller of suitable alloys as per BIS 5659-1979 with latest amendments (if any) suitable for raw water with turbidity upto 10000 PPM having water lubricated bearing bush and stainless steel shaft with stator on motor side and with soft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft coupled to a submersible squirrel cage electric induction motor of 3 star rating (water proof type) of required HP, RPM 2900 conforming to BIS 9283-1979 latest with up to date amendments, totally dust and water proof for submersible duly isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and grease packed lubricated to with stand long vertical loads with minimum wear and tear. The power of electric motor/motors should be at least (+) 10% in excess of the maximum power required by the pump/pumps in the operation range of (+) 10% and (-) 15% of the duty point head. It should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor. The pump should include water level guards, erection clamps, cable clips and depth gauge with upto date amendments. It should include cost of bearing nuts bolts and painting etc. The pumping machinery shall be installed and anchored properly. All electrical equipments such as Starter, ICTP switches, MCB/MCCB, Bush bar chamber, Panel board indicating lamps, Ammeter, Voltmeter, Hour run meter should be of electronic type , incoming and outgoing water proof cable for panel board, Double loop earthing, copper cable pressure gauge, capacitor, common header, sluice valve, NRV including erection and testing complete involving all wear and tear at the time of erection and testing The work should be completed to the entire satisfaction to the Engineer-in – Charge. The rates shall be for complete Job to run the machinery in proper working. and should meet with the requirements. For detailed design parameters/ requirements are given in (Data sheet No. 1) .

Excavation in foundations and trenches (for pipes and pits) upto all depths etc. in all kinds of soil such as pick work, jumper work and saturated soil blasting in soft/hard rock or chiseling or wedging out of same where blasting is prohibited in all leads and lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, leveling of beds to correct grade including shoring strutting, planking timbering and dewatering wherever required, stacking usable and unusable material/soil separately and after laying jointing and testing of pipes, returning the usable soil in 15 cm layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil/unusable material as directed within all leads and lifts including restoration of unmetaled surfaces to its original condition and including cost of diversion of traffic, night signal boards, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects within all leads and lifts as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing, laying, jointing and testing GMS pipes flanged/Butt welded pipes including cost of bends complete as per IS:1239-2004 ( Part-I) , as per dimensions, weights and test pressure mentioned below in a random length of 4 to 7 meters. the butt welded joints 99 % & MS flanges 1% are to be provided as per table given below conforming to IS-6392-1971 (latest with up to date amendments) and welding of M.S flanges as per IS:816-1965 with electrode as per IS:814-1991 including required number and size of M.S nuts and bolts as per IS:1369-1967 & compressed asbestos fibre gasket sheet not less than 3 mm in thickness as per IS:2712-1998. The welding of flanges to be done on both faces in three layers to make the joint leak proof and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
