Supply, mixing and application two component structural grade polymer modified reinstatement mortar, where local spalling has taken place or shuttering is not possible. The morter can be applying in layers not exceeding 6mm thick in each layer in and upto any thickness in smaller vertical pockets and upto any thickness in horizontal applications. The mortar should have a minimium compressive strength 12N/mm2 in 1 day and 45N/mm2 in 28 days. Minimum flexural strength should be 8N/mm2 in 28 days. A modified styrene butadience emulsion for use as a bonding aid and gauging liquid for cementious system to be mixed with cement slurry before the application of modified polymer mortar to be used @ 6 ltr/bag of cement. Note for Item No 183.00 to 203.05 (i) The system (Lift) shall be guaranteed against maintenance and repair including spares for a period of one year from the certified date of completion of this contract and the cost of these shall be deemed to be included in the unit rates quoted against the lifts . The lump sum cost of above lift shall be deemed to include cost of comprehensive maintenance in defect liability period of all the lifts provided by the contractor under this contract for a period of one year from the certified date of completion of the work. For this a sum of Rs. 4,00,000.00 (Rupees Four Lakhs only) shall be retained from the final bill of this contract till satisfactory completion of said comprehensive maintenance period of lifts as certified by the GE. The amount so retained shall be released by the GE after expiry of satisfactory comprehensive maintenance in defect liability period.
(ii) The bidder/ tenderer is be advised to visit existing lifts, lifts well, machine room at site, before quoting his offer and nothing will be paid on this account. Irrespective of the fact if the Bidder has visited the site or not, it shall be assumed that he has visted the site and nothing extra shall be payable on account of any variation in site conditions than those specified in tender. (iii) The quoted rate shall deemed to include the cost of minor civil works, MS Beam, MS rail with fixing arrangement including making good to the disturbed surface to match with the existing. (iv) The lifts shall comprise of all latest fail safe measures as specified in relevant IS Codes (IS-14665 of 2015: Part-I, IS-14665 of 2009: Part -V, IS-4591 of 2012, IS-15785 of 2007) and National Building Code – 2016 Section-5 part-8 as revised from time to time. (v) The wiring of lift shall be with copper conductor, stranded, ISI marked of suitable size. The wiring in the lift well shall be in MS conduit, ISI marked medium grade of suitable size. Suitable sockets/lights shall be provided as directed in the lift shaft. (vi) If anything missed above but is technically required for efficient working of the lift is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (vii) Instruction shall be provided by the manufacturer inside and outside the car. The instructions shall be written on a metallic sheet with embossed letters matching with car decor/outside decor all as directed. (viii) A board depicting manual rescue procedure to be provided at location as directed. (ix) The comprehensive maintenance of lift shall be executed through OEMs or their accredited/ authorized agencies.
(x) The contractor shall submit MOU with the OEMs or their accredited/ authorized agencies for comprehensive maintenance of defect liability period after one month of date of commencement. (xi) The quoted rate is deemed to include the above provisions as specified above. (xii) After errection of lift it must be tested from IEM in presence of vendor. (xiii) In case of any specific capacity of passenger are not manufactured by the any above OEM, the contractor shall provide nearby higher capacity of passenger by OEM without any extra cost to the department. (xiv) GA drawings shall be submitted by the contractor prior to execution of work for approval of GE (xv) In the above description, if any thing is left out but it is a mandatory requirement to comply relevant IS/NBC's directive or anything more provided by the OEM for better performance of the lift , which may be provided to be included in the cost for extra items shall deemed to be included in the unit cost quoted. No extra payment shall be allowed on this ground lateron.
Materials and labour for earthing as in repair complete with galvanised iron earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick, burried directly and preferably vertically in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level connetced with galvanised strip of size 32x6mm by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washers made of galvanised iron or steel earthing lead to be protected by galvanised iron pipe 40 mm bore (medium grade) and other end connected to earthing test point or lightening arrestor or main controlling switch as directed including providing funnel with 20mm bore galvanised iron pipe (light grade), wire mesh, charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm (compacted thickness) all round the earth electrode, concrete earth pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (with 20mm graded aggregate), 50mm thick precast RCC (1:2:4) cover slab (re-inforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 15 cm C/C bothways and suitable handle made of 10mm dia) including necessary earth work in excavation, returning filling and removal of surplus earth upto a distance not exceeding 50 m etc all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I(2009) complete including testing on completion all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.
Supply and fixing in repair for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 32x6mm galvanised iron strip.and all as per directed.
