REPAIR/MAINT OF FIRE FIGHTING PIPE LINE,FIRE HYDRANT VALVES AND CONNECTED ITEMS UNDER AGE(I) AF MANAURI

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits,manholes, pier holes, for laying of pipes, UG cable etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Returning filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material n.exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 m above starting point complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for centrifugally cast (spun) ductile iron pressure pipes 150 mm bore for water with socket & spigot ends confirming to IS 8329/2000 in any length for classification of K9 suitable for rubber gasket push on with cement mortar lining inside the pipe with outside zinc coating as per IS 8329/2000 including taking down old unsv pipes complete all as specified and as directed .

Supply, laying, jointing and leakage testing for GI Pipe 50 mm bore medium grade with all necessary fittings such as bend, tee, elbow, union, reducer etc, laid in trenches / floor/ walls etc including taking down old unserviceable pipes complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (i) The laying and jointing of pipes are required to be carried out in short / long stretches catering to specific requirements.) (ii) Excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid separately.

S&F in repair cast iron sluice valves 150 mm dia heavy duty class PN-1.6, IS-14846 with flanged ends, with high tensile stainless steel spindle and Cast iron wheel including 4mm thick rubber gasket joint, nut bolts etc all as specified and directed. Note : Quoted rate shall be inclusive of the cost of earth work as required at site.

Supply & fix in replacement of fire hydrant landing valve type 'A' (single head outlet) of 63 mm dia conforming to IS 5290 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for covered box made out by GI sheet minimum 4 mm thick in suitable size minimum 60 CM X 60 CM with 80 CM height with mounting bracket (internal size minimum 6 inches working space around the valve ) as per site requirement to cover the stop valve/ fire hydrants / hose box for hose reel of 20 mm size of 30 meter length complete with coupling branch pipe and nozzle , MS sheet 2 mm thickness etc with locking arrangement front side door hinges mounting on angle frame in size 30x30 x 5 mm thick and grouting in cement mortar 1:3 ( minimum 15 cm in ground ) incl painting on both side surface by two coat of synthetic enamel paint (red colour) over a coat of red oxide primer and marking (as given by Deptt) in standard size using different colour complete all as required at site including cutting welding jointing etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.
