E-Tender for Replacement of Distressed RCC Chajjas With Modular FRP Chajjas At RBI Colony, Shalimar Bagh

Demolishing RCC work manually/by mechanical means including cutting steel reinforcement, separating and sorting materials, lowering debris to ground level with safety ropes/chutes, and disposal of generated malba to authorized municipal dumping ground including loading, unloading and cleaning as per the direction of Bank' s engineer. Note: 1. Proper safety measures shall be taken to avoid damage due to falling debris during dismantling. 2. Volume of concrete before the demolition shall be measured for payment purpose.

Providing and erecting M.S. double scaffolding/cup-lock staging in width up to 2.50m and height up to 21 m. Rate shall include the cost of all material and labour required for proper erection and removal of scaffolding, transportation etc. complete. Note: 1. The payment will be made once irrespective of the duration of scaffolding. 2. This item to be used judicially, necessary deduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done.

Repairs to patches (15-20 mm avg.) in patches in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand) mixed with integral waterproofing compound as per manufacturers specification including cutting chases, edge hacking and curing as per the directions of Bank's engineer

Finishing with exterior premium acrylic smooth paint (two coats) with silicone additives of approved make and shade on repaired wall bands and surrounding periphery.

Providing and fixing in proper line, level and at any height, 600mm wide (horizontal) and 4mm thick FRP sloping sunshades/Chajjas of required lengths as per the size of openings. The sunshades shall be ready made FRP of approved color and make with proper reinforcements and stiffeners provided at intermittent locations/edges to give required strength to the sunshades as per manufacturer's specifications. The FRP chajja should be manufactured using unsaturated polymer resin, duly reinforced with fibre glass chopped strand mat (CSM) as per manufacturer's specifications. The sunshades design shall be with minimum 100mm drop on front portion, side gable ends and edges of not less than 60mm to fix on the wall. The rate shall be inclusive of fixing the chajjas with dash fasteners at required spacing, filling the gaps at wall junction with fiber glass mesh sheet combined with polymeric resin of approved make to get watertight and leak proof joint etc. all complete as directed by Bank's Engineer. (NOTE: Only exposed plan area of chajja will be considered for payment) The rate shall be inclusive of all leads and lifts, labour, material, transportation excluding of scaffolding which is already considered to be measured and paid under item No.2.
