Maintenance and Operation of Stand DG Sets of various capacities , installed at various locations as under:- (a) DG Sets installed in Zone A & B shall be operated in three shift by One FGM per Shift for each Zone as under:- (i) 1st Shift from 06:00 Hrs to 14:00 Hrs with one FGM . (ii) 2nd Shift from 14:00 Hrs to 22:00 Hrs with one FGM (ii) 3rd Shift from 22:00 Hrs to 06:00 Hrs with one FGM (b) DG Sets under Zone A Area:- (i) DG Sets of capacity 62.5 KVA at ATC Complex. (ii) DG Sets of capacity 62.5 KVA at CEO Complex (iii) DG Sets of capacity 62.5 KVA at SMC (iv) DG Sets of capacity 82.5 KVA at AF Net (v) DG Sets of capacity 125 KVA at PTT (vi) DG Sets of capacity 35KVA-02 Nos at Incinator (c) DG Sets under Zone B Area:- (i) DG Sets of capacity 62.5 KVA at Base OPS. (ii) DG Sets of capacity 82.5 KVA at Transmeter (iii) DG Sets of capacity 62.5 KVA at HRDF (iv) DG Sets of capacity 100 KVA-03 at 151 SQN (v) DG Sets of capacity 30KVA at Logestic

Note:- (a) The quoted unit rate against above item shall be based on minimum wages as notifed by the Government of India / State Govt. / Union Teritory / Local body which ever is higher including all statuarry provisions such as EPF, ESIC, Bonus, LWC, Taxes etc as applicable as on Bid Sub End Date. The quoted unit rate shall not be less than these provisions in any case. (b) Contractor shall claim RAR/FB payment along with documentary proof towards payent of Min Wages, EPF, ESIC, LWC etc. as applicable. In case any variation same shall be adjusted as per provisions stipulated in CA. (c) Quoted unit rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of all the documents ,Log sheet, attendance register which shall be maintained by the operator during currency of work. (d) Sum of double the quoted rate will be recovered in case operator found absent in the installation. Suitable reliever shall be provided during off shift operator. (e) Tools for minor repair be provided by the Contractor. (f) Uniform with safety shoe, first aid box for operator will be provided by the contractor.

Note (Contd....):- (g) The operator should posses 4-5 years minimum ITI/ Experience by the OEM in operation & maintenance of DG Sets and same also be approved by the accepting officer within one week from the issue of work order. (h) Salary of the operators be paid by the contractor in their respective adhar linked accounts confirming to labour law of Andaman Nicobar Govt and summary will be produced to the department at time of payment. (j) Man power shall have insurance for Rs. 2.00 Lakh provided by the Contractor. (k) The necessary gland packing for pumps and control valves to avoid leakage of water and greasing of all bearings in every four months interval carried out with out any extra cost.

Comprehensive maintinace and preventive maintenance DG Sets of capacity 30 KVA through qualified technician as per OEM instructions complete all as directed by Engineer in Charge. Note:- (i) The complete periodical maintinace of Stand by DG Set to be carried out through out entire contract period. Contractor shall quote their rate considering each DG Set (ii) All consumeable /spare required for above maintinace shall be measured & paid under respective item. (iii) Any minor repair occured to be cleared within 24 Hrs and major repair will be cleared within one week. (iv) Proper record of minor & major repair shall be maintained. (v) All the major/minor repair shall be carried out well qualified technician having minium 5 years working experience. (vi) Diesel for running of DG set shall be issued by Depptt free for filling. (vii) As per OEM maintinace schedule consumeable parts / oil shall be replaced and same shall be measured & paid under respective item

M&L for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 600mx600mmx6 mm, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr deep below normal ground level, connected to GI earth strip 25x4 mm by by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of GI or steel and copper earth strip and connected to earthing test point / distribution board/equipments or any other indicated situation all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part I (2009) and testing on completion including necessary excavation in any type of soil, returning filling, removing of soil and 1.5 mtr length GI medium grade 20mm dia pipe with funnal and wire mesh, PCC chamber of 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm grade stone aggregate, 40 mm thick RCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate and reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars at 150mm c/c on both ways pre cast chamber cover with lifiting handle 16mm dia round bars, Gi pipe medium grade 40 mm dia for earth strip protaction including charcol, common salt complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- GI earth strip above to 7.5 mtr long shall be measured and paid separetly).
