PART: I : CIVIL WORKS
REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE

Note:- i) Area of form work in contact with concrete shall only be measured for payment & shop boards for construction joints etc. will not be measured for payment. iii) The rate for formwork shall include all type of strucutural/RCC elements and all geometrical shapes including circular and any other curved surface at all height and locations with independent staginghaving adequate additional bracing, proping, intermediate/multiple staging wherever required.
Providing, erection, fixing in position, striking/removing and cleaning steel/timber shuttering & centering for form work at all level & locations for all geometrical shapes and designs as per drawings including rails, bracings, props, brackets, cutting holes for pipes etc., providing & applying approved form oil on all surfaces of form work coming in contact with concrete including close hacking of all exposed concrete work after removal of form work, all materials, labour etc. complete as per specifications, drawings & as direted by the Engineer-in-Charge. PART I-C : STEEL REINFORCEMENT WORK
Reinforcement for RCC work including supplying steel bars of Thermo Mechanically Treated of grade Fe-500D or more bars of approved brand and various diameters as required at site of work including loading, unloading, transporting, decoiling, straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding with 18 gauge, soft drawn annealed steel binding wire including carrying out various tests as required etc. all as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Cost of binding wire shall be borne by the contractor & shall not be measured for payment).

PART - I-D : MASONRY WORK
Note:- a) The contractor shall get approved the samples of Light weight Autoclaved Aeroted Concrete (AAC) blocks of Grade 1 & density 551 to 650 kg/cum confirming to IS:2185 (Part 3) from the Engineer-in-Charge before procurement on large scale and shall maintain the same for the entire work. b) Necessary Openings/ nitches/ cut-outs, wherever required as per drawings and asked for by the Engineer-in-Charge, shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost. c) The rate shall inculde cost of making the masonry to all geometrical shapes and sizes without any extra cost to the Department.
Light weight Autoclaved Aeroted Concrete (AAC) blocks masonry with 150 to 300mm thick with Grade 1 AAC blocks of density 551 to 650 kg/cum confirming to IS:2185 (Part 3)in super structure above plinth level with RCC band at sill level and lintel level with approved block laying polymer modified adhesive mortar to correct line, level and plumb including raking out joints, curing, scaffolding etc. complete as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (The payment of RCC band and reinforcement shall be made for seperately).
Providing and laying Light weight Autoclaved Aeroted Concrete (AAC) blocks masonry 100mm / 125mm thick with Grade 1 AAC blocks of density 551 to 650 kg/cum confirming to IS:2185 (Part 3) including providing and placing in position 2 Nos 6 mm dia M.S. bars at every third course of masonry work for partition walls,dwarf walls, parapets, under platforms, curtain walls, fins, external boxing etc. at all floors and locations as per drawing in C.M. 1:4 to correct line, level & plumb including scaffolding, raking out joints, curring etc. complete as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge
PART-I-E : FLOORING WORK
Note:- a) The floor finish level shall be generally in level matching with the surrounding floor finish level & as per drawing. Noextra payment shall be entertained for matching the floor differences. B) Adjucents of levels in thickness of mortar bedding due to different types of flooring, if any, shall be done by the contractor without any extra cost to the Department. c) The Contractor shall submit and get approved the samples for flooring, skirting, dado tiles/granite /kota stone for approval of the Engineer-in-Charge before bulk procurement. d) Pattern & design of flooring/skirting/dado shall be approved by the Engineer-in-Charge before commencement of work. e) Exposed edges of all natural stones used for the work like Kotah, Marble, Granite etc. shall be machine cut and shall have uniform thickness and mirror polished unless otherwise mentioned. f) The rate shall include cost of making the flooring to all geometrical shapes and sizes without any extra cost to the Department.
Providing & laying at all floors & locations Vitrified tile of approved make colour & make having minimum 8mm thickness (or shall be as per manufacturers specification) in flooring/ skirting/ dado/ clading at all floors and location in approved pattern and colour laid over cement mortar bedding/ backing, close jointed and grouted with cement slurry and approved pigment as per manufactuerer's specifications, finished to level, line, slope and plumb, cutting of tiles, wastage, making openings/ cut out if necessary, final cleaning of surfaces, curing etc. complete all as per drawings, specifications & as per drawings, speecifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

In flooring & staircase landings at specified areas with mirror polished 17/18mm thick granite stone slab in required sizes, shade, shape and pattern in plain/ curved or any geometric shape and including 20mm thick cement mortar bedding of mix 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse san) including grey cement slurry at 4.40 kg/m2 over bedding and matching sluryy with white cement at 2.20 kg/ m2 for grouting the joints.
In skirting(normal and sloped) with 17/18mm thick mirror polished granite stone over and including 12mm thick cement moratr 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) backing.
For treads 17/18mm thick mirror polished in single piece of approved shade laid over 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) bedding, including providing 3 nos.V grooves along length of each tread for antiskidding etc. complete.

17/18mm thick black granite stone door frame for toilet including providing and fixing 3nos. 90mm long stainless steel screws on each vertical side and 2 nos. 75mm long stainless steel screws on top with rawl plug by drilling and finishing with approved putty with suitable pigment etc. complete all as per drawings and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

PART I-F : DOORS AND WINDOWS
Note:- a) The items door frames, window frames shall include sealing the joints all round with to the brick work/ concrete and doors or windows with approved mastic filler cement grout/ epoxy compound/ polysulphide compound or by any other means whatsoever, by the contractor at his own cost as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge to make the joints watertight. b) The work contemplated under the item for supplying and fixing the window/ door frames shall be got done by the contractor through specialised agencies in the field, approved by the Department. c) One sample each of the door frame, shutter and window with all fittings and fixtures alongwith locking arrangement including glass panels etc. complete as per schedule of quantities drawing and specifications should be submitted for preliminary inspection before procurement on large scale. The contractor shall submit six copies of shop drawins for windows, ventilators and steel door with frames showing dimensional details of construction etc. for approval of the Engineer-in-Charge. After preliminary inspection, the sample at site to ascertain its performance. Large scale manufacturing should be taken up only after rectification of defects etc. to the full satisfaction of the Department and after obtaining formal approval in writing of the Engineer-in-Charge.
d) Door frames, shutters and the windows to be supplied and fixed in position should cater the dimensional tolerance of the openings to an extent of (+/-) 2%. The rates quoted by the Tenderers should hold good for such variatio. Test shall be conducted by the Department for the flush doors as per IS-2202-1983 Part-I from each consignment and the cost incurred on this account shall be borne by the contractor. e) For bonding the flush doors, block boards, plywood and all types of wood works, phenol-formaldehyde synthetic resin type adhesives conformingto IS-848-1957 shall be used.
Providing & fixing pressed steel door frames of following profile fabricated out of 1.25mm thick G.I. sheet of coating (class VIII of zink coating) 120gram/ sqm, manufactured by Sail/ Lloyds/ Jindal or equivalent of profiles/ size generally conforming to IS 4351-2003 with suitable one/ two set rebates for fixing shutters and also rebate suitable for fixing fixed glazing including hole for self tapping screws wherever shown in the drawing, each frame to contain hinge jamb, lock jamb and head all rigidly fixed together with welded/ mechanical joints with back plates/ angles to correct shape & angles including providing and fixing base ties with GI channel 50x25mm, 1.25mm thick suitable section to suit floor thickness/ angle thresholds with MS angle 25x25x3mm 6 Nos of adjustable lugs perframe, providing and welding of 40x40x5mm, 150mm long angle cheats for hinges with necessary tapped holes for fixing conuntersunk headed machine screws to suit heavy duty oxidised/ stainless steel hinges of size 125x50x10G/125x38x10G/125x30mmx10G/75mmx19mmx15G or welding the hinges/ piano hinges etc. and finishing the same to smooth etc. (but excluding the cost of hinges which shall be paid under the relevant item) including providing each door frame with necessary lock strike plates, mortar guards, buffers, bushes etc. required for tower bolt/ baby latches, tadis, safety chains, aldrops etc.
including fixing the frame to brick work/ concrete work with necessary PCC or bolted/ screwed to concrete work, painting a shop coat of polyrethane paint including etching the surface with ETCH primer etc. including painting the exposed surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paintof approved make and colour over a coat of red oxide/ zinc chromate primer and painting the unexposed surfaces with twi coats of anticorrosiver bituminous paint, after rectifying with PU primer after rectifying the damaged PU primer due to transport including filling the hollows of door frame with C.C. 1:2:4 using 12mm thick down graded stone aggregate etc. all complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Providing & fixing in position approved 2nd class Teak wood Architraves of section 50x20mm fixed to pressed steel frames of door at all floors as per drawing including providing and fixing M.S. self taped screws at 600mm center, painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved make, & colour over one coat of approved primer etc. all complete as per specification & drawings.
Providing and fixing factory made 30 mm thick door shutter made of solid PVC foam profile. The styles & rails shall be of size 75 mm x 30 mm having wall thickness 5 mm. The styles, top & bottom rails shall have one side wall thickness of 15 mm integrally extruded on the hinge side of the profile for better screw holding power. The styles and rails shall be reinforced with M.S. tubes of size 33 mm x 17 mmx 1 mm, painted with primer , all four corners of reinforcement to be welded or sealed. Solid PVC extruded bidding (push fit type) will be set inside the styles and the rails with a cavity, to receive single piece extruded 5mm PVC sheet as panel. The styles and rails will be mitred cut and joint with the help of PVC solvent cement & self driven self tapping screws. Single piece extruded solid PVC lock rail of size 100 mm x 30 mm with wall thickness 5 mm & 15 mm integrally extruded in the middle of the
lock rail & fixed with styles with the help of PVC solvent cement & self driven self tapping screws of size 100mm x 8 mm complete as per manufacturer's specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge Door Shutterfor D3,D3a and Dt doors of 700/900/1000*2100mm , single leaf Note:- i) Manufacturer shall submit shop drawing showing the dimensions, details of construction etc for the approval of the Engineer in charge. ii) All the shutters and door frames should be detachable from the above assembly whenever required and the entiire door unit will be flush with the finished wall (door frame to paid under relevent item). iii) Quoted rate shall inclusive of all necessary fittings and fixtures required for the complete unit.
ALUMINIUM DOORS & WINDOWS
Note:- i) The contractor shall submit 6 copies of shop drawings for each windows, ventilators showing dimension details of construction etc. for approval of the Engineer-in-Charge and according to the approved shop drawing a sample of each windows with all fittings and fixtures with locking arrangement including glass panes etc. complete as per schedule of quantities, specifications and drawings, shop drawing should be submitted for preliminary inspection for approval after preliminary inspection, the sampleshould be fixed at site to ascertian its performance large scale manufacturing should be taken up only after rectification of defects in samples as directed to the full satisfaction of the department and after obtaining formal approval. ii) All doors, windows, ventilators section shall be anodised extruded section of M/s Jindal / M/s Indal or equivalent approved manufacture. iii) All fittings/ fixtures shall be of approved make / quality and as approved by Architect.
iv) All dimensions mentioned in the drawing are approximate. Necessary allwance for fixing over rough ground, and also necessary allowances for fixing tolerances to be considered while manufacturing. While manufacturing, actual site measurement shall be considered. Necessary planing for fixing the unit has to be carried out by the contractor without any extracost to the department. However, rate quoted by the contractor shall hold good. v) Payment shall be made per Kg basis, aluminium sections such as shutter frames, track window / door frame / beading channel for glass adjustable louvers etc., shall only be measured linearly as per actual /
finished cutting size nearest to centimetre and multiplied with sectional weight of the individual section and the total quantity of aluminnium section will be arrived at for payment without any allowance for wastage. vi) All glass panes shall be of approved brand unless otherwise specified. The glasses will be measured for payment separately under relevant item. Actual size of the glass fixed in position will be considered for payment. vii) Glass panes shall be fixed with approved EPDM gasketting. Beading, to be free from settling. Necessary mastic to be provided against seepage of rain water. viii) All top hung / side hung shutters to be provided with approved quality friction hinges. ix) In case of damage of any existing work, the same has to be made good / restored to original condition by the contractor at his own cost. x) No seprate payment shall be made for fittings such as locking arrangement, hinges, frictionhinges, fittings and fixtures, gasket etc., while quoting the rate for unit weight of aluminium sections for window / door. xi) However floor spring, hydraulic door closer will be paid seperately under relavent item.

WATERPROOFING TREATMENT
Note:- a) The contractor shall get written approval from the Engineer-in-Charge, for the water proofing agency engaged and shall submit the specification of the waterproofing agency before commencment of work. b) The contractor shall test the surface where water proofing treatment provided for bone dry condition by filling up with water. No wet patches or leaks shall appear on the surrounding wall or under side of the slab. c) The contractor shall furnish guarantee bond on appropriate stamp paper in the proforma as per Section-10 (iii) for the entire waterproofing treatment for maintaining the surroundings and under side surfaces of the water proofing treated area in bone dry condition for 10 years. During the guarantee period the contractor shall attend all leakages, defects etc. if noticed, free of cost, starting the work of checking up and rectification within a week's time from the date of intimation about such leakages / defects.
d) The contractor shall keep the water tank filled with water after the water proofing work has been completed and shall clean it before handling over. At no time shall the water tank be kept empty. Testing for the bone dry condition for the water proofing work carried out shall again be done, before handling over the flats, if found necessary by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying integral cement based water proofing treatment of the agency approved by Department, including preparation of surface as required for treatment of roofs, balconies, terraces etc consisting of following operations. As per IS : 2645 : 2003. Following works are included in this item. a) Applying and grouting a slurry coat of neat cement using 2.75Kg/sqm. of cement admixed with proprietory water proofing compound over the RCC slab including cleaning the surface before treatment. b) Laying cement concrete using broken bricks/brick bats 25mm to 100mm size with 50% of cement mortar 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) admixed with proprietory water proofing compund over 20mm thick layer of cement mortar of mix (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) admixed with proprietry water proofing
compund to required slop and treating similarly the adjoining walls upto 300mm height including rounding of junctions of walls and slabs. c) After two days of proper curing applying a second coat of cement slurry admixed with proprietary waterproofing compound. d) Finishing the surfaces with 20mm thick jointless cement mortar of mix 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound and finally finishing the surface with towel with neat cement slurry and making of 300x300mm square. e) The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with water for a minimum period of two weeks for curing and for final test. All above operations to be done in order and as directed and specified by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Filling in bath, W/C, toilet, depressed areas with Light weight Autoclaved Aeroted Concrete (AAC) blocks masonry with 150 to 300mm thick with Grade 1 AAC blocks of density 551 to 650 kg/cum confirming to IS:2185 (Part 3) with approved block laying polymer modified adhesive mortar at all floors and locations upto the required level and making the surface finsihed suitable to receive floor finish etc. all complete as per drawings , specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying water proofing treatment to vertical and horizontal surfaces of depressed portion of W.C., Kitchen and the like consisting of : i) 1st course of applying cement @4.4 Kg/sqm mixed with water proofing compund of approved brand conforming to IS 2645 in recommended proportions. ii) 2nd course of 20mm cement plaster 1:3 ( 1 cement : 3 coarse sand) mixed with water proofing compund in recommended proportions. iii) 3rd course of applying blown or residual bitumen applied hot at 1.7 Kg. Per sqm of area. iv) 4th course of 281 micron thick PVC sheet (overlaps at joints of PVC sheet should be 100mm wide and pasted to each other with bitumen @1.7 Kg/sqm.
PART I-I : PLASTERING WORK
Note:- a) Before commencment of plastering, the area shall be cleaned, wetted and shall be marked with 'Thiyyas' or 'Tapanis' and shall be got approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. b) Whenever the electrical contractor/ agency has to fix up switch boxes in walls, necessary Thiyaas or 'Dhadas' shall be arranged prior to plastering so that the electrical boxes are fixed properly in line with the finsihed plastered surfaces. c) Finishing around the junction boxes shall be done at all floor, level and position to the line, level and right angles as required while carrying out plastering work. d) No extra calim/ cement consumption shall be entertained by the Departmental for the palstering done more than the specified thickness shown in the schedule of quantities, to bring the plastered surface to perfect line, level and plumb with adjoining columns and beams.
Cement palster in single coat at all floors and locations to correct line, level, plane and plumb for following, including preparing the surface, scaffolding, curing etc. all complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
6mm thick cement plaster in Cement mortar (1 cement : 3 fine sand) for ceiling, exposed concrete surfaces, soffits of all slabs and beams soffit of staircase waist slab etc including providing and adding bonding agent of approved manufacturer's recommendation, including applying a slurry coat of cement andapproved water proofing compound (1:1 volume mix) with a brush before plaster applied internal brick/ concrete surfaces.
15mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 mix for internal brick/ concrete surfaces for all walls and beams flush with walls, mullions, below plinth concrete/brick surfaces etc.
Sand faced external cement plaster as specified below in cement mortar at all heights and locations including scaffolding, preparing the surfaces, finishing and rendering with sponge to correct line, level and plumb, curing including making plaster fluting (plaster in steps) etc. where ever required completeas per specifications and drawings.
18 mm cement plaster in two coats under layer 12 mm thick cement plaster 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) and a top layer 6 mm thick cement plaster 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) with water proofing agent @ 2% by weight of cement finished rough with sponge for brick/ concrete external surfaces. PART: I-J :PAINTING
Providing and applying 1mm thick cement base wall care putty of approved make at all floors and locations, plastered surfaces finsihed smooth to correct line level, plain, plumb etc., including preparing the surfaces, scaffolding, smoothen the putty surfaces with very fine water proof emery paper to get a glossy finish etc. complete as per specifications, as per manufacturers specifications, drawing & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Painting plastered surfaces with two coats of Premium Acrylic Emulsion Paint interior grade of approved colour including preparing the surfaces, filling holes and cracks with putty wherever required, scaffolding and cleaning etc, complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, installation and testing of 50W LED flood light fitting with suitable LED driver, IP 65 (minimum protection), 6500K colour temparature, 4KV inbuilt surge protection complete with all accessories on the existing truss including connections, earthing etc. as per the instruction and direction of E-I-C. The light fitting shall be got approved by the Department prior to installation.
Earthing System:
Note: Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of earthing system & associated accessories, etc, complete all as per specifications & as per the instructions of E.I.C. Note: 1) Measurements of resistance of each earth station & resistance of complete scheme of earthing layout must be measured recorded & got approved by E.I.C. 2) Jointing of the earth strip shall be with brass nuts bolts and also with solder joints. 3) Jointing of the earth wire shall be with solder joints with tinned cable sockets.
Supply, installing, testing & commissioning of heavily hot dipped GI earth plate 600 x 600 x 6 mm electrode earth station 2.5 m below ground level confirming to IS 3043 complete with all required materials like coke/charcoal, salt, brass nut-bolt & washers, watering arrangement, G.I. Pipe (B class) concrete chamber, 10 mm thick chequered plate hinged cover mounted on 40x40x5 mm thick angle iron frame & excavation in all types of soil in ground refilling & removal of excess earth within radius of 500 m. etc.
Supplying and laying 25 mm X 5 mm G.I strip at 0.50 metre below ground as strip earth electrode, including connection/ terminating with G.I. nut, bolt, spring, washer etc. as required. (Jointing shall be done by overlapping and with 2 sets of G.I. nut bolt & spring washer spaced at 50mm)
Providing and fixing 25 mm X 5 mm G.I. strip on surface or in recess for connections etc. as required.
Providing and fixing 6 SWG dia G.I. wire on surface or in recess for loop earthing as required.
Telephone system:
Supplying and fixing of following sizes of medium class PVC conduit along with accessories in surface/recess including cutting the wall and making good the same in case of recessed conduit as required.
Supplying and drawing 4 pair 0.5 mm dia FRLS PVC insulated annealed copper conductor, unarmored telephone cable in the existing surface/ recessed steel/ PVC conduit as required.
Supplying and fixing of 1 or 2 Module (75mmX75mm), GI box alongwith modular base & cover plate for modular switches in recess etc. as required.
Supplying and fixing following modular telephone socket outlet on the existing modular plate & switch box including connections but excluding modular plate etc. as required.
Supply & installation of 20 pair Telephone distribution box with back mount frame, krone connector, powder coated metal body with lock and key arrangement.
Supply and laying of 20 pair, 0.5mm telephone copper cable.
Air conditioning System:
Supply, Transportation and installation of 2.5 TR 5 Star capable of delivering 30000 BTU/hr, operating on refrigerant R-32 / R-410 Inverter Cassette type AC unit with ceiling mounted indoor unit and outdoor condensing unit Hermetically sealed compressor suitable for operation on AC supply capable of performing cooling dehumidifying air circulating and filtering with cooling and condensing units etc complete with Wireless remote controller, but without refrigerant piping and cable. With 2 years warranty and annual maintenance contract.
Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the 25mm drainpipe with CPVC pipes with all accessories and insulation with 6mm thick closed cell nitrile rubber of the following sizes, with all required accessories
Providing 2 runs of Copper tubes for suction and liquid between indoor and outdoor unit for split/Cassette Air-Conditioner (size as per the manufacturer recommendation) including foaming etc., complete.
Miscellaneous items:
Supply, installation of 40mm dia PVC conduit sleeves in beams/ column/ slab for passing electrical cables/ conduit as per instruction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Note-1: General Notes 1.For their own interest, contractors are advised to inspect the site with prior permission before quoting their rates. 3. All the samples of materials which are to be used shall be approved by the department in advance. 4. The contractor shall comply with the provision of the Payment of Wages act 5. Rates quoted shall be inclusive of all cost of materials, labour, carriage, taxes, GST, labourcess, water charges, elctricity charges, signorage charges, wastages etc.. 6. Rates quoted shall be excluding the amount of EPFO and ESIC contributions. EPFO and ESIC contributions are reimbursable on production of valid proof of payment made by the contractor as per CPWD norms.
